Okay what?

I just wanted to enjoy my evening with Bryan so it would be better if I forget whatever happened few minutes back.

I reached the garage and saw a familiar face staring at me and giving me his angelic smile.

"Bryan." I whispered as I went towards him.

We were meeting after 6 years and his face had changed a lot since then. His features became sharper; he had an athletic body with a tattoo on his right arm. The only thing that remained the same was his angelic smile.

"You look like an angel, Amelia." He smiled.

Yes, Bryan. I am your angel.

No, wait!

Amelia, that was 6 years ago. Stop this.

He opened the door of the car for me and entered into the driver seat after closing my door.

"So, are we ready?" He grinned at me.

"Yes, we are ready." I beamed back.

Aaron's POV

Boyfriend? She has a boyfriend?

All I could feel was jealousy.

"Aaron, are you okay?" Kylie's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Kylie, you told me everything about her except the boyfriend part." I clenched my fists while mentioning the word 'boyfriend'.

"Trust me Aaron; you have fallen in love with Amelia."

No, this can't be true.

"How many times have I told you Kylie that I have been shifted to this apartment by my brother to kill Amelia and take the revenge of my father's death? I'm not allowed to fall in love with anyone in our business."

Kylie sighed heavily, "Don't overlook the fact that you've liked Amelia since the day you saw her photo." She continued, "Moreover, if you didn't like Amelia, then what am I doing here?"

I rolled my eyes, "Kylie, can you stop making me remember all those things? I can't tell you how much it had hurt me to see the pain of betrayal in Amelia's eyes, the day you came with me."

Kylie giggled, "You know, in your case, its love at first sight." She stop giggling and became serious, "But see the game of destiny, you fell in love with the girl who is the biggest enemy of your family. Though, I would never ever believe that Amelia is responsible for your father's death."

I sighed, "Even I don't think that Amelia can be responsible for someone's death. You told me everything about her past and she has no criminal records."

Kylie's eyes widened, "Then what are you waiting for? Tell Amelia about your feelings for her!"

"Shut up, Kylie. I have no feelings for her. Now, can you please tell about her boyfriend?" I rolled my eyes.

Kylie looked at me with a bored expression, "Okay, so first of all, Bryan isn't her boyfriend. He was her boyfriend in the past."

What? Then why did she tell me that it was her boyfriend?

Did she do this to make me jealous? Well then, congratulations to her, she succeeded in making me jealous.

Kylie continued, "Bryan and Amelia knew each other since their childhood. They were best friends. And I always basically felt like the third wheel." Kylie rolled her eyes, "But slowly slowly, their friendship changed into love. They were madly in love with each other." She smiled as if she remembered something, "Everything was going so nice." Her smile all of sudden disappeared, "But suddenly one day, Amelia found Bryan and Rose kissing each other. Rose was Amelia's close friend. Another day, she had by chance read Bryan's and Rose's conversation which confirmed her doubts regarding their secret affair. But, the astonishing thing was Bryan kept on telling that it was all done intentionally by Rose and Cathy, his sister, as they didn't like Amelia. But Amelia didn't believe him and they eventually broke up."

I felt my blood boiling.

How could that guy cheat on Amelia? How the hell can he make her cry? How can he—

Wait, why am I even bothered?

Kylie sighed, "Aaron, can you at least tell me how is Amelia responsible for your father's death? I mean what did your brother tell you about her past?"

"I am sorry Kylie, but I am not supposed to reveal it to you."

Kylie gave me a small smile, "Well, that's okay. I understand. The only thing I am sad about is that Amelia now hates me and the worst part is that I cannot even tell her, what I am doing here with you."

I smiled, "Don't worry Kylie. When she will come to know the reason, she will be really grateful to you and will instantly hug you."

Kylie wiped her tears and smiled, "I hope so."

I can no more deny the fact that I have fallen for Amelia. The sparks that I feel when I am with her can't be ignored. The fact that seeing her sad, makes my heart shatter into pieces can't be ignored. The fact that I feel jealous whenever I see her with some other guy, can't be ignored.

At first, I was rude and impolite to her because I wanted her to hate me. Now that I have made her hate me, I want her to love me.

What's up with these silly and childish feelings of mine? What exactly my heart wants?

I didn't even realize how my infatuation has changed into love. I agree that I have liked her since my brother showed me her photo, but whenever my brain reminded me that she was responsible for my father's death, I would stop listening to my heart.

But, now that I saw her and talked with her in person, I can't believe that she can kill anybody.

I want to be with her. I want to tell her everything. I want to protect and defend her from all these. I want her to love me back. I want her.

But, do people fall in love with a murderer?
