And, it’s about time I correct them, she said she’ll agree to the marriage because of the baby.

But I don’t want that, I might sound voracious, no I am, I want her love not just the marriage.

If she doesn’t love me it’s time to let her go.

The next day

I watched Rivera dragged her luggage out of the house as tears fall continuously from my eyes.

“Aunt Rivera, please don’t go.” Betty whimpered hugging her thighs.

“Am sorry baby. But I need to do this.” She whispered hugging her tightly.

“Why? You promised we are gonna fight this together, why are you giving up now?” She sniffles her moist nose.

“Am sorry baby. Am really sorry.” She said slightly. Pulling off Betty from her thighs.

Using her other hand to clutch her bag.

She stared at me!! I quickly looked away.

In tears..

“Be a good girl Betty.” She mumbled whipping off Betty’s runing tears.

ONE WEEK LATER????

It’s been weeks since River left Jaydens and Betty.

Jayden has been drinking up himself.

While Betty has cried herself to stupor.

Worsrstill the both of them will go a day without eating.

But Jayden know Betty can’t handle the hunger. Since she’s still but a child.

“Hey! Open your mouth.” Jay muttered to Betty that was sitting hands folded together frowning up.

“Am not hungry dad, just let me be.” She half-yelled.

“Just eat something, baby.. it’s just an oatmeal.” Jayden urged her.

“No daddy! I dun wanna eat. Not until you bring back aunt River.” She said determinedly.

Jayden instantly went stiff.

“Promise me dad, promise me you’re gonna bring my aunt River back to me please.” Betty pleaded placing her hands on Jayden’s palms.

“Betty, dad has hurt aunt Rivera so much, it’s time to let her go… She deserves to be happy and free.” Jay fluttered his eyelids trying so hard to control his almost falling tears.

“She can’t be happy without me! I mean without us, dad please go after her and bring her back to us.” Betty pleaded.

Jay exhaled briefly!

“Please daddy!!” Betty pouted.

“I will bring her back, but you’ve to eat up first.” Jay bargained.

“You promised to bring her back,once I finish this bowl of oatmeal?” Betty shrikes.

While jay gave a slight nod. Tho he don’t know how he’s gonna do it.

“Boss! She’s leaving tonight, her flight is scheduled in an hours time.” Ray stepped into the leaving room and whispered directly to Jay’s ear.

Jay’s eyes instantly dime in displeasure.
