Jaxon's POV

Had Ciara begun falling for Jordan???

Was she no longer in love with me????

It felt like my touch disgusted her, the mere thought of my lips on hers angered her..Have I lost her??? Is this what I get for moving aside??

Since my last encounter with Ciara, I made sure my path's and hers never met...I don't know if I could resist myself from not running into her arms...She made it clear, I should not be close to her again..

Although I missed her that was the best thing to do for the both of us..It was a high time I accepted the reality that she was a married woman...

It had been two days since I saw Ariana and surprisingly missed her..I tried calling her for the fifth time now but he phone was still off. Was she okay???

I know what I will do, go to her place with a box full of chocolate doughnuts and milkshakes...

When I arrived at her place, the door was open and it seemed like a break in...

Was she okay???

I dropped the box of doughnuts and milkshakes and ran inside...The living room looked messy...The pillows were lying on the floor, there was a broken flower vase and some drops of blood...

"Ariana???" I called out when I heard someone screaming in the bedroom....

"Ariana????" I called once more and she screamed...

I ran to the bedroom and slammed the door open only to see Zac holding a belt...

Ariana was standing on the wall, her body bruised and mouth full of blood...

She looked terrified...

I tried to suppress my violent impulses but seeing him manhandle her gave me the urge to smack him down...

"Ariana, are you okay????" I asked...

Like how could I ask that when she looked like a mess??? I slapped myself inside my head...

"Back off Marcias..She is my woman and I will do with her what I want..." The nigga boasted..

"Not in my watch dude...She is my girlfriend and whoever messes with her messes with me..." I snarled...

"Girlfriend????" He laughed,"We both know that was a publicity stunt..."

"I said back off Zac..." I ordered but he didn't move...

"Or else what???" He pushed me back but I only staggered...That's it...

I drove my shoulder into his chest, slamming him into the wall where I started landing solid punches into his gut...

"Jaxon, he is not worth it..."I heard Ariana crying behind me...

"Next time, you lay your hand on her I will kill you..." I held him by the collar and dragged him out of the apartment.

"Go away!!!" I pushed to the floor full of doughnuts and milkshake and he groaned in pain...

Just then two security guards arrived, "What's wrong sir????"

"Call the police, this man was beating up my girlfriend..." I glared at him angrily...

"Right away sir..." They nodded and took him away...

"This is not the end Marcias..." That guy had the nerve to threaten me and he couldn't even lift his pinky finger to defend himself..What a coward???

When I got back to the bedroom, I found her crying in the corner of the room her legs pulled to her chest....

"Ssssh!!!!!That's enough..He is gone..." I whispered the moment I knelt infront of her...

"I am so scared...." She threw herself at me and I delicately hugged her..

"I am here for you Ariana, it's okay..." I stroked her hair, "Where is your first aid kit????"

"In the bathroom at the cabinet..." She explained after drawing away...

"Don't move, I will be back..."

I went for the first aid kit and places it on the bed...I delicately carried her in my arms and placed her on the bed...

I carefully cleaned her bruises and everytime she hissed in pain, I blower at it...

"Ariana, I am taking you to my house. You can stay alone here, what if that moron comes back???"

"But what about your family??? Ciara???"

Even in her darkest hour, she was still stubborn...

"Ciara is a married woman and about my family they will understand.."

"Okay, thank you..."

"It's nothing, just looking out for a friend...."

If people ever found out about this, they would think I am neglecting my girlfriend and drama is the last thing I want...

"Is this Zac's house???" I asked....

"Yes, he bought it for me..."

"I will give the manager back the keys, just pack whatever is yours and leave behind anything that belongs to him...I don't want you carrying anything his, are we clear???"

"Yes, why did you come thou???" Girls with curiosity.

"Your phone was off and you got me worried...But I am glad I came or else that bastard could have killed you..."

The thought of him beating her with that belt made my blood boil...

"He got mad when he heard about us dating and he went crazy...He started saying I betrayed him with his biggest rival...He begun hitting me Jaxon.." Tears begun dripping from her eyes as she narrated the encounter...The more she talked, the angrier I got...

If it's war that fool needs its war he will get...

"I am here for you," I assured as I wiped tears from her eyes,"Go pack, we are leaving soon..."

Jordan's POV

Since the kiss happened between Ciara and I, we have all been acting weird...

The atmosphere between us is tensed. I cannot longer look her in the eyes. I was embarrassed and it seemed she was too..

Did she enjoy the kiss??? Why can't she say something???

My lips still burn from the aftermath of the kiss...My emotions felt skidded and whirled..

Everyone was seated in the living room talking after dinner apart from Jaxon, Ciara and Sophie..The girls were out shopping and the guy I didn't know his whereabouts..It had been long since I saw him..

As for me, I was waiting for my wife since this is the only time I can look at her face without feeling shy...

In our room, I can barely stand beside her...

As we were busy talking, Jaxon walked into the living room carrying a handbag..

For a moment I thought it was Ciara's but she does own a grey handbag..

Behind him, was his bruised girlfriend...

"What happened??? Are you okay???" My mother ran to her son. C'mon mom, can't you see the person behind him looks worse...

"I am okay but my girlfriend is not...She will be living with us from now on.Is that okay????"

That was some good news but how was Ciara going to take it????

"What happened to her???" I asked...

"Her violent ex boyfriend beat her up and i couldn't leave her in her apartment anymore...Since I know people who ain't married can't share a room as per Granny's rules she will stay in the guest room..." He stated..

"Are you okay???" Granny asked and Ariana nodded...

"Feel at home, this is now like your home..." Mason hugged her, " Sophie and Ciara would have been happy to show you around but they are still out with their friends..."

"It's okay..."

She looked like a very good girl to me and I hope very soon those two fall in love...

"So Jaxon who do you love???Ciara or her???"Chloe asked...Dis she have to really???The girl seemed traumatised and the last thing she wants to hear is her boyfriend loves another...

"Chloe I love my husband and Jaxon love his girlfriend..."Ciara replied, her and Sophie walking into the living room their hands full of shopping bags..Her eyes were on everyone apart from me.. I didn't hear any footsteps, did she fly???

My Ciara was here finally but why is my heart beating so fast???

Mother still seemed mad at Ciara as she rolled her eyes and the look on her face changed..

"Hey Ariana???" She hugged her

"Hey Ariana," Sophie followed..

"Hello..." She whispered softly...

"We will take the bags to our rooms and show you around if that's okay???" Ciara asked and Ariana nodded...

"Sophie let's go..."

Off late Ciara and Sophie have grown close, they follow each other everywhere like two stranded dogs in love...

"I will be in my office, goodnight everyone..."

I kissed granny on the forehead and headed to my room. They might think I have alot of work to do but I was avoiding Ciara...

I wanted by the time I am going to our room, she is asleep...

I walked around in circles, tried to read philosophical books, stared hard and inquisitively at the screen of the laptop infront of me until it was midnight. Right now, she is asleep..

When I walked into our room, everything was scattered on our bed...

"Jane, I think I should come sleep over tomorrow..." She got out of the bathroom only in a bathrobe speaking on the phone...

Should I run out of there or act normal??? Jordan you are a man and it's your room. But the first option seems easier... She is just your wife not an alien...

How should I tell her to clear the bed??? Why should I, I will just do that myself....

I begun picking her dresses from the bed silently avoiding to look at her even accidentally..

"Jane I will call you back..." She hanged up...
