“MS Rivera, are you sure you’re going to operate on the patient?” Joanne my colleague question as we headed towards the emergency room.

“Yes Joanne.” I replied putting on my scrubs garment.

“Uhm! You know any little mistake the patient will k!ss the world goodbye.” She spat.

“Oh please.” I said with an eye roll.

“Yeah, you Know his life is just dangling… He’s been operate on from another hospital…. The surgery wasn’t a success…..he was referred to our hospital, any little mistake from you then he’s gone.” She blabbed.

“I know all that, beside I went home with the patients report… I’m surgeon Rivera, I’m different. I assured you a thing. That this surgery will be a success. Excuse me.” I said putting on my medical gloves as I steered for the theater.

“You’re gonna assist me in this surgery, I don’t want any silly mistakes from you, make sure to provide me with the tools as soon as I request for it.” I mumbled.

“Clear?” I roared.

“Clear as crystal.” She echoed.

“Good.”

We got to the theater switching on the light.

As the patient was rolled into the theater.

I changed into my clothes. As I hastily went into the car.

“Take me to master Jayden’s office.” I declared to the chauffeur who nodded at me.

After some minutes of driving. We arrived at a large company.

Filled with several new cars..

“Wow!” I gasped at the beauty of the compound.

“We’re here ma’am” The driver announced jolting me to reality.

“You mean, we are in master Jayden’s company?” I questioned in amusement.

“Yes, ma’am.” He echoed holding the door for me.

I stepped down from the car.. as we headed towards the main building.

“Boss Rivera is here.” He whispered softly. As I sighed.

“I will be there soon.” I whispered back.

“Mr Maxwell, are you hearing us at all?” The elderly men queried.

“Suit you a$s I will be right back.” I said nonchalantly heading out of the boardroom.

“Good evening.” She greeted spranging up.

“Am sorry, please let me go I promised to be home before twi light.” Rivera fretted bitting her nails.

“Tell me, where do you intend going?” He asked taking his seat.
