Things sure turned out unexpectedly that night in Mr. Andrew’s mansion; First, despite how elegant the sale was nobody bought anything, the Antique sale ended in nothing but a display shoe for the guests and the second unexpected thing that happened was the capture and explosion of Mr. Greg as the painting thief.

After Greg had been knocked out cold, I carried him up following Lisa steadily as we went into the mansion, But as it turns out, We weren’t the only ones that knew about Greg’s secret.

Rebecca and Gwen together with the two detectives whom I called last night had apprehended Greg’s daughter and were about to capture Mr. Greg only to realize he was missing.

Lisa had told her cousin and sister how I had freed and saved her from danger, She went on and on exaggerating a little bit on the story polishing me in front of everyone has a hero.

After that, We all headed into the exhibition room and dropped the bomb. Mr. Andrews wasn’t pleased to see me and demanded that I leave his presence but the detectives explained things to him and he was shocked when he realized he was about to been conned of millions of pounds.

Just like she promised, Lisa handled her dad beautiful exaggerating about how I saved her from the Mr. Greg’s mansion and how I saved his paintings from being stolen. The old man said nothing, he just stood still and walked away silently feeling a little bothered.

Minutes later after Mr. Greg’s shady act had been brought to light, The police came and arrested the man and daughter taking them away, The press also came but they stood outside the mansion waiting for Mr. Andrew’s permission to get in, It’s rare to see presses gathering about on a small matter especially with people like us who have nothing but when it comes to big men like Mr. Greg, the b-stards drawn like flies in a shit pile .

Once the press got the picture and tape of Mr. Greg and his daughter, it didn’t take long before the news had gone all over and around London and the heading of the report of the rich man and his daughter was RICH FAMILY OF PAINTING THIEVES, it was printed in Bold so that even a blind man could see it clearly. I felt sorry for the man cause this would scar his family for a very long time and anywhere they went to, People will refer to them as that, Death is better than living a life of humiliation and disgrace.

2 hours later, Andrew’s mansion was less crowded than it was, The Antique sale was over and the only people in the house were the lovette family members and I.

While I saw sitting alone silently, Mr. Andrews and his wife Moníqué approached me taking their seat opposite me, after they were both seated, the lady of the house began showing her gratitude.

Moníqué Merci Tobi Mingati.. Thanks to your bravery, you’ve saved my daughter and my husband’s most valuable collection.

Tobi You’re welcome but I can’t take all the credit, Rebecca was the one who started all this.. If it weren’t for her Mr. Greg wouldn’t have been exposed.

Moníqué But still you played a part in all this… Thank you very much. If there’s anything you ever need.. Just let me know.

Moníqué Okay then.. I’ll leave you two alone… My Husband has something he wants to say to you.

After that, Lisa’s mom left leaving me and Andrews alone. We stared at each other for while without saying anything ; The man’s reaction was quite obvious, it was like he didn’t want to be here close to me, He looked away mumbling silently, He even tried to go away but he sat transfixed where he was and took a deep breath before speaking out her mind.

Andrew I still don’t like you.. You’re black and Blacks are inferior! From the first day I heard you were with my sister.. I resented you so much I wished you could just die.

Our family’s blood is special and unique, It’s a blood of wealth and power and for Generations, our bloodline has been fusing and mixing with other special bloodlines.. But we just can’t have an inferior blood in our family tree.

But that being said, After I heard what you did, I must admit it was pretty bold and daring.. Even in the face of humongous fortune, you still chose my daughter over everything else and if I’m correct you said there was no price for you love for her.

I may be a racist but I’m not stupid to appreciate a good deed when I see one, To be honest, I never expected you to go through all this despite my resentments towards you, It seems that I’ve misjudged you and I was wrong about you… I’m sorry.

I never expected to this mean old man to apologize but still I respect the fact that he admitted his wrongs and apologized, This showed that there’s a brain in his skull.

Tobi It’s alright sir.. I’m also sorry if I caused any problems for you as well. I know you don’t like my relationship with your daughter but I love her.

Andrew I understand!! Your actions speaks for you. Your feelings for my daughter is genuine and as much as I hate to say this.. I have no more rejections with your relationship with my daughter.. If there’s anything you need, Just let me know but let me warn you.. If you do anything that hurts her feelings or make her sad.. I’ll make you suffer in ways you can imagine?
