Hide And Seek - S01 E27

During those 2 weeks, Kyle didn't show up again at the café or the clinic, even if he does, he will only spend a moment of his time.

He always texts or calls me in the morning when I wake up and, in the evening, before we sleep. Why does he start to distance himself again? Is he mad because I didn't tell him the reason why I cried that day? Or did he find the girl and they are together now?

I'm getting crazy because of these questions that keep on popping into my head. It's none of my business, it's his life. I'm only here to support him and to guide him however I can.

I inform my co-workers from the café and from the clinic that I will be gone for two days. I want to have a two-day vacation with my parents in my hometown. I authorized Elaine to handle everything in the café, including the paperwork while I'm not around and Beth, my assistant in the clinic, to take in-charge for a while. I planned to leave in the afternoon so I could be there before dinner.

I didn't tell him about my plans, but I'm happy to see him waiting for me outside my door with a big grin on his face. "Good afternoon," he greeted me. "Good afternoon," I greeted back. I noticed that he didn't have any luggage with him when he met me. He told me that it was already in the car, he just went back to fetch me and to help me with my things.

I only brought a small suitcase with me since I'll just stay there for two days. Plus, I have some clothes in my cabinet at my parent's house, so I don't need to bring too many clothes with me. He told me that we will use his car for this road trip but when we reached the parking lot, I was surprised at what my eyes were seeing. This is not the red Chevrolet car that he uses for his work. It is an expensive Ferrari car that I don't know what series came from.

It has a white coating with a single black line on its hood. Its seats have two colors, the driver seat finished red while the passenger seat was colored black. It doesn't have a roof but on the upper part of the seats have a hoop but I don't know what that's for.

I thought my Mitsubishi Mirage was cool but this is way much cooler compared to mine. "Are we going to use this? We can use mine if you want," I don't want to touch it, scared to accidentally scratch its shiny coating but he chuckles at my suggestion. "It's fine. We can use this, don't worry."

He opened the door for me then he ran to the driver's side after he closed my door. We wear our seatbelts for safety and then start this amazing and safe journey of ours.

KYLE'S POINT OF VIEW

Today is the start of my amazing plans. I contacted some of my friends to help me with my preparations, from the flowers that I'm going to use to the necklace that I designed for her as my gift.

She looked so surprised when she heard those words from me but I hope she understood what I said that night. I'm getting excited but there is something that bothers me until today. Why did she cry that day? She still says nothing about it but I'm willing to wait until she opens it up to me. I don't want to push her if she doesn't want to.

I'm waiting for her outside their apartment. We are going to visit our hometown together and apologize to my parents at the same time. I've been busy doing what's on my plan which maybe made her a little insecure because she didn't send me any messages for the past two weeks. I've texted her but she didn't reply to my messages even if she does, it's only limited. I don't even know if she is still here or if she's already on her way by this time.

Elaine told me that Anna already left the things in the clinic to her secretary and the matter in the café is in her hands now. After that, Anna left the café before lunch. Her car is still in the parking lot, so I assume that she's still here, if not, maybe she takes a bus going there but it's impossible because it's so hard to catch a bus going back to the city.

My anxiety fades away when I hear the door click. Indicating that someone is inside and about to go out. When it finally opens, I can't stop myself from smiling upon seeing that she's still here. She's wearing a black collared dress with elbow-length sleeves that has big raffles at the end. It is a combination of lace cloth from the shoulder down to the elbow, as well as raffles and a silk cloth for the body. She looks like a Rockstar.

"Good afternoon," she didn't expect me to show up here. I know it because of her surprised expression. "Good afternoon," she greeted me back with a smile on her face. I help her with her small luggage that only contains a few of her clothes. She told me that she has some clothes in her parent's house so she doesn't have to bring that many.

I told her beforehand that we are going to use my car on this road trip but the car we are going to use is not the car I'm using when I'm going to work, it is the car I bought just for this day. An expensive Ferrari F60 America that has a speed of up to 75mph. She looked amused when she saw the car.

"Are we going to use this? We can use mine if you want," she asked me, maybe she's afraid to scratch the car that's why she suggested using hers instead of this. "It's fine. We can use this, don't worry," I opened the passenger door for her and when she was inside, I ran to the other side to start our amazing journey.
