Dave was walking back home when he noticed people following him .

he turned around, but found no one . he look around and decided to walk faster .

he kept walking and when he turned around again, he saw four guys following him .

their face was covered and he didn’t know who they are.

he was about to run when another two came out from his front .

“hey kid ” one of them called .

“who are you ?” he asked , trying to act brave .

“where’s your father ?” another asked .

“you can’t fxcking ask him that , you fool ” one said and hit the first guy.

“I was trying to make it easier and faster” the first guy said .

“shut your damn mouth” the second said.

Dave found himself laughing , but not really loud .

he quickly ran to the other direction and started running as fast as he could.

“get him @$$holes ” he heard one said .

they started chasing him , but he was so fast coz he is an athlete in school.

he kept running, taking another route that doesn’t even lead to their house.

he ran into a corner and a hand pulled him and he tried to struggle.

“I wanna help ” the person said and he ran off with the person without even knowing him

the men got to the position and starting looking around.

“how can that kid be so fast ” one said .

“shut your fxcking mouth, it’s all because of you two ” another said .

“search around” another one yelled .

they started searching , but couldn’t find him .

“let’s go , the kid escaped”

“we will try to get him tomorrow, he’s the only way to Charles ” the one who happened to be the leader said .

“yeah let’s go ” they said and walked away .

“who are you ?” Dave asked when they finally stopped running.

“just a friend who wanted to help ” the guy replied.

“you’re not my friend” Dave said .

“I gotta go , I’m just a delivery guy anyway. I got stuffs to deliver” he said .

“what’s your name ?” Dave asked .

“kelvin” he replied.

“I’m Dave , thanks for helping me ” Dave said .

“you’re welcome ” he said with a smile .

“I can take you home to make sure you’re fine ” Virgo said .

“No I’m good , you can go now since you got stuffs to deliver” Dave replied.

“okay ” Virgo and tried to walk away .

“Can I get your contact?” he turn around and asked .

“no ” Dave replied.

“don’t be rude , I just wanna be your friend. you’re really cool in school” Virgo said .

“you’ve seen me before ?” Dave asked .

“yeah ,I came to the school competition multiple times to watch my brother, so I get to know you coz you always win ” virgo replied .

“thank you ” he said .

“so can I have it ?” he asked .

Dave was doubtful at first ,but decided to give him the number .

“be safe , I will call you” Virgo said and left .

instead of going home , Dave went inside the restaurant in front of him , which happened to be where his friend works .

“who knows , they might be outside waiting for me ” he thought.

“hey Mark ” he called .

“your order ? mark asked and came with the menu .

“Shut up ” he said

“can I go home through the back door please “he said .

“why ? you came in through this door , why do you wanna go through the back door?” mark asked .

“security reasons” he replied.

“what security reasons?” mark asked .

“you ask too many questions, just do it ” he said .

“the manager is around” mark said .

“i Will pretend like I wanna use the restroom” he whispered.

“okay come on ” mark said and they walk towards the restroom.

he opened the backdoor and Dave ran off and he locked it without anyone noticing.

“I wonder what’s he’s talking about” mark thought and went back to work .

“why are you back this late ?” Dian asked .

“I’m sorry Mom” he said and ran upstairs.

“won’t you tell me why you’re late ?” Dian asked .

“I will tell you some other time ” he replied and locked his door .

“what the heck ” he muttered and fell on his bed tiredly.

“should I tell Crissy about it ?” he thought.

“no I shouldn’t, she will be so worried” he muttered and stood up .

take off his clothes and went to the bathroom .
