Not long, my dad came back while I kneel down.

“Welcome my dear, how are your family?”. He asked

“They are all fine sir”.

“That’s good, have your seat because what I want to discuss with you concern everyone including your mum”.

“What’s that dad? ” I asked while mum handed him a glass cup of water.

“It’s about your elder brother introduction. I have planned to visit Folakemi parents for a brief introduction including the both of you before preparing for the introduction party and it will be next week”.

“Ahh my husband, it’s too early. If you want us to visit them for a brief meeting. It should be next year before planning the introduction party” mum interfered.

“I am the head of this house and whatever I say is an order, that is what I want. We are going to her parents place next week, I have informed Adebayo on the phone” he insisted while I and mum shared glances. We have no choice than to accept the old man wish.

David p.o.v

I left my working place to see Folakemi before going to my father’s house.

I met her as usual in the office busy with the system.

“Hi dear” I greeted

“Hello David, what brings you to my office this afternoon?”. she coldly asked without looking up.

“I am visiting my dad today and I think of bringing you along”. I said happily while she dropped whatever she is doing and look up.

“The last time I checked, we are not related to each other. You are only a disturbance to me and we are not in any cordial relationship for me to go with you”.

”i understand you, is it because of work? I will talk to my friend. He will let you go, don’t worry about it”. I sharply replied

“David, let this be the last time that you will come to my office and start disturbing me. If you don’t stop, I am going to resign and work in another firm where you have no control of. I think that will be okay by you” she said in a serious tone while I calmly left.

I drive to the bar along my house street to calm myself down.

I sat down gulping down the red wine when a young lady sit in the seat behind me.

It is no one than Christiana.

“I guess that…fate has it’s way of bringing two Adults together. Who could imagine that you will be here after telling me how busy you were. David, you know that I am a young beautiful lady. I don’t just throw myself to a man anyhow. I can see that after all these years, you are still the gentleman I know you for. I heard that you had a girlfriend then. Where is she?”. She asked while I coldly look into her eyes.

“I don’t know the time that you turn yourself to a private investigator, monitoring and asking me irrelevant questions about my life. Are you that jobless? The fact that you lack manners then.. hasn’t change a bit and you still keep displaying your stupidity here. What is your problem? Let this be the last time that you are going to ask me irrelevant questions or else…what I am going to do to you won’t be good” I threatened while she laughed out hard.

“What’s funny?”.

“What makes me laughing is your stubbornness about another person’s fiancee. I heard that her name is Folakemi and I have seen her picture. I viewed and zoomed into her pictures and couldn’t find what is special in her. Some men can be bli*nd sometimes fighting over what Is not theirs. Hmm, what did I Know?” She sarcastically said

I got angry and grabbed her two collars.

“Listen woman! If you don’t stop any private investigation about me, you will be dealth with” I said in fury while other people in the bar get frightened.

She smile while I let go of her. I left the place in anger.

Christiana p.o.v

“Wow, he got so angry when I mentioned her name. How funny. I may look calm but what is inside me is hell.

I placed a call to the strange number on my phone.

“Thanks for the investigation, I have gotten his home address and the lady’s information is with me. Bye”.

You all keep wondering why I keep disturbing David……

Adebayo p.o.v

My mum placed a call to me in the evening, insisting to see Folakemi in the next two days.

I drove to her office to pick her up,

Along the way, I informed her about my parents visit to her place.

She jumped at me while I cautioned her about being on the street, she is all smiles and i am more in love with her.

I dropped her off at her father’s gate while she went in.

Folakemi p.o.v

I can’t contain my joy when I heard about the good news from bayo.

That means that I will soon be married, people like David will stop disturbing me at least. My dad will be the first person to hear about the news.

I quickly walk to the sitting room and met the old man pressing his big phone.

“Good evening dad” I greeted

“Welcome home my daughter” he replied

“Dad, I have good news for you”.

“What’s that dear?”.

“Adebayo’s parents are coming here next week”.

“Wow! That’s a good news, at last, my child will soon be getting married. Come here, come here, come here”. He said while I sit beside him.

“That is what I am saying all these while, you are now doing what I want. Have you tell your sister about it?”.

“No dad, you are the first person to hear about it”.

“Let her know on time. This is a great news, my daughter is finally getting married. Your younger brother is still in school, he said that they have some exam to complete”.

“Yes dad”.

“That’s my good girl, you don’t need to stress yourself today. I will be the one to cook” he excitedly said while I laughed out hard.

“Why will you cook for me dad…when I am here”.

“I mean it dear” he said and walk into the kitchen.

I can’t contain my emotion as I burst into laughter. It is good seeing him happy. I felt fulfilled….
