My God When - S01 E03

To be sincere with you, I don’t know what came upon me that day.

I got to his house with the intention of reading my books.

On getting to his house, I met him crying like a baby boy.

I felt bad. I hate to see people weep.

The fact that he was crying made him so ugly. I never knew a man could be that ugly .

I went close to him and asked why he was crying.

He gave me his phone to check the message he received.

I couldn’t finish reading when tears came down my eyes.

“Daniel, your mum is dead. We saw her dead body in the market. Her dead body has been taken home. Come home immediately”. The message read.

So, his mum was dead.

“Damilola, I’m traveling tomorrow. I just can’t believe she is gone. We spoke last night. God. My lover is gone. Who will still love me like my mum? ” He said.

I thought I was saying “I will love you till I die, Daniel” in my mind.

I never knew those words came out of my lips.

Daniel looked at me over and over again, then wept.

I went closer to him.

I hugged him tightly just to show that I was concerned.

Just that hug made him to ask for a kiss.

We kissed!

I slept over.

I have never done that before, I just had to do that for him.

He kept on crying like a baby, I even had to cuddle him before he was able to sleep that night.

The following morning, he traveled home. Our communication was still intact.

After one month, he resumed to school.

It wasn’t easy for him to move on. I made it easier for him. I acted like his mother.

He finally asked for sex.

That night, I just noticed he was always over me.

“Damilola, I want you, pleaseeeeee! It is as if I’m going to die. I just need you” He said that night.

My mouth flew open.

I closed it.

“Daniel, will you marry me? You’re the first man to ask me this” I managed to say.

“So, you’re a virgin?” He asked.

“Yes!” I replied.

“Damilola, I promise to marry you. I will forever cherish you. I love you.” He said.

“Gbam!!!” We did it.

After one month, I missed my period. I knew I was pregnant.

I told him, he told me to abort it.

I aborted it successfully.

He was happy.

Did I tell you he had to pack his things to my apartment?

Did I tell you I paid his school fees and other bills?

Well, it all started one afternoon.

I was with him when his landlord came to ask for his house rent.

He gave him 24 hours to pay his house rent.

To be sincere with you, Daniel didn’t have even #1000 in his pocket to pay house rent of #40, 000.

Since we were campus couples, I told him to relocate to my room since I stayed alone.

You could imagine how happy he was.

He couldn’t thank me enough.

Feeding himself was a problem. So, I did that. I foot bills myself.

All because I loved him.

He also loved me. He was so caring. He was my encourager. He was my special adviser.

And I was very ok with that.

My mum called me one day and told me she had a nightmare. She told me to be very prayerful.
