The next morning, I saw him leave for work after he finished his breakfast.

It’s Saturday which is my day off.

I dressed unicorn up.

But while dressing her up I caught a glimpse of how withdrawn and scared she was.

While packing her hairs.

“Aunt Rivera! Am so scared.”

“Talk to me baby.” I exhorted.

“Aunt Rivera, I was almost kidnapped the previous night.” She muttered.

“Uhm!” I exclaimed in panic.

“They both had a real gun.” She stuttered.

“I was damn scared but Mr Jayden came right on time to defend me.” she said.

“I screamed out my guts but nanny Aarate was no where to be seen.” She said further.

And realization struck me.
It’s 10 A.M but Aarate is no where to be found in the mansion.

Most times she act wired.

“Mr Jayden acted like a superhero yesterday… But am still groggy with him.”
“No matter what he dose, he can’t please me.” She said childishly.

I giggled slightly.

She’s right… No matter what Jayden dose I can’t….

“Miss the car is set.” We heard the driver’s voice from outside.

“I’ll be down soon.” I announced.

“Are you going out aunt River?” Betty questioned. While I padded her hair in a ponytail.

“Yes, baby aunt need to attend to something, I will be back home soon.” I ensured.

“Can I come along please!!” She pleaded joining her hands together.

“Why don’t you stay back home, I promise to get you more toys and candies.” I persuaded her.

“Am scared aunt, please take me along with you.” She pouted hugging my thighs.

I exhaled briefly.

“Fine. Am taking you.” I Said with an eye roll.

“Wow! Thanks so much.” She shrikes excitedly.

“But promise to be a good girl, huh?” I Said.

“Pinky promise.” She said with her finger.

“Ok, no time to waste.” I declared carrying her up from the bed as we headed downstairs.
