What a strange world… A man can’t even be safe in his own house… What a tradegy..

The death of Uthman had spread out through out Marida but turns out most people were happy for his demise but they never showed it… A warrant was given for the hunt of the murderer… Poor Faidh.. He was so sad to his nephew killed in this brutal manner… He swore to skin the murderer if he ever found him .

But that is not a matter of concern because the Sultan is back and he wasn’t looking too good. He hasn’t talked to anyone not even his wives.. I don’t know what’s going on in his mind but I was starting to fear this situation.

So one evening, I went to the Sultan’s chamber to discuss the matters of the kingdom with him.. People were still restless over the virgin sacrifice and with the way the economy is now, their lives was getting miserable everyday. As I arrived at his chamber, I saw him together with Karim.

Abdul Your Highness..

Mustapha Abdul.. What brings you here?

Abdul I’m here to talk to you about the state of affairs.. Your people are restless, they’re still saddened by the Virgin sacrifice.. While you were away, They almost stormed the palace. And the economy is making things worst.. People are leaving Marida for other places…

Mustapha By the gods.. Everything is just getting more and more complicated.

Karim But we can solve this matter… All we have to do is make things better, we start by….

Mustapha Enough! There’s something I want to talk to you about.

Abdul We’re listening your highness.

Mustapha I’ve been hearing rumors that the Princes aren’t mine…

Abdul Aren’t yours? I don’t understand?

Karim (shocked) Impossible!? But it does make sense… If the queens were seeing someone we’d know already… Besides its just a rumor.

Mustapha But not all rumors are tell tales..
