This Is Fate - S01 E42

We start the episode with Akshay’s mother exclaims how she has had enough because she thought that it is the matter of the children however she would not remain quiet because Sarla has come and scolded her son which she cannot accept, Sarla explains how she is just trying to explain how her daughter is not of such low character and would never do anything.

Akshay explains how Shrishti has questioned his character and when he is marrying Kritika she would come close to him and has even hugged him in public, he knows that it is a common practice however she came really close to him and even said Hi to him which he has not replied,

Shrishti immediately tries to explain that she said Hi to him because he said that he would send the invitation card and even hugged him but it was not the case, Karina refuses to listen anything saying how she understands what they both have tried to sabotage the relation of Kritika as Shrishti had started to like Akshay and she knows that Preeta has always deceived them as she even married Karan with deceiving him.

Preeta explains that Karina is wrong because Akshay is really not an honest person and it is just not for Shristhi but also for Kritika, Karan asks Karina to wait and let everyone go after which they would talk, Rakhi also says that Karan and Preeta are talking the truth because the matter is about Kritika and Akshay and she is making the discussion about someone else, Karina says that she should say something to Preeta at which Dadi also says that she is thinking like Karina and feels Preeta tried to break the relation of Kritika and Akshay because she has desired to get Shristhi married to Akshay.

Sarla pleads with Dadi to not say the same thing because she is the elder of the house and has known both of her daughters for a lot time and knows that they cannot do anything of the sort as she has not raised them with such character, Kritika gets mad pleading with them all to stop talking because their words have caused so pain to her because she knows Preeta and also Akshay.

Dadi asks her to not say this as Shristhi herself accepted that she hugged Akshay, Sarla asks how can their thinking be so low as their families have been joined before and her daughter is their daughter in law even then they are questioning them, they have chosen to believe Akshay’s family more than her and if someone hugs another person does it mean that she desires to marry that person, Sarla asks them to say if they feel the same then she would accept it is the fault of her daughter.

Sarla starts crying when Preeta and Shrishti come to her explaining how she should stop crying because it not a matter to worry about, Sarla explains how she came to give a lot of blessings to the daughter of their house but what has happened ruined everything so she is leaving as she cannot give anymore blessings and leaves, Karan asks them to wait as he would come back after dropping Sarla after which they would continue the discussion.

Sarla asks Shristhi to call the auto when Karan comes from behind and hugs Sarla asking why is she worrying so much, Sarla explains that they were questioning Shrishti when karan explains how it should not matter what they think of Shristhi because he is also their family and the only thinks that matters is what they think of Shristhi and he knows she can never do anything of the sort, Shristhi also explains how she has not done anything and hugs Karan, after which he explains that they have become such a big family and sometimes in such families misunderstandings are created so there is nothing to worry about, he is adamant to leave them when Sarla asks him to wait while he talks with Preeta.

Sarla then turning to Preeta asks her why she took such a step when she warned her to not do anything that causes problems for them because she knew that the Luthra family would only question her and not believe anything that they say. Sarla mentions how she never wanted to say so much but was not able to resist, Preeta hugs Sarla when she asks her to take every step after due consideration as she would be questioned and if anyone raise a voice against them as a family then she would never talk with them and Sarla leaves with Karan.

Mahira is trying to convince Ramona about what Preeta has done saying that she bribed the girl which caused the problems for her when Sherlin comes and is adamant to talk with Ramona, she explains how she and Mahira made Preeta feel that Akshay is really a dishonest person but this caused problems for Preeta,

Ramona asks them to think about what benefit would Preeta gain from this situation when she explains how Preeta would never get Shristhi married to him even when she knows about his truth but it means that Akshay has bribed the girl to speak against Preeta because then her reputation would be ruined and no one would believe her so she will not be able to do anything, Ramona asks them to end the call as someone has come at the door, Mahira mentions that Akshay is really smart and has ruined the reputation of Preeta.

Preeta is at the house when Akshay comes to her, she asks what he is doing when he says that Sameer was coming to talk with Shristhi when Karina stopped him so he came to her, Preeta asks him to watch what he is doing because she would not him ruin the reputation of her sister as she knows about his truth, Akshay explains how there is a quote and it narrates that if she tries to ruin his house then it would also burn her own house so he asks Preeta to understand what he is saying.

Preeta enters the house when the guests are blaming her saying how they would not have bared such a wrong act, Akshay comes mentioning how he is grateful that they have trusted him because if they would have believed the accusations against his character then it would have ruined his life, he explains how he is grateful to the girl who spoke the truth even when Preeta bribed her so she was able to save his reputation, Akshay says that he would now leave and then thinks that even when she tried to reveal his truth she was not able to and now has been embarrassed, Akshay turns to leave when Karina stops him and he thinks how everything is going as planned.

