…He wasn’t moving, I ran inside the room and pushed me and I fell hitting my head on the wall. I woke and saw my husband I wanted to start begging him but I felt a sharp pain in my head. As I touched my head, I felt bandage on it and a drip connected into my hand. I was surprised because I was in the hospital. Anger was written all over his face as he threw a paper at me.

“So this what you have been doing since I was not around. And I know you were doing it before I travelled four weeks ago because you are three weeks pregnant. I was such a fool for trusting and loving you”. He said. I checked the paper and it was a pregnancy test result stating I was pregnant. I quickly remembered I stopped taking the pills I used to take before having sex with John. Oh my God I’m pregnant for John, I said in my mind. And I was crying and begging him to forgive me. And he left me and walked away. After a while of crying I ran out of the hospital, they tried stopping me but somehow I escaped and got into a cab and, he stopped at my gate and I rushed into the house because the gate was open, the cab driver followed me to take his money. And I saw a two police cars and two police men putting handcuffs on my husband and put him into the car. I asked what he did and they told me the murdered John. I rushed inside and saw John still laying flat on the ground with no life in him. I rushed out to meet my husband but the car he was in already left and ambulance came in and took John’s body away. And I was crying bitterly because I lost everything I had.
