Did she mean what she said? Or I was the one hallucinating.

Before I could digest her request, She has pulled me closer for a deep kiss, i quickly removed my lips and tore her hands off my body.

I wanted her, I really do! But I can’t do anything to her because of the state that she is… She is unaware of her situation. I would have loved to fulfill her request…but I couldn’t bring myself to break the promises between us.

She closed her eyes and slept off.

I went downstairs to prepare a meal before she wakes up.

I prepared jollof rice with fried fish and went to shower afterwards.

I ate and relaxed in the sitting room.

It is getting late already and she is not up from her deep slumber.

I decided to check on her and met her yawning, she look sideway and saw me.

“What am I doing here?” She asked in a serious tone.

“Chill babe…come and eat something before explaining anything, your are hungry right? I asked while she nodded her head.

We both went downstairs while she feasted on her food, she is indeed hungry. She couldn’t ask of any questions till she ate the last grain of rice and gulped down the cold water in front of her.

“Should I get you more?”. I asked.

“No, i am okay” she responded

“How did I get to your house…. because the last time I checked, I went into a bar and was unconscious of my action”

“You were drunk, luckily for you, I saw you there and decided to bring you home. I don’t have your home address and your phone is locked”. I calmly explained

“Ohh….yeah! It is always locked for a security purpose. What says the time?”.

“This is six: thirty(6:30pm), you slept alot”.

“I got myself drunk that’s why”.

“What leads you to that?

“Whats wrong with you?

“If not for the fact that I was also there, those guys would have had their ways with you. There are some guys that like seeing vunerable lady like you that they will take advantage of, you shouldn’t do that” I cautioned her.

“…Hmm, I am just tired of this life”.

“Why tired of it…I always know you to be a cheerful lady, what went wrong?”. I calmly asked

“…can I trust you with my secrets”. She asked starring into my eyes.

“You can, what are friends for?”.

“Did you believe that I haven’t slept with my husband all this while”.

“Is this a joke or what? What did you mean that you haven’t sleep with your husband. Is that even possible?”.

“Ever since my wedding night, my husband find it hard to mate with me, his body is not picking up and we are tired of all this” she said bursting into fresh tears while I consoled her.

“It’s okay dear, everything will be alright. Have you guys gone to the hospital?.

“We have been to the hospital several times and couldn’t find any solution to it. I am getting weary every day, it is up to a year in my marriage and I couldn’t enjoy my husband, I felt like a statue in that house. I am tired! I am seriously tired!!.

“You don’t have to give up yet, you will keep trying and I know that the Lord will help you, how are you going to get back home now? Should I drive you back to your house?”. I asked while she shake her head.

“I don’t feel like going anywhere, I need my peace of mind, I don’t longer enjoy myself in that marriage. I hope everything gets resolved before people start questioning me about childbirth.

“Everything will be alright, but how are you going to do it?…you said that you aren’t going anywhere, what about your husband? He will start asking of you and might be worried”. I adviced.

“David, please….can I spend few days with you?”

“Am sorry, you can’t…you are married Folakemi and what did you want people to say? I also wished that you could be with me but not this way. Please resolve the issue between your husband first and stay with him”.

“Don’t you love me again? She asked sounding angry.

“I really do…I still love you like before and your love is not going anywhere. I desired and lust after you like before ..but, I don’t want us to start something that we will both regret”.

“There is nothing to regret here, I just wants to stay with you for few days, is that too much to ask” she angrily said

I move closer to her and patted her back, she looked up and blinked twice.

“Please touch me” she pleaded while i shake my head.

I pounced on her and sucked her lips before pulling off her bra.

I grabbed her two b**B’s and sucked at it while she moaned out loud, I was about to get down with her when Adebayo’s face flashed through my mind. I forcefully pulled myself away from her grip.

it really took alot of courage from leaving her sight.

She noticed my hands off her body when she saw me putting on my clothes.

“What happened?” She asked with disappointment written all over her face.

“Am sorry, I couldn’t do it… I felt guilty”.

“It now showed that you never love me from the start because if you did, you wouldn’t have left me like that… and, I didn’t expect this from you. I asked for a small request and you couldn’t grant it. I am highly disappointed in you and starting from today, you must not call or chat my number again. I will blocked and delete any related issue with you. Do not find me and do not come looking for me” she angrily said and left after wearing her dress.
