Adebayo pov

I got into my apartment and met my best friend on top of my fiancee.

My heart tumbled and anger were visible on my forehead. They stopped what they are doing when they noticed my presence.

“Please help me Adebayo, I was tied and raped by your friend” she cried out while I look at Steven in an disgus*ting manner.

“Can someone explain to me what is going on here?” I asked with pains in my voice when Steven move closer to me. There were beads of sweat on his forehead and he look angrier.

“You are about to listen to the shockest thing in your life” he replied when my eyes widen in surprise.

“…don’t listen to him Adebayo, I told you in the morning that he wanted to rape me and here he is” Dorcas cut in.

I was loosing my patience and all what I just want to do is to k!ll someone.

Steven noticed my mood and brought out his phone. He played the recordings of him and Dorcas and my mouth widen in shock.

I was angry and had to punch him in his face, he staggered backward while I rained punches at both side of his body.

He retaliated back by kicking my scro*tum.

“She is my babe and she will never be yours” he said spitting out blo*od from his mouth.

“You are a betra’yal, I trusted you as a friend. You knew everything concerning my private life. Why must you planned with a b!tch to betra’y me”. I lamented

“Don’t you know that if someone else life is not ru!ned, another life won’t be better. You are doing better in your business over the years. You have all the cash in the world…but look at me, I am broke after my visit to this country. I needed more money and that was why I used my girlfriend for you, she didn’t wants to cooperate with me, that was why I had to expose her…for you to know her intention” he spat out.

“….you, I clothed you, feed you, gave you more than enough money but what did you do? …what was I even saying? You both planned to robbed me of my wealth. I left my wife for all this, I hope Folakemi forgive me”. I responded and walked out on both of them.

Steven pov

I am now satisfied with the fact that I have my babe to me, no one will snatch her away from me. She was my s….x toy. We did different things to each other body. I missed her body, her scent.

I glanced at Dorcas on the chair still tied to it.

I unzipped my trouser and continue from where I stopped.

My world came crashing right in my face. I have chased my wife away with my impatience behavior. I thought she is the one with the problem not finding out about where the source is from.

Who have I offended that refused to forgive me?

Why is my life this way?

I drove straight to my house and met boluwatife with her kids. It is late at night and the kids have dozed off on the chair.

“Is Folakemi back home?” I asked

“…you mean that wh0re, she didn’t come back home ooo. I wonder the kind of wife you got married to. She no longer live at home and I wonder how she deserves you”.

“If you dare mention another degrading statement over there, I swear down I am going to slap you”. I responded

“You will slap me, have you forgotten how supportive you have been to me over the months. What has came over you brother? Hope you are not bra!nwashed by her again?”. She said while I slapped her hard on the face.

She was shocked and surprised

“You slapped me!

“I will do more if you repeat any degrading statement about her”.

“I now see that you are bra!nwashed, I am going to report you to my mother” she responded and picked her phone.

I didn’t care about her next line of action because Folakemi has been on my mind.

I dialled her number several times but it was switched off.

Does it mean that she has a new place to sleep?

I prayed that I have not lost her to David.

I couldn’t sleep throughout the night and promised to visit David’s house as early as possible in the morning.

Folakemi pov

I woke up in the midnight and saw someone at the entrance of my room.

I screamed out while David rushed at me.

“What happened?” He asked in a worried tone.

“I was scared, I thought it’s someone else”

“I am the person” he responded.

“Why are you standing at the entrance of the door? Don’t you sleep?”.

“I have woken up for over thirty minutes now and decided to check on you before going back to sleep” he responded.

“Why do you care for me alot David? I have hurted you by marrying another person without giving you a chance. Why do I feel that…you will never forget about me?”.

“I don’t understand myself either, I have told you about how I felt around you in the past and how it doesn’t change after all these months. I don’t know if I am possessed or not. I just can’t get over you” he confessed.

“Why don’t we meet earlier? Like…how did fate decided to play me this way?” I asked while two drops of tears slipped down my throat.

He cupped my face in his hands and stare into my eyes.

“Forget about fate now and let’s focus about the Future. I don’t know the right full advice to give you this moment…but I know that, I want the best for you. Do what makes you happy at this point and listen to your heart” he adviced while I caught myself starring at his lips.

“You always look cute you know”. I complimented while he smile removing his hands from my face.

“I always hear this”. He responded

“Should I get you anything?” He asked while is shake my head sideways.

“I don’t need anything, I just want you to stay around me till I fall asleep”

He moved to my side while I throw myself into his arms. I laid my head on his chest while I dozed off.
