My girl Neighbour -S01 E39

I woke up feeling numb in my right leg.

I looked around, where am I?

I got up suddenly when I realized I am in my parents room. I looked at my side, when I heard my Mom groaned but still asleep.

My eyes darted in the wall clock, it's 2am in the morning already.

I gently climb down the bed when I saw my Dad sleeping in the floor.

Why didn't he wake me up?

I tapped his shoulder gently and whispered,

"Dad, Dad. Come on get up."

"J-Jen, no, no. It's okay. Go back to sleep, I'm fine here."

He was about to lay down again but I stopped him.

"Dad, I'm going back to my room, please, sleep beside Mom."

"Okay."

While he's fixing the comforter he slept on, I check on my Mom.

Thank god she's not hot anymore, I hope she feels better tomorrow.

"Goodnight, Sweetie. And, there's food in the fridge, you might be hungry now."

"Thanks, Dad."

He kissed me in the forehead before leaving their room when I remember my phone.

Where's my damn phone? I panicked a bit when it's not in my pocket.

It's not with me when I fed Mom, but I had it when I left in my room last night. I must've left it in the kitchen then.

I wonder if Emma texted me. I hope she did.

As I headed to the kitchen, I saw my phone in the counter. I reached for it and immediately checked if there's a message from Emma.

To my dismay, nothing. Even a miscall, nothing.

WTF?

I sat on the dining chair as I felt the familiar pain in my chest.

I don't know what to think anymore, I was planning to eat but I just lost my appetite. Who could eat feeling at this situation.

I stood up and went in my room, I hope I could sleep, I have school tomorrow.

"Ughhhhh!!!" I groaned as I threw my body in the bed. I felt a drop of water in my arm as I do so.

I didn't even notice that I was crying, I guess the numb feeling is there again.

How could she do this to me? Ignored me totally.

I know we had a deal, but don't I deserve an explanation? A valid reason? Is this what she's going to do to me now just because I agreed to that stupid deal?

I took my phone out again and started typing..

But.. No, why would I text her?

I deleted everything and threw my phone in the side table.

I need to sleep, that's what I should do. It's Friday and after today, I could curl up in my bed and cry my eyes out till Sunday.

I fell asleep with Emma in my head.

I woke up with my Mom tapping me in my arm.

"Sweetie, wake up. You didn't eat last night."

I opened my one eye to peek on the wall clock.

"Hmmm.. It's still early, Mom."

As I pulled my comforter till my head, my Mom did the same.
