Bright lights glared behindmy closed eyelids. I heard arhythmic beating filled my ears as I was slowly coming back to my senses.

Suddenly, a hard throb erupted in the back of my head. I couldn’t hold back the groan that slipped out of my lips. The beating sound abruptly stopped.

I gradually opened my eyes, flinching at the intense light. The pain shooting through my head didn’t help as I tried to wake up.

I groaned again as my eyes went through the process of getting used to the lights. With blurry vision, I made out a couple of objects in front of me. I noted that there was a hazy form, a girl, walking closer to me. I blinked a couple of times to clear my shadowy vision.

“Finally, you’re awake,” a sweet angelic voice said. I saw right in front of me was Savvy. She had a baseball bat in her hand. I grinned as I was able to fully and clearly look at her.

I missed seeing her face, her chocolate hair, and eyes.

“You hit me over the head with that, didn’t you?” I asked her. She began to tap the bat in the palm of her opposite hand.

“Maybe … You kidnapped me and brought me here, didn’t you?”

“Maybe,” I replied with her answer. “But it seems the tables have turned.” Hinting to how she got out of her ropes and ties. Then when I came back to the hotel to check on her, the wild crazy girl knocked me out. Guess I am now the one kidnapped.

“Why did you kidnap me?” She asked cutting to the chase. I sighed and began to twist the ropes that restricted my hands behind my back...

Damn she tied them good.

“Well, I would love to explain it to you, darling, but it seems you have roped my arms down,” I stated.

“Really, I thought those were big brown bracelets,” she muttered with an evil smile.

I chuckled. It was so like her to say that. “I missed you,” I breathed out loud before I realized it.

“You did?! I was too busy mourning your death, then finding out you were alive and not being able to see you!!! Allen! Are you serious?!” Her words were like venom as I felt her pain behind what she was saying.

“Savvy, please understand-” I was cut off by her sharp words.

“Understand! Allen?! You don’t know a thing about understanding! I had memory loss,” Overwhelming sorrow took over me knowing the memory loss was all thanks to my mom. “I had to face the fact that I didn’t remember anyone! I’m thankful my friends were there to help me! But you know it would have been nice if you were there too!”

It was hard to talk past the lump. “That’s why I was trying to leave before my mom … my mom did anything more to you. I was really thinking of you the most when I was doing this. Savvy, please believe me.” She glared at me before sighing.

“I believe you, but … Why couldn’t you just confront me?! Tell me what was going on?! We could have seen each other in secret or something!”

“You know my mother.

Remember how many times we tried to keep our relationship secret? She found out somehow. I couldn’t risk that!” I wanted her to understand more than anything that I was thinking of her safety. “Not to mention when I put this whole plan into action, you had memory loss. How do you think you would react to me coming up and being like ‘I know you don’t know me, but we are dating and I am the reason you are like this, because of my psycho mother’? Something tells me that you would have done a lot more than hit me with a baseball bat.”

“You know-” Savvy was cut off by a knock at the door.

“Room service,” a voice from the door said. I gave Savvy a skeptical look.

“Did you order room service?” I asked, she shook her head. “Savvy, untie me, now,” I told her. She rushed behind me and untied the ropes.

“Hello, anyone here,” the raspy voice repeated from the other side of the door. I heard some murmurs and I realized what was happening.

Finally my hands were free and I grabbed Savvy’s wrist, leading her to the adjoining door that led into another hotel room. Yes, I bought a combine hotel that has two separate rooms with a door separating them. In case of this...

Quickly, I closed and locked the door. My gripped on Savvy never loosened as I pushed her along with me and made my way to the front door of the other hotel room. I was careful when opening the door. I stuck my head out slowly and saw two men. I knew them, they were my mom’s ‘buddies’ and I knew that we were stuck in the room, until they go into the other hotel room.

I was just scared of what they would do if they found us. One thing was sure, if they did catch us, we might not make it very far before our bodies would be lifeless.

No faking that death.

Kyeire: Jumps through the window HEY GUYS!

Allen: SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Closes the door fast, but softly

Kyeire: Oh, were you hiding?

KittyKat: No duh, idiot.

Kyeire: No one was talking to you!

KittyKat: And no one wants to talk to you.

Savvy: My feet are cold, and I am wearing two socks!

Kyeire: Go take a shower, the bathroom is that way.

Allen:Who the hell let you let others use my room?

TheRiverRunsDeep: Hey, there’s nothing in the fridge.
