Maddy's P.O.V ... Feelings Are Worth A Thousand Words

Maddy's P.O.V

I don't know why I was crying when Savvy told me she remembered Inx but not me or the others. But it just made me feel like the sleepover last night was for nothing. I ran to our hotel room and ignored Kay calling after me for the ice. I went straight to the bathroom and decided that I was not going to come out for a very long time. I sat in the tub, and starting sobbing, I was crying so much and for so long that I soon forgot what got my panties in a twist. I stood up slowly and looked at myself in the mirror. I had no idea who the figure was staring at me, with red eyes and wet cheeks.

"Are you serious?!" I heard Kay shout from outside the bathroom door. Curiosity got the better of me and I walked closer to the door. "That's great Savvy!" I cracked open the door.

"I know! Oh! Kay, Hope, and ..." Savvy drifted off as her eyes scanned the room, for I think me. Before she could look at the bathroom door I closed it. I didn't want her to see me like this.

"She's locked herself in there for the past two hours. Won't come out, I asked her what's wrong through the door, but she wouldn't answer." Kay tried to whisper to Savvy, but I heard every word. I sank down on the floor and then thought about why exactly I was crying.

"Inx." I said in a low voice. He was back, and I so didn't want him back. I wish he had stayed wherever he went to for I knew his dirty little secret.

"Maddy, please come out, we have great news!" Hope called out to me. I sighed and then figured, I probably should go out. Good news is just what I need. I stood up and slowly opened the door. I was faced with a grinning Kay and Savvy.

"I have the best news!" Savvy shrieked. I gave her a forced smile.

"What?" I asked.

"I have my memory back!" She said and then started to hop around the room while singing. "I can remember! I have memory! I have memory! Yeah! Bee-itches!" I chuckled when she hopped on the bed where Hope was sitting. "You bee-itch! I have my memory back and you can't smile?!" Savvy shouted at Hope. Hope tried not to let a smirk escape her lips, but after Savvy started to tickle her, she couldn't help it.

"Stop! Uncle! Shit! Seriously! My ankle is killing me when I move! Stop!" Hope shouted.

"You don't have to move when I tickle, you bee-itch." Savvy said.

"Fuck you." Hope tried to mouth as Savvy attacked her sides. Savvy soon stopped and rested beside Hope.

"That was fun Hope." Savvy told Hope. "We should do it again sometime." Savvy started to wiggle her eyebrows which meant Savvy was referring to something else.

"You are such a pervert." Hope stated.

"Changing the subject." Kay interrupted. "Savvy, how did you get your memory back? Was it because of our awesomeness of last night and how we helped you?" Kay asked.

" ... No, it was actually ... Well ... Inx helped me." Savvy said with a hint of a blush.

"Inx? What?" Kay said in a shocked manner. "He-He-" Savvy stopped Kay.

"He is back in town." Savvy stated, Kay eyes grew as big as saucers.

"What? When? Where? How?" Kay quizzed. Savvy shrugged.

"We didn't do much talking." Admitted Savvy to us. All of us went silent.

"W-What else were y'all doing?" Kay asked Savvy, who started to blush. "Oh, no you didn't." Kay said with a smile. Savvy slowly nodded.

"Great, I am the only virgin now." Hope muttered. We all giggled at her.

"That's ... t-that's great Savvy. I'm happy for you." I said, faking a smile.

She smiled back. "Well thanks! I'm happy for me too!" This caused us all to laugh.

The truth was, I wasn't very happy for the giddy Savvy. Her happiness I knew was going to be short lived. Once she found out what Inx was hiding, well let's just say she wouldn't want to be near him. I sighed and sat on the edge of the bed thinking of how I should have stopped Savvy from going off with Inx. A ping of disappointment flooded through me, in a way I felt as if this was my fault for letting Savvy fall in his trap.

"So what is Inx going to do, now that he is back in town?" Kay asked. I had then realized I'd missed them talking more about Inx and Savvy, and now they were on the subject of what is Inx going to do now that he is back in town.

"He told me that he's only staying the night here at the hotel, tonight and tomorrow morning he leaves for back home." Savvy stated. We all furrowed our eyebrows, confused as to why he was leaving so quickly.

