I DO - S01 E218

Read Story: I DO On Zeeworld, Thursday 25th August 2022 Update

We start the episode with Shaad wonders who is this person waiting and searching for jaanat, and if he finds him, would he give her away, but then decides not to, as he loves her too much, and that she is all he has left. he is attacked by hooligans, who demand everything he has, when they try to snatch his med packet, he asks them to let be, as its for his wife. he engages into a fistfight with the both of them, wherein one is about to give a final blow, when ahil steps in between, and the goons run away. While ahil helps him get up, one of the goons run back and hits him on the head with an iron rod. ahil winces in pain, and shaad and some other passer by immediately rush to help.

While sanam is waiting, in the room, with ahil’s napkin, the doorbell rings. when she opens the door, she is shocked to find ahil being carried unconscious in shaad’s arms. She recognises ahil from the airport, and then notices the wounds on shaad’s face, and gets immensely worried. he hastens to go to the doctor, while she is berserk. he asks her to calm down and then leaves. She eyes ahil’s arms, and senses some connection with him, and is boggled why she is feeling this connection and warmth for this total stranger. She tends to his wounds and eyes him tensedly. Flashbacks scenes of ahil caring for sanam in the past screen by. he mutters in his sleep, and she is tensed. Sanam finds his wallet having fallen down, picks it up and then eyes ahil, unaware that his wallet bears pics of hers. befor she can see, the doorbell rings again and she folds it back, and then placing it on the drawer, she opens the door to shaad. She then hurriedly asks what happened. He talks high of the man who saved him, twice at the airport and dharamshala. She asks him to have some rest too. He says that he shall manage on the couch, and she pulls the covers on him. He drifts off to sleep. She then eyes ahil tensedly.

Scene 2:

Location: Ahil’s residence

The new bride asks her why she came back so early, and Nazia says that she is feeling worse today and hence decided to sleep with her today, so that she can wake her if she gets worse. She begins to climb the stairs, but the new bride stops her. She offers that she would sleep with nazia, but she says that the AC in her room is not running, and since ahil isnt there, she would bunk in with sanam only. The new bride says that its not good to climb so many stairs, and then asks if she ate anything, and then tries to get her down, but nazia says that she just wants to rest. The new bride again stops her, but she pretends to be shocked as she stands at the entrance of the door. Sanam is scared that she got caught with saif. nazia enters and is shocked to see the room in such a mess. Sanam is tensed as to where saif vanished. she asks nazia to lie down. She complies.the new bride puts nazia to bed, while she is shocked to find saif under the bed. seeing her hovering around, nazia is tensed, while the new bride is scared. Nazia calls her to bed too, while she says that she would just grab water and then come. nazia complies.

Later, when nazia is asleep, the new bride gets up, and whispers saif to come out from under the ebd. They both get up and find nazia sleeping, and stealthily begin to move out, when she coughs in her sleep and alarms them. they go out, and then she asks him to hurry and leave, while he asks about the special plans tomorrow, as their night got ruined today. She is tensed. he asks whats the matter. she asks about the credit card’s fiasco. She says that maybe its the bank’s mistake. He is concerned if his car would be taken away. She again seductively tells him that he neednt be bothered of this petty issue, and that she would go tomorrow and clarify everything. He leaves. She thinks that she is tensed, and if ahil is behind all this, she wont spare him.

Scene 3:

Location: Dhramshala

While ahil sleeps on the bed, sanam kneels on the floor, to pray, out of humanity. She finds his hand fallen off the bed, and raises it up. Just then, in his sleep, ahil clutches tightly at her hand, muttering her name, while jannat is boggled by distant memories of their past. The screen freezes on her face as she closes her eyes.

Sanam goes to check Aahil and he grabs her hand while asleep. Sanam releases her hands and wonders what’s happening to her. She goes to Shaad and holds his hands and thinks why she cannot connect to him despite him being her husband and why she feels that she has some old connection with an unknown (Aahil).

Next day, Aahil wakes up and takes Sanam’s name. Shaad comes there. Aahil says he felt Sanam was there. Shaad says it’s his wife, Jannat, who looked after him whole night. Aahil thanks him. He says its not required. If human is not of human’s help, then what’s the point. They continue their conversation. Shaad then thanks him for saving his life. Aahil gets confused. Shaad says the packet had injection which is required for Jannat. Aahil tells him his words only that thanks is not needed. Shaad then informs him Jannat went to mandir. Aahil asks mandir? He says she thinks whether they go mandir or masjid, they are going for same purpose and there is only one God. He asks him to get ready and he will introduce her to him and he can also tell him more about Sanam.

On their way, both share their stories with each other. Shaad says he lost everything and now Jannat is only reason for him to live. He loves her a lot. While Aahil says, his purpose to live is to find Sanam. Shaad promises to help him and find Sanam if she is really in Pakistan. He asks him if he has any photo. Aahil forgot his wallet, so Shaad tells him to give later. They reach mandir. Shaad says Jannat will be near water. Aahil says if it was his Sanam, then she would be inside. He goes inside saying his thoughts are also similar to Jannat. Jannat is inside mandir and praying. Aahil goes to pray as well. He stands beside Sanam, but both fail to see each other. Aahil asks the God to help him in finding Sanam and only after finding her, he will be relieved.

