This Is Fate - S01 E40

We start the episode with Rakhi comes asking if they are not answering the call to which Karina mentions that they have not yet answered but finally when they answer Karina invites them to the cocktail party to which Akshay’s parents say how they have not been drinking so what would they do in the party,

Karina exclaims how they have to enjoy even if they do not drink, Rakhi asks Karina to place the mobile on the speaker and when he also does the same then she invites them to the party exclaiming that they also have to enjoy the functions of the children, Akshay taking the mobile exclaims how he has been touched by her words so assures them of their presence in the party.

Karina exclaims how she should leave to decide what she must wear, Rakhi thinks of also inviting Sarla, she calls her exclaiming how she is upset because Sarla did not come to the Jhago Rasm so should come to the cocktail party, Sarla responds how she and Janki are going out of town because there is a Pooja and function at one of their relatives so she would not be able to come in the party, Rakhi explains how she would have to come and should come even if she is late which forces Sarla to accept her requests and says that she would come even if she is a little late.

Shrishti explains that they would not let Akshay back out from what they have taken as proof, Sameer asks them to show him the proof but when Preeta takes out her mobile she is shocked and asks Shrishti if she has send the photos because there is nothing of the sort in her mobile, Shrishti exclaims how Akshay is really smart and so has deleted the photos even before they were received in her mobile,

Shrishti asks Preeta to not worry as they would make him reveal the truth in front of everyone, Preeta inquires what she meant, Shristhi explains how they would give him the truth serum just as they gave to Mahira, Sameer exclaims how it is very dangerous, Preeta responds how Akshay is also really dangerous and they would have to fight with him using any means necessary.

Akshay along with his family arrive at the party, he after meeting with Karina and Rakhi goes straight to Kritika. Rakhi responds how they younger generation doesnot waste any time which is why he went straight to Kritika.

Dadi exclaims to Karina how she desires to dance, Karina also mentions how she should dance without any worry as it is Kritika’s wedding, Akshay’s mother also mentions how she has prepared the dance with her husband and they are also Punjabi so can dance.

Akshay’s compliments Kritika on her beauty, Sameer standing in the corner thinks that he is lying because even though Kritika is beautiful he is only saying this because he is really clever.

Mahira and Sherlin looking at Sameer exclaim how he is spying on Akshay because of how he is looking at him, Sherlin explains that he is the spy for Shristhi and Preeta, Mahira responds that he is doing all this because of the love which he has for Shristhi, Mahira mentions that everyone loves someone, but the person she loves is with someone else, Sherlin explains how Karan also Preeta, Mahira asks why she has to say such things but Sherlin explains how she desires to say the truth, Mahira then leaves the hall.

Sameer comes to both Akshay and Kritika asking how they are doing, Karina comes explaining that it is his day and so he should celebrate and drink, he also offers her, but she asks him to take Kritika, she leaves when Sameer asks if she needs anything.

Shrishti and Preeta are planning about what they would do, Preeta explains how they would have to be really careful because Akshay is really smart, Preeta desires to get a solid proof but Shrishti explains how they always get a solid proof.

Karan enters the room and they both stop talking, Karan gets suspicious so asks what the subject of their discussion was because they might be talking against him, Karan says how Preeta has never exclaimed after their marriage he is a handsome person, Shristhi explains how it was not the case and Preeta was just admiring how handsome he is, karan leaves the room,

Preeta takes Shrishti by her ears asking what was the reason she said all those things, Shrishti says how she only said the truth to which Preeta answers how she should not have said it because now Karan would get the attitude.

Karan once again comes back onto the room asking Preeta to help him with the arm and then exclaims how he would not have the attitude before leaving the room, Preeta and Shristhi also leave the room for the dance floor.

Akshay and Kritika come on the dance floor, Kritika meet some of her friends then asks her if she should also meet with her friends, Akshay greets her but she gets uncomfortable, Kritika friends exclaim that she has come to meet Karan Luthra.

Karan enters the party with Preeta, she immediately rushes to him explaining how she just loves him and always is thinking about him, Karan gets uncomfortable and takes the leave. Shristhi immediately goes to her saying how she should stay away from Karan as he is her brother-in-law and she doesnot like when other women try to get close with him.

Karan starts the party exclaiming how it is for Akshay and his sister Kritika, he then formally starts the party by opening a bottle of Champaign. The dance floor is set and Karan is dancing with Preeta which angers Mahira who is standing in the corner,

Sameer is also taken to the dance floor by the fan of Karan, Shrishti gets jealous so jumps to dance with him, Preeta is looking at Akshay who is dancing with the fan of Karan and misbehaving with her all the while when Mahira is dancing with Karan.