"Why?" I asked a little irritated.

"I don't know exactly what he has to do, but he said that he needs to get the rest of his things and wrap up some last minute work." We all nodded. "But he said he'll be back in a few weeks."

"Well, until he comes back, you need to give us the details of what happened." Kay said with a smirk. Savvy started to blush beet red. At that moment I could see she was falling for Inx, again. Yeah, this was not the first time. Savvy was in love with Inx and Allen at the same time. We - no make that I - told her that Allen was better for her. There are just things Savvy didn't know about Inx that would ruin their relationship if they were to ever have one. I sighed and looked at her.

"Come on tell us."

"I will tell yawl, if you tell me something."

"What?"

Savvy smiled. "Is Allen really dead?" As soon as she spoke we all went silent.

2 Weeks later!

*(Still Maddy's P.O.V)*

I walked out of my house in a pair of comfy sweats and a loose shirt. This morning I just couldn't fit into my skinny jeans, I think it might be because my time of month is very near. I always seem to bloat up like whale. I was feet away from my car when I saw a figure walking towards me from across the street. Troy strode over to me with a huge smile.

"Hey, babe." He grinned at me. I started to glare at him. "What's wrong?" He asked me with worry.

"I just don't feel good today." I answered. Troy gave me a concerned look.

"Are you sick?" He asked me. I sighed.

"As sick as I always am around this time of month." I grumbled. His eyes went wide for a second before he composed his expression of shock.

"So, you ... you started?" He asked me. I, for some reason, became embarrassed when he said it through his lips.

"Well, my jeans aren't fitting right." I muttered. He gave me a skeptical look.

"But you haven't started?" He quizzed.

"Why are you asking me this?" I asked him. "What are you? My personal tracking calendar? Gonna make sure to remind me next month that I'm having my period now?"

He backed up immediately with surrendering hands going up. "Sorry. Sorry. I was just...wondering..."

Seconds later, I realized I had blown up on him. I hadn't meant to be so harsh.

"Look, I'm sorry. Like I said already, I'm not feeling good." I folded my arms, and shot him with a glare even though I felt guilty.

Suddenly, before Troy could actually say what he was opening up his mouth for, I gripped my stomach, feeling something come up. I couldn't even curse. I ran into my house, Troy close on my heels as I made it to the bathroom. I barely made it in time before my breakfast was going into the toilet.

"Maddy!" I heard Jamie say, but Troy was blocking his way.

I don't know what was happening (seeing how busy I was at the moment), but I heard Troy say sternly to Jamie, "I'll take care of this." And then a struggle before the bathroom door slammed closed. And the lock clicking in place.

"Damn you Dazer, open this door right now!" Jamie sounded mad as he pounded the door.

I had no more time to silently comment as my stomach was clenching again, and the horrible barfing sound echoed around the bathroom again.

I felt cool hands on the back of my neck as Troy stood behind me, holding my hair out the way.

Soon it sounded like Dad had joined Jaime outside the bathroom. "Maddy? Are you alright? What is he doing to you!?" He sounded panicked. "I swear, Dazer if you lay one hand on her, I will kill you!"

Crap. If Troy stepped out of here he was going to be dead meat.

Stomach completely empty, I sat back against the side of the bathtub, feeling weak all over, not to mention my eyes felt like they weighed a ton. I was becoming so sleepy. But I forced myself to stay awake knowing that my sudden fatigue will soon pass, or at least I hoped.

Troy flushed the toilet and put the lid down, then helped me up so I could sit down on it. "Are you okay?"

I glared at him, my flagging strength only allowing me to half-whisper. "What do you think?"

Troy laughed. "Sorry. I just feel really helpless right now."

"Nothing to be sorry about, and as for you being hopeless, you seemed to have helped me enough. Thanks." Troy smirked and nodded. "I just haven't ever had it this bad on my time of the month." I noted. Troy's smile fell.

He looked a little suspicious, but my father and brother's constantly yelling and pounding at the door was starting to get on my nerves. "Dad, Jamie! Please, just shut up and leave us the hell alone! I'm fine!" I yelled hoarsely to them, using one hand to massage my temples.

"You're okay?" Jamie asked for reassurance.

