★ Lucan’s gangdom★

Lucan opened his eyes and turn to the other side of the bed , his face was so close to that of Crissy. their lips almost touching each other.

he looked at her closed eyes and then her lips.

it was so tempting that he was lust staring at it while trying not to kiss her .

he look away and tried to stand up . he groaned due to the pain in his arm .

Crissy opened her eyes and quickly stood up ,wanting to help him.

“good morning” she said and he nodded.

she helped him sit up on the bed and left the room . she came back with a cup of water and gave it to him.

he gulped everything down and handed the cup back to her.

“how are you feeling?” she asked .

“did you cry?” he asked and she looked away .

her eyes were swollen and one could tell that she did .

“no I…I didn’t.. it’s like that ..my face is always like this in the morning, didn’t you notice all this while ?” she said.

“you hate lies , so why are you telling one now ?” he asked .

“lies ? no I’m not lying …I’m saying the truth” she muttered and Lucan smile .

“you cried because of me .didn’t you ?” he asked and she nodded slowly.

“why ?” he asked .

“you were so stubborn last night and I was scared ” she muttered.

” I was scared to look at the wound when he was getting you treated” she added .

“you’re always scared , but try to prove stubborn” he said and smile .

“no I’m not .. you’re the stubborn one here ” she said .

“really?” Lucan asked and pulled her with his other hand , making her sit on his lap.

“don’t…” she tried to stand up ,but he held her .

“why were you worried about me ?” he asked .

“I..no..thing .I was just scared ” she replied nervously.

“don’t ever worry about me okay ” he said .

“why shouldn’t I ?” she asked .

” I might die someday ..my life is always in danger ” he said .

“what happened yesterday? you didn’t go out of the clan , how then did you get injured?” she asked .

“don’t worry…

“I will be back ” she said and stood up , he tried to pull her back.

“I have to go and keep this ” she said showing him the cup.

“just keep it here ” he said and she kept it on the table.

“so now tell me what happened ” she said and he looked at her eyes.

“my dad ” he muttered and remembered something.

he shoved his hand inside his trouser and brought out a piece of paper .he looked at the bed drawer and took his phone .

“what happened?” Crissy asked looking at him

he quickly dialled the number . it was answered at first ring and the voice came up.

📞” hello ”

Lucan paused at the sound of the voice. his hand was shaking nervously. Crissy looked at him with a questioning look.

📞”it’s me .. Lucan” he said slowly.

📞”Lucan?” she asked .

📞”how are you doing? have you eaten? he asked.

📞”oh my… baby, Lucan I’m so sorry…my baby please forgive me ” she said .

📞”mom , how are you ? have you had breakfast?” he asked .

📞”you still called me mom ? don’t you hate me ? please hate me . I know you’re in pain because of me ” she said sobbing.

📞” Can you please just stop . did you had breakfast?” he asked .

📞”yes..yes ” she replied.

📞”his boys are there right ?” he asked .

📞”yes…but I’m fine you don’t have to worry about me ” she said .

📞”bye ” he said and wanted to hang up .

📞”I miss you . I miss you so much my baby …I really do ” she said .

he looked at Crissy and slowly remove the phone from his ear and ended the call.

“it’s okay ” Crissy said and hugged him .

“I know you miss her . don’t try to be brave at all time , everyone have something within them that’s always their weakness” she said .

“where did you learn that lines from ?” Lucan asked and chuckled.

“from my sister” she replied and smile

“she got good line tho ” he said and pulled her closer .

“stop … you’re not.. feeling…

“I’m fine ” he said staring at her lips .

he suddenly kissed her deeply. Crissy pulled away and stood up from his lap .

“I haven’t brush my teeth” she said .

“I know. it’s a thank you kiss ” he replied and stood up .

“let go do it together, I haven’t brush mine either” he said and held her hand .

“I will just go get my toothbrush” she said .

“I got extras here ” he said

she smile and followed him to the restroom.

they just finished and came out , when they both heard the doorbell rang.

“I think the doctor is here ” she said .

“come here ” she said and help him sit down properly, leaning on pillows.

“i Will go get the door ” she said and left the room .

she came back with the doc and he smile which make Lucan frown .

“do whatever you wanna do and get out” he said .

“sorry about that ” Crissy said to the doc and glared at Lucan .

the doc dropped the first aid box and opened it .