Sanam-2 is angry as she doesn’t find her breakfast. Latif tells her that there is nothing in this house that she can cook. Sanam-2 calls couple of people in Aahil’s company, but they tell her that she can’t get any money without Aahil’s permission. She then thinks of calling her lawyer. Her lawyer comes there and says it’s true. Aahil has decided not to give her anything from property. Sanam-2 gets mad and asks him couldn’t he do anything. He says he did, he took 7 extra days for her to leave this house. That house will be auctioned after 7 days. Sanam-2 cannot believe that Aahil can do this to her. Later on, Saif comes and tells Sanam-2 that he shouldn’t have listened to her. He’s better off with Aahil’s sister. Sanam-2 tells him she will fix everything. He says she can’t do anything. A begum is nothing without her badshah and Aahil has left her and gone far. He leaves.

While sanam prays with her dupatta on her head, ahil too comes by the same monastery and begins to pray right by her side, oblivious of her presence. While sanam prays, ahil too prays alongside, and then turns to go. He then stops instinctively feeling something, and is boggled and disturbed, and turns around to see the lady praying, and is shocked. Overwhelming emotions surge through his body, as he recognises her as sanam. he is unable to believe what fate has landed him, as sweet and sour memories of their past flash before his eyes. He turns around yet again in bewilderment, still unable to believe this, as emotions ovberwhelm him, as he thanks the lord, in humble gratitude, for having brought his sanam back to him. He wipes his tears and composing himself, he once again turns around. Sanam finally opens her eyes, and turns towards him. Sanam and ahil finally confront each othwer, while she is oblivious of what ahil means to her, who in his world, just got his life back, as her. She too has a smile on her face, as she progresses towardshim, and then to his horror and shock, passes by him, and to shaad, who welcomes her with open arms, and then caresses her face lovingly, while ahil is in a state of shock. he wonders how is this possible, as his heart says that its his sanam, then how can she be someone else’s jannat. She asks shaad about him and Mr. Qureshi there. Shaad says that he is right there. Ahil immediately controls the well of tears storming in his eyes, and then comes to her, as she asks if he is okay. He says that he was just reminded of someone.

Scene 2:

Location: Ahil’s residence

The new bride desperately awaits for food, as she is hungry. sthe doorbell rings and she rushes to go and see. the pizza delivery guy first asks for money, while she is enraged, and asks if he knows who she is. The guy says that the whole Bhopal knows that she is reduced to the status of a beggar, and thta ahil has left her, and she doesnt have anything. Sher asks him to give the pizza. He says that he wont give till he gets the money. She hands him the earrings, and then takes the pizza. She hungrily eats it, when she starts getting severe and insistent hiccups. She is handed water and she gulps it down immediately. She then turns to find that its her own mother, who she had insulted and thrown out of the house. the mother says that she must have insulted her, but she cant turn away from her child, when she is in trouble. the new bride hugs her and apologises for what she did, and that she is being punished for it, as she is devoid of all happiness, relations and money, as ahil didnt even think of her. the mother remembers that she had given ahil this advise, and tells this to the new bride. The new bride asks how could as he not think of her daughter and her happiness. She says that ahil wonbt get what he wants, as his love is very far away. she asks her dfaughter to understand the true power of love. The new bride says that she wont let it happen, as ahil is just hers, and she wont let him be someone else’s. Her mother tells her to stop screaming, as she knows her magic is useless till the next No Moon night, and she can only use it to destroy others’ life. She asks her mother why she made her learn this magic then. She said that she did it for her good, not to destroy others’ life, and just wants to explain to her, to understand what path she should tread on. She begins to leave. The new bride gets on her feet, saying that she needs money, as she doesnt have anything to eat even. She hands the new bride a packet, and she thinks that its wad of notes, and thanks her profusely. She says that being a mother, she can only give this to a child like her, and asks her not to expect anything else from her. she leaves. The new bride hurriedly opens thinking that its money, wbut is shocked to see that its a pair of footwear.

Scene 3:

Location: Dhramshala

Ahil identifies snama’s hand those are clenching, and asks if they are married, then why no ring. shaad says that they dont believe in such rituals. He says that there’s a ring mark which looks pretty old. She tells that she lost her memory in a tragic accident, and she doesnt remember anything before that, nor the ring or her marriage. he asks if she got married before or after. She says before. He asks how does she remember this. she says that shaad told her. Shaad teases that ahil is interrogating like an army officer. She asks ahil if she can ask something from him. he says that she can ask anything. She says that she wants to know who is sanam, as he is always ranting her name. he is apalled at the irony of the question from her. He wonders how to tell her that its her only. His reluctance makes her leave the matter. shaad asks them to come out, and then they can chat. He whisks her away, while ahil is left dazed and speechless, and is sure that this is his sanam, and he wont let her go far away, and take her back to their world of love. The screen freezes on his face.
