Damilare's POV

“Am damilare and I should be the one asking who you are?!” I yelled to the strange guy holding Billie’s door.

“Am sorry but I think you got the wrong room.” He replied trying to close the door which I forced open.

Surprisingly I saw Billie sleeping on the bed almost half naked.

What’s going on? Why is billie in a bed with another guy.

“What the hell did you do to her.” I clenched my fist tight and punched him, he fell to the floor from the force of my punch

“Oh my gosh!” he said holding his busted lips as he winced in pain.

“Damilare!” She exclaimed sighting me.

Billie's POV

“Damilare!” I said suprised sighting him from my sleep.

“Ohh, I get it now, you must be her boyfriend.” Jide said putting on his clothes. “Am sorry for this but I hope you won’t break up cus of me, and the punch, I know you are probably angry but it’s not entirely my fault cus she begged me for it, she begged me for sex.”

“What?!” Damilare exclaimed. “Billie is this true?”

“Bye.” He said and leaves, slamming the door on us.

“What are you doing here damilare?” I asked still surprised to see himm

“Does that really matter? Billie what’s this?” He said disappointed.

“Am.. I.. don’t..” I stuttered trying to cover myself up.

“Oh God, this is the first time I will say this am really disappointed by your actions, I mean it’s only been a week since you resumed school.”

“Damilare you don’t understand..”

“Pls make me understand.” He said dripping down tears. “Why, why would you do this, is it because you love him? I really don’t understand.” He said crying and fell to his knees.

For hours we stood frozen in silence, till I decided to break the silence.

“Damilare why are you here? You didn’t tell me you were be coming.”

“Have gotten admission, and I thought I should suprise you with a visit.”

“Wow congratulations, which university?”

“The same University u are admitted to.”

“Are you for real?” I said excited.

“Billie I still don’t understand why you would stoop so low to beg a guy for sex, do you love him that much.”

I knew he would ask again and now I have no choice but to tell him.

“it’s not that I love him, infact I don’t love him, I couldn’t have cus I met him yesterday.”

“Wait, wait, you met him yesterday?” He asked confused.

“Yes.”

“And you let him sleep with you?”

“Yes, that’s because it’s all have ever been curious about, damilare you don’t know how hard it is, everyday I live in a hell fashioned by my parents, I had no friends except for you, I dare not go out alone, I was deprived of all my rights as a teenager.” I said crying.

But it was the truth, I wasn’t given my own freedom, it’s all have ever wanted.

Just a taste, just to know how sweet it taste.

“So? Does that warrant this? U just gave yourself to a guy you don’t even know, a guy you met for the first time.”

“Well, I don’t regret it, what’s so special in this virginity, infact I deliberately did this cus of my parents, I want to know if they notice the difference in me, I want to know why they never cared, I want to know why they treated me different from others.”

“Billie why would you do such to your parents?” He moved closer to me.

“Cus I hate them, I hated every moments I spent with them, u don’t know how happy I am I left home.”

“And you think what you did was right? Your parents might have treated you wrong but they were right about one thing a woman’s pride is her virginity, Billie you are wrong this time cus the guy you sold yourself cheaply to won’t know about your plights instead he will take advantage of it, he will use it to his advantage I thought you were smart, but I guess you aren’t.”

And with those very words I knew I had made a mistake, I shouldn’t have done it, I shouldn’t have lose my virginity to the wrong guy.

Mama was right, my virginity is my pride, but it’s gone now.
