Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 24

(At Nathan’s workplace)

Nathan was with Caleb and some other top employees in a meeting when his phone started ringing.

Glancing at the screen, he found out that it was Daniella calling.

Then excusing himself, he stepped aside to quickly take her call. But the next thing that came out of his mouth while he was standing, was a thunderous,

“What!”

Hearing this, all those present at the meeting turned their gaze in his direction.

“Nathan!” His manager called trying to remind him of where he was.

But ignoring him, Nathan quickly dashed out of the hall.

“What insolence!” His manager fumed slamming both clenched palms on the table.

Seeing how he left, Caleb then knew that something was wrong. Then excusing himself, he quickly went after Nathan.

“You too?” The manager asked pointing at Caleb as he dashed out of the hall.

Then turning to the rest of the employees, he asked,

“What in the Devil’s name has gotten into the both of them?”

Running up to Nathan who was about to enter his car, Caleb asked,

“Nathan, what’s wrong? You left the meeting in a hurry. Is everything alright?” He asked trying to catch his breath as he was panting helplessly from running to catch up with Nathan.

“Caleb. My wife and the baby are in danger as we speak” Nathan said.

“What! How? What happened to my, I mean, the baby?” Caleb asked.

Then staring at him for a while, Nathan took a deep breath and responded.

“I will have to take her to the hospital to find out about that” He responded.

“Can I come with you?” Caleb asked.

Hearing this, Nathan stopped and gave him a curious look. Then after a while, he responded.

“Sure. Why not? You are free to tag along if you wish” He said.

“Alright, thanks,” Caleb said quickly walking over to the other side of the car.
