Rafael was right, Eliana might be overworking herself a little too much. She was feeling dizzy for a whole day. That couldn't be good.

Her shift would be over in about 30 minutes and she was very thankful for that.

"Are you feeling okay?" Mike asked, his voice concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Eliana said automatically "Why?"

"You're face is a little more pale than usual? Sorry, maybe not" Mike backtracked quickly, probably worried that he offended her.

"No, it's okay. To be honest I've been feeling a little under the weather today"

"If you need me to cover more shifts-"

"No, it's okay. Probably ate something bad. I will be fine tomorrow"

"Okay"

"We're almost done for today. You can go, I will finish here" Eliana said checking the clock.

Mike nodded and went to the breakroom to change.

"See you tomorrow Eli"

"See you"

After Mike left, Eliana noticed there was an empty shelf where water bottles should be. She went to the magazine to get the wrapped package of water from there.

She miscalculated. The bottles were heavy and she wasn't feeling well in the first place. She didn't know at what point it happened, but her body suddenly went limp.

What woke her up was the loud noise Giovanni was making.

"Eliana, wake up!" Eliana could feel someone patting her cheek firmly. A little too firmly. Ouch, that hurt.

She opened her eyes annoyed just to see her bodyguard now towering over her. There was a serious concern in his eyes and that worried her.

Eliana tried to get up, but Giovanni's hand kept her on the floor with his hand. She tried to say something but he was quicker.

"Wait a minute. Don't get up right now. Everything will be okay, I'll call Mr Vincenti"

Eliana wasn't sure if he's trying to calm her down or himself. Either way, everything will not be alright if he calls Rafael.

"Wait, don't call him" Eliana don't need to see Rafale with his I told you so face when "I'm fine"

"You just passed out"

"Can you just put that phone down?" Eliana asked, feeling really frustrated right now.

"No," Giovanni said simply and raised the phone to his ear.

"Wait!" Eliana grabbed his phone out of desperation and he looked at me in shock. "How about I go to the doctor to check if everything is alright? Just don't call him"

Rafael was the most unpredictable person she has ever met. She had no idea how would he react to the news of her fainting and I didn't want to find out.

She recalled what happened after she was attacked by the rude customer. Rafael was really worried and angry back then. She needed to keep this to herself for now.

"If you have anything more than exhaustion you will inform the boss, can you promise me that?"

"Sure"

Giovanni sighed "And please bear in mind that Mr Vincenti won't be happy with me or you when he finds out"

"Okay, okay"

There was no way Giovanni was letting her sit behind the wheel today so like a good girl she ended up sitting at the backseat of his black Mercedes.

She personally knew a doctor working at the ER, she really hoped he will be working today

"Alex thank you for finding time for me so soon," she said giving him a hug.

Alex Brown, a person she met plenty of times.

"Of course. Tell me what happened"

Eliana explained how she fainted at her workplace, and how she felt dizzy all day.

Alex asked several follow-up questions regarding my overall health and then more detailed questions regarding her recent condition.

Eliana wasn't experiencing any health problems lately. The bruise at the back of her head was completely healed now and she didn't have any headaches, no dizziness, or anything like that. But something definitely was wrong.

"It takes around two hours to examine blood and urine samples, I can admit you overnight if you want or I can give you a call tomorrow about the results"

"I will wait at home then"

Alex nodded.

"Is there anyone who can take care of you at home?"

Oh, there sure was.

Tomorrow came quickly. Eliana was called in the afternoon. Just to learn shocking news.

"You're pregnant, congratulations."

Alex sure was saying something to her, but surely, she could not be pregnant, right? Absolutely, not.
