I immediately grab the stone, peter started running around the compound like a mad man… peter I can’t believe you are this heartless is this how you treat your brother? No be your fault sha, I blame myself for sharing my story with you…

Peter was still running and laughing and he reminded me what I did to him when he told me he wanted to commit suicide… he said its pay back and now we can start all over again…

I was so tired of everything at this point and I went to my room praying to God and hoping Agnes is not serious about what she said.

AGNES POV

I still find it hard to believe that this guy will have the gut to insult me, can you imagine he told me that he doesn’t talk to some of us in this compound because of the way we gossip him…

Are you serious? My roommate faith asked

Yes oooo, my blood is boiling right now…

I thought you were crushing on him faith said

What kind of talk is that, I was never crushing on him… do you know the number of girls that he brings home? If he’s not careful he will jam spirit one day… but babe, for the insult he gave me I will make sure I arrange guys to beat him up…

While she was still talking I already placed Bobby on call and he promised to deal with him… Bobby is one of those jobless area tout who takes pleasure in intimidating people alongside other jobless guys. He told me I will have to buy them a keg of fresh ‘palm wine’ for the job.

I quickly left the house to buy the palm wine…

I went there and met them smoking and drinking as usual, I purposely decided not to buy the palm wine at a point because I know even if I buy the palm wine there will still demand for money… I went closer to Bobby and gave him the money and he looked at me and said, ‘this your money no plenty, so na half job we go do ooo’

He then ask me why I am always broke, he started telling me how I move about with men and still always broke, at this point I was so angry and started regretting why I even came to him in the first place… I swallowed all my anger and was just standing there smiling like a ‘mumu’… when he finished talking, I excused myself and left them. Immediately I got to a safe distance I started insulting Bobby just to get all the anger out

The next day was Sunday, I was in my room when I had someone crying seriously, he was crying and shouting and I decided to peep and guess what? It was Akor… faith hurry come and see. She came to the window and the two of us went outside and started laughing at him… he didn’t even care if we were watching but continue crying sitting on the ground outside while his friend was begging him to go inside… what kind of man cry this way faith asked and I told her I am also surprise. peter succeeded in convincing him and there went inside while me and faith entered our room too

At about 11:30pm I went to bed and soon I was asleep… I saw a lady walk up to me and yelled ‘how dare you touch the choosen one’ before I could say anything she started flogging me, she was beating me and laughing… she told me that I should summon all the people in the compound and openly apologise to the person I hurt and that she give me 3hours to do that or I will suffer and I should tell them Belial ask me to apologise to Akor… I jerked up and saw all the marks all over my body… I started crying but had to quickly check the time and I saw 12:30am… how am I supposed to wake everyone at this time of the night to apologise? Am I dreaming or what, like what just happened?…
