Ngozi replied.

Hauwa felt moist inside and was curious about Segun more than ever.

Ngozi was also a machine and had her own stories. One time a boy had fainted in her room as she rode him close to the border of life and death. She thought he had died as he took some enhancement drugs but Ngozi was too much for him. If Ngozi could confess of Segun’s power, then Segun was actually powerful.

One evening Segun was sitting outside as the weather was a bit hot. Hauwa looked at him closely as she was also out for some breeze. He caught her looking and smiled.

Hauwa quickly looked away, he should not have seen that.

“Segun, sorry I took Indomiè, I was hungry and your girlfriend was rude” Hauwa said to control the damage.

“It’s okay dear, how was that quiz the other day?”

“It went well”

“Okay good”, Segun said finally.

Somewhere down the corridor, Ngozi cleared her throat.

Segun looked up and smiled. He remembered her screams.

“Segun, how far na?”

Ngozi asked.

“I dey oo”

“You fit help me come kîll spider for my room?”

“You no fit kîll spider at this age?”

“I dey fear am”

Ngozi said as Segun hisse and followed her to her room.

Hauwa exchanged glances with Kenneth as they all knew there was no spider and Ngozi was just looking to kîll conji.

“Hope say this spider no go shout before him die?”

Kenneth said and quickly coughed.

“Omo crazy things are happening, where you don see where dem lock door to kîll spider?”

Haiwa asked laughing.