Karina comes to Akshay saying how she feels he is her son; she turns to Rakhi explaining how she warned Preeta to not do anything wrong in any of the function and if she has made a mistake then should also apologize, Dadi also asks her to apologize, Karina scolds Preeta ordering her to apologize.

Karina asks Preeta to apologize to Akshay however she exclaims how she saw him with her own eyes, Akshay explains how there is no need because the Luthra family has given him so much love and if she can give him anything then should just give him some of her trust while she should also ask her sister to think of him as he only desires to marry Kritika, Akshay’s mother also comes saying how she doesnot have any wrong feelings for Preeta as she is just like her daughter and does she also think that there is some misconception about Akshay.

Kritika comes to Preeta, she after hugging her pleads how she should forget everything that has happened because it would only create problems and with time, she would understand that whatever she has done should not have happened, they then leave and the entire Luthra family also leaves Preeta, Sameer is also not able to meet Preeta because of the fear of Karina which worries Preeta as she doesnot know what to do.

karan drops off Sarla and the family, he asks Janki to take care of both Sarla and Shristhi as they both are emotional and need attention, Shristhi thanks Karan for trusting her when he mentions how he would always trust her, Sarla also asks Karan to always be at the side of Preeta when he says that if she is right then he would always be at her side, Karan gets out of the car wondering why Preeta always refuses to listen to his words because he doesnot feel right when anyone scolds her.

Preeta thinks how Karan would be really angry because she did not listen to his words so he would be really angry.

Rakhi is talking with Mahesh explaining how he was not able to do anything to protect the honour of Preeta when everyone was accusing her, she explains how she feels that Preeta cannot be wrong as she has a good and honest character and never takes any step against a person so would not be at fault, Preeta enters the room and hears the entire conversation however Rakhi doesnot know that she is standing behind her, Preeta is not able to bear her words so places her hand on her shoulder.

Rakhi stands up explaining how she was talking to her Mahesh papa, she exclaims how Preeta is aware that she along with her Mahesh Papa and the entire family love her even then Karina scolded her in front of everyone however she was not able to stand against Karina and Dadi for which she is apologizing for not being able to do anything as she felt that her mind had become stunned.

Rakhi explains how she feels Preeta is mistaken about Akshay because his relation with Kritika was arranged well before time so why would he do such an action because she feels that there is nothing wrong with him, Rakhi then mentions how she knows that if Preeta is looking into the matter then there is something wrong an she would have also done the same thing however as a mother wants to advise her to always be careful before making a decision and never rush into matter as she doesnot want that Preeta be accused again for a crime which she did not commit.

Shristhi is sitting in the house, Janki brings milk for her when Sarla comes to sit with her, Shrishti explains how she is thinking that Akshay spoke lies about her and everyone in the Luthra family believed his lies, she asks if a hug of a girl means that the girl loves the boy which is not the case, she starts crying when Sarla hugs her explaining how she knows what Shrishti is capable of and that she Is her strong daughter so should not worry because even if the entire world is against her even then she would be with her.

Sarla mentions how she is worried because Shristhi is with her in her house however Preeta is living in the Luthra house and has to fulfil all the relations which is why she is worried because if she is once again not trusted because of what she has done then it would create a lot of problems because their relation as a husband and wife was mended with such hurdles however if she is once again misunderstood because of what happens then it would create a lot of problems, Shristhi asks why is she thinking like this, Sarla exclaims how she is forced to even when Karan assured her with such love but she is worried, she then prays for both karan and Preeta then asks Shristhi to drink the milk.

Preeta is correcting the bed when Karan comes, she asks him why it took so late and he explains how it was because of the traffic when Preeta asks if he is angry with her to which Karan replies that he is not angry however disappointed with her.

Shrishti is crying in her room thinking of the blame which Akshay placed on her however then she gets a call from Sameer, explaining how she desired to talk with him he asks her to open the window then when he comes in she immediately hugs him, he asks what is wrong and why is she crying because they all know she is not capable of such an action to which Shristhi explains that she doesnot care what everyone else thinks of her when her family knows what she is capable of so she is not worried.

Shristhi explains how she is really angry band the matter has become personal because Akshay has challenged her character which she cannot bear so now would fight and search for the proof against him till the time that she is able to gather solid proof against him. Sameer also vows to stand with her then they both call Preeta asking what she is doing in the morning, Preeta exclaims how she would gather proof against Akshay as he has targeted her sister which she cannot bear, she further exclaims how she would be careful to the extent that it doesnot cause problems in her relationship with Karan and the Luthra family.
