Eight (8) days later….

I was discharged from the hospital after my two son’s circumcision….

Not much people visited me at the hospital…

Only my neighbors and other people that I don’t know about….

Ronald was eager to take us home….

According to him,, he had a party to throw at home….

A welcoming party though….

As we drive down the street…

I was happy at least I’m now free and free from hospital smells…

Ronald drive with Kiran on his left arm….

While I seat beside him with Kylie….

Let me tell you little things about my two little treasures,,,Kiran and Kylie….

Kiran and Kylie are really identical,that you can hardly differentiate who is who….

If not for Ronald’s idea of identifying them with their wrists bands,,,I would have mistook them…

Unlike Sofia and Sonia,my little sisters who are fraternal twins…

Kiran is a noisy type,he loves food and love being cuddle…

He always want the warmth of his parents especially me his mother…

He cry whenever he’s hungry….

He’s face is always serious just like his dad,,but sometimes smiles and showcasing his deep dimple …..

Kylie is just a gentle and loving little quiet boy….

He hardly cry,,,but whenever he do so is when he is hungry….

He prefer being laid on the bed than cuddling….

He smile at any given time,unlike he’s brother Kiran who’s always serious…

He’s dimples is one in a million….

Kylie is always a momma boy, he prefers being with me than his daddy….

He’s just an understanding little baby…

My little boys are the exact carbon copy of Ronald….

But the difference is,,,they took my fair skin….

But that of Ronald is chocolate….

I’m just happy that I had a child I mean kids with Ronald….

He’s a definition of Father material….

On reaching our apartment….

We were welcome with crowd of people…

People I haven’t seen before….

They were dress casually…

Music playing in the background…

They seems like discussing about something,until they notice our presence and everyone one pause….

But wait oooo,,who have them the key to our apartment…

Some of my neighbors were there too…

“Welcome Boss, welcome Boss lady” they greeted casually…

Woah…who are they???

Boss??,,is Ronald really their Boss

What business do they share….

I simply smiled at them,before taking a seat…

One of them took sleepy Kylie from me…

And they all gushed at his cuteness…

They were all happy, muttering some words that I wished my ears were a bit longer ….

As the party

started,,everywhere was booming…

Drinks and snacks were served…

And so many of Ronald’s business partners gave out huge money for the support of my little treasures….

I became startled at the prices they all mentioned…

But one thing is always on my mind..

What business is Ronald into,,that made people to address him like a Boss…

As they party was getting to an end…

A lady sat beside me with a smile plastered on her face …

Maybe a fake smile though….

“You must be happy that Ronald is yours..and you guys already share a two lovely little souls. But one question is still lingering on my mind, How the hell do you get Ronald. What charm do you use on him??, Is it this?”she pause and point on my body.” That you use on him or is their any alternative”…

I was already boiling at how she was addressing me…

Who is she to come out and be asking rubbish questions…

I looked around and couldn’t find Ronald….

“I’m asking you a question bitch” she snarled…

My brows furrowed at her English accent…

She speaks like a foreigner…

Who’s a bitch,,me or she???

“Can’t you be less shameless for once in your wasted life” I sneered.” Look at you,,who do you think you are to come and ask me questions that is meant for the God’s…”I asked back…

She gritted her teeth in anger,before masking it with her fake stupid smile…

“Well,I don’t argue less. Ronald isn’t yours yet. He can’t still jilt you for another fresh babe. Enjoy your stay with Ronald while it last” she stood up with her pause clung at her arm.” And least I forget, congratulations for being Ronald’s baby mama…another person will soon take your position as he’s rightfully wedded wife” she said while high pointing the word WIFE…..

She catwalked off leaving me in a deep trance…

Who’s she….

Her word really struck me….

Ronald can’t be mine…

I’m nothing but his baby mama…

Will he really marry another lady…

I…I… Gosh….

Throughout the party,I just stayed at my room in a deep thought…

I couldn’t come outside to face anybody,,not even Ronald…

The unknown lady must be right….

I can’t have Ronald…

He can’t marry a sixteen (16) year old girl like me….

He’s too matured for a little girl like me….

I’m nothing but he’s baby mama…

But come to think of it,,Ronald really Adore his babies than me…

He’s only care was because I was pregnant with his babies…

I slapped myself mentally,,I have to confirm by myself….

I have to ask the question I have been dieing to hear ..

And I wish to hear his answer…

After the party,,I decided to clean up the house….

Ronald was inside tucking Kylie and Kiran to sleep…

The word of that lady was still bothering me….

Since the party ended,he haven’t talked or smile at me…

He was all serious,and I don’t know what caused this seriousness of his ….

Unlike when we were coming back from the hospital…

Ronald walked pass me to the varanda…

And that’s where he was till I finished with the cleaning and arrangement…

I had my night bath,and was ready to meet and talk to Ronald about us….

Ronald was sitted on his favorite seat,, smoking at interval….

Wait !!… Ronald smoke???….

Like seriously,, Ronald is a smoker and I don’t know about it….

How can I, when I don’t know much about this man…

He was just glaring at the moon, like it’s something annoying

The way his lips wrap round the stick,made me wet….

God!!when will this man be mine….

I bit my lips before walking up to him….

“Ro… Ronny” I stuttered with a gulp…

He stare at me before diverting his gaze back to the moon…

Gosh….this he’s serious face can be scary….

“Ronny,,I wanna ask a question”I said after much hesitation…..

He puffed out some smoke, before facing me..

“Be quick colla…I’m so busy right now” he gnarled….

Busy,,,busy with smoking???

“Do you love me Ronny…I…I…”.I paused and watched his expression….

” I know you will surely ask this question and I will like to clear your mind…I don’t love you colla… you’re only my baby mama and mostly my COLLATERAL. So kill any romantic feelings you have about me, because it’s not gonna work” he stated and my jaw drop

Ronald don’t love me,,,and I fell head over hills for Him…

I’m just his baby Mama….

His collateral….

Tears brim.at the corner of my eye….

His words really hurt…

And that lady is right about what she said….

Ronald will leave me for another woman...

“O…ok.. good night” I muttered with a hoarse voice before running inside….

He shouldn’t have be blunt with the answer….

It truly hurt….I’m his COLLATERAL….

What business do he have with my mama…
