I've never been to a fancy charity dinner party before but it sounds fun right?

(Very wattpad cliche but i love it idc)

I'm going to actually describe both outfits which I don't usually do so it can work for pretty much everyone and they can feel like they fit in the scenario some way or another but it feels like it fits here. However if you don't like it feel free to imagine whatever you want) I'm gonna go with wife in this chapter because it just feels elegant and fitting.

Fancy isn't usually my thing, big expensive dresses and enough small talk to kill me. I made the exception tonight tho, I couldn't say no to a charity event that's donating to little kids who are struggling with all kinds of illnesses and problems.

So now I'm in a really expensive black silk dress that goes all the way down to my feet and a long slit up my right leg. Thin, gold heels strapped around my ankles and the straps of the dress are little gold chains. To match the gold accessories I have a gold chain around my neck that has a small heart pendant. It's all supposed to make me look classy and sophisticated.

Personally I feel like a walking handbag that's gonna fall flat on their ass but I was told that's not important.

"You two look absolutely gorgeous tonight my dears." An old lady who's one of the main contributors to this party kisses us both on the cheek. My wife wearing an all black suit, a sheer black button up with a red lace bra underneath and all gold jewellery to match with me.

"Thank you, it's a wonderful event." I don't know this lady's name so I'm just kind of blagging it.

"It sure is, go drink. It's an open bar don't forget." She smirks to us and she pinches my cheek and walks away to interrupt another couples conversation.

"I guess we should make use of the open bar." She holds her arm out against her hip for me to link my arm through it.

"It'd be rude not too." I smile and put my arm through hers and we make our way over to the bar and order a few drinks each.

"You should really wear a suit more often." We're leant against a column in a corner of the room, facing the wall instead of the crowd.

"Yeah? Why's that baby?" She rests one arm on the column next to my head and lifts my chin up with her other hand.

"All I can think about is you fucking me while wearing it." I don't speak to loud despite the music from the band, I don't want anyone else to hear me.

"You're going to have to think about it for a little while longer. I promised we'd stay at this party for a little while." She leans down press a soft kiss against my lips.

"Would it help if I told you I wasn't wearing any underwear right now." I whisper in her ear as she pulls away from me and she clears her throat a little and stands up straight.

"Careful sweetheart, we've still got to get through dinner."

For fucks sake, definitely just shot myself in the foot. I clear my throat and she laughs a little, we walk around the sides of the dance floor trying to find the table with our names on. Large rectangular tables fill the sides of the room, all facing different directions. The layout just screams a rich persons lack of organisational skills.

We sat at the end of a smaller table, I didn't know anyone in this place so I only engaged in small talk but it seems like she knows a couple people at the table and manages to keep up with them all evening. Chatting to a few different people but still making sure to check in on me, to make sure I was happy and that I was enjoying myself.

All while her hand was resting on my back, softly stroking up and down my spine and then resting on my shoulder when she was focusing a little more in the conversation.
