Sitting on a white cushion in one of the numerous parlour in the Luther’s suite….

Sir Leonard was busy typing non stop on his phone…

He’s face contour with a frown,as he type furiously on his phone…

I was just gazing at the interior of the parlour…

It looks magnificent….

Every property in the upstairs parlour was just white and spotless…

Though Sir Leonard don’t allow any soul inside this parlour…

But I’m just glad to be sitted on one of the luxurious expensive cushion…

Family portrait was hung graciously on the wall….

After feeding my eyes with what it’s want to see ….

I returned my look back to Sir Leonard…

This time around,he was just looking at me…

Sorry,,sort of checking me out….

Kiran came down from my laps and ran out to God knows where….

Well,,,my kids knows every crook about this suite….

So I don’t have a problem, leaving them to play as they wish…

Sir Leonard cleared his throat, bringing me out of my trance…

“Nora right??”

“Yes sir” I answered…

Though not knowing the main reason for this call…

“So???”he looked at me with a creased brow…

I comported myself….

Ready to listen to what he will say….

“I will say,,,, you did a very great job on my son Ronald.”he paused and reply a message on his phone before continuing his talk….

“My son isn’t the the person that apologize….

He isn’t the type that talk to his step mother and brother…

He isn’t the type that smile….

He hardly visit this suite….

But just only one person that changed him….

The person change my son from bad to good….

She changed him despite knowing who he was….

She also wasn’t moved by his father’s taunt and abusive words…

She still decide to make sure that my son, Ronald is in a little talking term with his father”. He smiled,which was rare….

I gulped in my saliva,,, though vibrating inside of me…

Wait,,,,the father taunt and abusive words….

Was he indirectly referring to me???…

You, Nora did a great job in taming my son Ronald” he dropped the shell …

I don’t know how it happened…

But I saw myself squealing like a child….

“Ronald,is now in talking terms with his mother” I asked happily….

“Yes”he nodded with a smile….

Does he mean,that he now like me….

“I thought Ronald will live a cold hearted man forever,,I did not know that a mere kid will change my son. Keep it up,,, whatever charm you used on him, hold tight to that charm.”he paused and gave me a thumb up….

“I have been a bad father, right from the day Ronald mother died… I tried adjusting,but my ego won’t let me.. I just pray, Ronald will be a good father to his little kids,I pray he won’t follow my footsteps. Just take care of my son.

I won’t apologize for my abusive words on you….

I will only approve my son to take you as his woman…

And your duty is to take care of my son and grandson kids….

I will be traveling back to Dubai,but before I travel….

I have a appreciative gift for you….”he picked a paper that was lying beside him and stretch it to me….

Collecting the paper from him …

I gasp at what was written there….

“I know it’s too little,,, but just hold on that, till you I’m back from Dubai… I will then give you the main gift.” He uttered and I shook my head….

“Oh no sir, this is surely too much for me.. I …I….” I ran out of words as tears roll down my eye….

He smiled and stood up,

Patting my back…

“Thank you Nora, and keep up your good works” he gave me one last look before leaving….

I sat still

My teary eye,glued on the check given to me…

“Fifty million Naira”was signed by him, sir Leonard….

Won’t this money do a huge thing to my family….

Even paying back Ronald….

I smiled out tears…

“God will bless you sir Leonard” I muttered tearily….

As I stepped out of the parlour….

I met Mrs Maranatha outside, waiting for me patiently…

She smiled on seeing me….

“Did my husband said any hurtful words to you???”she asked seeing me in tears…

I shook my head negatively…

“I’m just happy ma’am…I ..I ..did n…not expect the.. things to turn out like this”I stuttered before hugging her….

“I thought he will scold me,,but it turns out, he likes me and… And…. He .. he gave me this”I showed her the check…

“The money is so much for me”I cried out….

She shook her head before cleaning my tears with her thumb…

“You just did what,we can’t do in years…. It’s just a little token dear… I haven’t even given you mine,who knows what your reaction will be when I show you what I got for you” she uttered and I laughed heartily…

“I might faint from too much joy” I reply back….

She hugged me again…

“Thank you so much my child…you really tried for our family”she cooed…

I wanted to reply,but felt a little hand hugging my legs….

“Mama..”my Kylie called happily….

I slowly disengage from the hug…

And picked my son, carrying him in my arms….

He began peppering my face with kisses…

Awwn, such a lovely boy…

“Mama I miss you”he pouted and kissed my nose…

“Hey little man stop that… Are you trying to snatch my woman away from me??” Ronald interrupted our moment…

He hugged his mom and pecked her on her cheeks…

“I have been looking for you mom” he said shocking the both of us….

“Mom….”Mrs Maranatha stammered….

Ronald gave a one sided laugh….

“Yh,,mom.. don’t you like the name”he asked and I slapped his arm….

“Ouch! Baby”he groan….

“ERM…I just decide to let bygone be bygone…. You’re my mom and will forever be my mom.. I’m sorry for neglecting you and my brother..I promise to be a good son”….

Mrs Maranatha quickly hug Ronald….

Tears streaming down her eye…

“It’s okay my boy,,,,I have long been waiting for this day to come….and I thank God for fulfilling my everyday prayer request”she said with a hoarse voice….

Ronald hugged her back….

Awwwn,,, is the hug for me….

Kylie giggled pointing at his papa….

“Mama,,papa is hugging big mama”he laughed… Though referring to Mrs Maranatha as big mama…

“Yes my boy…. Papa is hugging his mother, and it’s surely a good thing”I whispered the last part with a smile….

“I’m I missing something”Daniel interrupt the moment….

“Uncle”Kylie ran down my arm and race towards Daniel …

“Yo…yo…don’t fall kiddo”he said as Kylie threw himself on him…

By then Ronald had disengage the hug…

He smiled at Daniel before facing me…

“Today will be just us, teaching you how to drive a car, and other things you want to know, because I know my Nora is a curious little cat”….

I laughed at his words….

Yes I have to know somethings like those three(3) days I was locked….

What happened….

Did Ronald accept the drug proposal….

What result to Ronald finally accepting his mother and brother…

“Should I tag along brother” Daniel asked….

“Yes of course little bro”. Ronald replied with hands hug across his shoulder…

“We need to make up our brother hood”he whispered to Daniels ear,which I heard….

And they began walking away,,, leaving me behind….

“Let me go and bath”I said to Mrs Maranatha after some silence….

She nodded at me,her face red with happiness….

I began leaving when one of the maid walking at the hallway, decided to show me the way to my room…

I’m not only happy,but also surprised at how things turn out to be….

Ronald have decided to leave from his past….

Just look at the way,he hugged his mom and shoulder cross his brother…..

Daniel really deserved it….

They have to make up their brother hood….

I’m just so so happy…

And I pray my cheeks won’t tear from too much laugh….

But wait oooo….

What about Chioma….

I haven’t heard from her …