Preeta and Shristhi go after Akshay, Sameer stays back to look after Mahira, Sherlin wonders where is Preeta and Shristhi as she cannot also see Akshay.

Sameer asks why the music has been turned off, Kritika wonders where Akshay is as he was dancing with her just a moment ago.

Shristhi comes running in the hall when she hears the girl pleading with Akshay to leave her, she immediately tries to get them separated but he pushes her away, Preeta comes and after seeing him she slaps Akshay asking how did he dare do it, she explains how she would reveal his true face in front of everyone and that she also has the witness and the culprit, Shristhi apologizes to Megha saying how she thought wrong about her but now would stand by her and that she must inform every one of the truth.

Preeta is holding the hand of Akshay when Karina along with everyone ask what has happened, Preeta is furious so says to Kritika how she informed her about Akshay being a dishonest person but she refused to believe her, Preeta forces Akshay to explain the truth however he doesnot say anything, Preeta mentions how she saw him misbehaving with the girl and now when she is a witness she would not him do anything wrong,

Preeta explains to karan how she knew about the low character of Akshay even before and when she tried to inform him he refused to believe her but now she has come to know how he really is, Karina stops Preeta inquiring why does she always have to blame Akshay, Shristhi also steps in saying about how she knows what kind of a person Akshay is, Karina even tries to scold her however she pleads with Karina to let her speak mentioning how she saw him with a girl when he was covering her face with his hands and that he might have done this to a lot of other girls.

Preeta once again asks him to reveal the truth however he explains that she should never try to say that he doesnot have a low character which is not the case as he only loves Kritika, Preeta is furious then explains how if he would not say the truth she would ask from Megha, Preeta questions Megha who reveals how Akshay was trying to get physical with her when they were on the dance floor and then he tried to misbehave with her,

Akshay gets worried asking her to not lie as it would ruin his life with Kritika as because of the blame Kritika is also continuously crying, Preeta orders him to not say anything wrong and take his family and leave not only the life of his family but also Kritika.

Akshay tries to convince Karan however he yells at her asking him to stop because this is not right, Karna starts pushing him ordering him to leave the house however Megha stops Karan exclaiming how he should not do anything wrong with Akshay, Megha then exclaims that she was paid to blame Akshay however she cannot let the lives of two people be destroyed,

Karina questions her about who paid her when she takes the name of Preeta everyone is shocked when Preeta inquires why is she saying this because she saved her from Akshay when she promised to reveal the truth about him in front of everyone, Megha exclaims how Preeta threatened her just like she is doing in front of everyone and so she took the money as she also needed it, Preeta exclaims how she is lying when Akshay and Megha are both looking at her.

Megha recalls how when she was in the hall thinking about how she would make Akshay leave her, she remembers how he followed her and even offered her money which angered her but then he confessed how he has not drank anything and even gave her money to speak a lie that would prove the lies of a girl,

Akshay gave her money informing her how she should say that he was misbehaving with her but Megha exclaims that no one would believe her, Akshay then revealed his plan about how he would act as if he was misbehaving with her because they both are following them, Megha once again questions him saying that no one would believe her but he explains that when Preeta would take her outside then she must say that she was given money to blame Akshay as Preeta desires to get him married with Shristhi.

Megha and Akshay are laughing when Preeta exclaims that she has not given any money and it would be Akshay, they both get in argument when Akshay reveals that she must have paid Megha because she desires to get Shristhi married with him which is why she is trying to create mis-understanding between him and Kritika.

Karan along with his family are shocked as they are not able to believe the accusation, Sarla along with Janki just then enter the house and looks at Karan, Akshay explains how he did not desire to reveal it like this because he also thinks about the honour of a girl, Akshay reveals how he tried to not talk about anything because it was the matter of a girl however when it is about the matter of a girl he cannot remain quiet and that the truth if Shristhi desires to marry him.

Preeta gets and asking him to stop, Sameer is not able to bear it and takes him by his collar but leaves when Karina scolds him, Akshay tries to say that it is the truth however Karan mentions how he knows her and she is not of the type, Preeta asks Akshay to look at Shrishti as she is one in a million and would never even think of marrying a person like him so he must not say anything against Shristhi,

Sarla asks Preeta why is she even trying to prove the innocence of Shristhi as everyone standing in the function knows about them, She demands that Akshay first talk with her as she would answer him and then questions how did he dare say such heinous things about her daughter.