"Of course I'm okay! Why wouldn't I be? Troy's never hurt me before!"

The silence was quiet. I could feel the storm brewing. It seemed like the seconds turned to minutes before I heard my dad say in a deadly voice, "Are you...are you dating that boy Maddy?" My eyes shot open wide. I didn't know what to say to him. I pressed my lips in a thin line. I was so clueless as to what to tell him. "Maddy! Open this door! I want to talk to you two! Now! Or I will break down this door!" I stood up from the toilet, and headed to the door, but Troy grabbed my arm.

"Maddy, before you open the door, there is something I need to tell you." He whispered. I waited for him to speak, but the sound of my dad counting down made me shake my head.

"Tell me later, we need to face the music or he will literally break down the door." I told him and then went reached for the door knob. Once I opened I saw my dad narrow his eyes at Troy before looking softly at me.

"What the hell do you think you two are doing?" My dad asked.

"Dad, I got-"

"Sir, she was about to throw up, I guided her to the toilet and held her hair as she got sick." Troy told my dad who eyed him warily.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

"Why did you lock the door?" My dad asked Troy.

" ... " Silence filled the air as Troy knew not what to say next.

"I want you out of my house in the count of three. One ..." Troy made no move to leave, in fact he actually grabbed my hand, which made my dad reddened with anger. I looked down at our hands, and noted his hand was slightly shaking and it felt very clammy.

"Troy, you do not want me to get to two, because I might not get to three." My dad warned him.

"Sir, I am going to leave, but not without Maddy." This made my dad clench his fist. I could practically see the blood vessels popping in my dad's face as he let what Troy just said soaked in.

"You know, I never truly thought I would have to use the shotgun in my closet, but son, you are pushing it." My dad said in a harsh voice. I knew my dad was dead serious when he was talking about using his gun. I give Jamie, who was watching this scene unfold, a pleading look. He shrugged his shoulders. I gave him the puppy dog look, as if begging for him to stop my dad.

"Dad, how about we sit the two down and let them fully explain what is going on."

"Explain what? I'm not stupid! You two are dating! Plus, you two have had sex! Now Maddy is pregnant!" I gasped in shock that my dad suggested such a thing. "Oh, Maddy don't act like you don't know. I know a pregnant woman when I see one! Your mom has been pregnant over 5 times and not to mention your sisters that are now in their twenties and have children! With the loose clothing and throwing up, not to mention I have been noticing your tiredness and eating. I just now put it together. But all I have to say is Troy, you best get the fuck out of my house, right now!" I stood there, thinking ... I can't be ...

"Maddy," Troy looked down at me. He didn't look shocked or surprised at all.

"Why aren't you shocked?" I asked in a panicked voice. "I-I-I could be-be ... Oh my gosh! I might be ..." I started to cry, thinking of how I wanted children. But I wanted them when I'm older and living with my husband. Not to mention I wanted children when I knew I could support them and not have to live at my parents with no money.

"Maddy," Troy said again as he placed his hands on my shoulders. "Calm down." He tried soothing me.

"Get your hands off of her, you have already done enough." My dad said. Troy ignored him and looked me straight in the eye. I saw his eyes were not filled with surprise and fear, but more of an apologetic look. Like he was sorry for something.

"You knew. You've known that I might be pregnant, didn't you?" I asked him with my voice slowly rising with each word. Troy said nothing, and by that I felt my stomach do a flip. That's why he wanted me not to drink and why he'd been following me around like a lovesick puppy lately. I bet he didn't even like me, he just wanted to stick around and see if I was actually prego. "How did you know?" I asked him. He sighed.

"Sometimes the guy just knows." My dad answered for Troy, I glanced at my dad wondering why he was not trying to get rid of Troy anymore. When my dad noticed he had stopped trying to kick Troy out and was listening to us, he glared at Troy.

"Son, I think it's time you go home." My dad stated. Troy stood his ground.

"I want to stay with Maddy." Troy said. "I-I-I will take her to get a test." My world felt like it was spinning.

"Dad, let him take me." I mumbled as I was trying to grasp what was going on. The thought of being pregnant made me feel like I was about to be sick, or was that sick feeling, morning sickness?

Oh, snap!
