she looked at Ariel and fear gripped her heart .

“yes I’m fine sweetheart” she replied and covered it up with a smile .

“hey Cherry” Rudy called .

“where are you going ?” Lena

“library” Cherry replied and held Leo’s hand .

Lena looked at Leo and he smiled at her.

“wanna join us ?” Cherry asked .

“yeah let’s go ” she replied and they all went to the library.

while others were studying , Cherry and Leo was busy with something else.

“why are you two not reading?” Clark asked .

“none of your business” cherry replied.

soon Clark and Lena was playing lovey_dovey which got Leo’s attention.

Rudy looked at him and smile knowing fully well of how jealous he was.

“listen to this ” Lena said and held Clark ear.

“it’s hurt ” Clark said .

“listen to me now , because I’m not gonna explain it twice” she said .

“yes ma’am” Clark replied and kissed her cheek.

“don’t do that ” Lena said and looked away , blushing.

she looked at Leo and he looked away .

Leo got fed up of them and walked out angrily.

“see you guys later ” Cherry said and also followed him .

Leo got to the school garden and sat down on the bench.

“I know you like her ” Cherry said and joined him .

“What are you talking about?” he asked

“it’s written all over your face , she’s just too dumb to understand” she replied.

“don’t insult her ” he warned.

“I also like you ,no I love you ” she said sadly.

“I don’t” he replied shortly.

“I know you don’t wanna ruin your Friendship with her and Clark also, doesn’t that make us even ” she said .

“what do you mean ?” he asked

“Clark is waiting for her reply. he confessed his love to her and he’s waiting for her reply” she replied.

“that’s a lie , Lena never hide something from me ” he replied.

“I guess she will think you’re not gonna approve it , bacause you’re always arguing with Clark .

“I’m not gonna believe that ” he replied and scoffed.

“okay then , watch her give her reply to my brother and you won’t be able to do anything about it” she said .

he didn’t say anything and just looked away sadly.

they were both like that for what seems like forever without saying anything.

Lena came looking for them and as soon as the school bell was rang

Leo saw her first and quickly pulled Cherry in for a hug.

after the hug , he smiled and kissed her on the lips deeply for Lena to see .

she stood there with her two legs numb, staring at them .

she walked away when she couldn’t hold it anymore.

“why I’m I hurt seeing that ” she said trying not to cry , but she just couldn’t.

she let the tears flow down as long as they want to and walked to the rooftop with a heavy heart .
