I DO - S01 E60

Read Story: I DO On Zeeworld, Thursday 9th June 2022 Update

We start the episode with Sehere is frustrated to find her attentiopn being diverted by the victim, business couple, when rehaan steps in finding him confusing her to be sanam. She plays along, and finding that her victims are beginning to leave, assuring her that everything would work out, shge rushes after them, while rehaan is confused. Seher runs to find her victim gone. rehaan runs out looking for her, and she ducks just is time, to get rid of him. rehaan wonders where she went.

He gets in the same car behind which she is hiding. He drives off, and she thinks that he was an equally good victim looking at the car that he rides. She eyes wallet kept in another car and deftly steals it. But she hears something, and is shocked to find out who’s talking and doesnt find anyone as she turns around. She gets an almighty voiuce, beckoning her not to steal and render someone helpless. He gets her into an emotional descision, and puts the wallet back, frustrated at herself for doing so.

Scene 2:

Location: Faiz’s residence

faiz is excited to see his aunt along with her daughter. She starts reprimanding him for marrying secretly. faiz apologises for her not being at his wedding. she starts reprimanding him for marrying so hastily that he couldnt wait for her relatives. haya comes out and is tensed. His aunt notices the tension between them, and that haya came out from a different room, and is determined to find out.

While haya lays out the table, his aunt, accidentally drops the cup, and starts calling haya to clear it up, but when she doesnt respond, the aunt is shocked. His aunt complains about it with faiz. he tells her that haya is deaf and dumb. his aunt is shocked to find that she is deaf and dumb, and then goes on to ask faiz, if there was such a dearth of girls, that he had to marry a deaf and dumb one.

Scene 3:

Location: Ahil’s residence

As ahil sits working, sipping coffee, sanam comes in saying that he should eat instead of coffee. he asks her not to think that she can tell him what to do, as he is the master of his own will, and he wont listen to her orders. she says that he too has forgotten that he needs meds, and needs food for that. he says that he is working and wont eat right now. But she stops him. He asks her to leave. sanam tries to get him to eat, while ahil continues to say that he doesnt want to, and asks whats her problem, that she is insisting and asks who is she to him after all. she is shocked. In his fit, he accidentally topples the plate of food, and is shocked, as sanam is scared too.

She asks whats wrong with him, and he asks the same question, and she frustratedly says that if he doesnt take meds, he wont recover, and how he had a close shave at life, and asks him to hate her as much as he want, but dont hate himself, and that due to her he is in such a state, and hence she wants him to get better soon, and orders him that he cant have his way all the time. she tells him sternly that she is going to get another plate of food, and she would see to it, that he eats even if forcefully. She leaves, while ahil is stunned to see such fervour.

Sanam comes back with another plate of food, while ahil turns his head away, saying that the way she talked to him, noone has ever dared to. sanam is unfazed and it irritates him all the more. He asks her to look at him, and remember that noone behaves the way she does. she starts feeding him, and asks whats she trying to prove, as she wont be able to feed him forcefull. She lays out two spoon fulls, and coaxes him to eat with her eyes, but he doesnt comply and thrown them off. But sanam is unfazed and continues to give him one spoonful after another. As ahil is about to say something and throw it again, sanam stops him by placing her hand over his mouth, silencing him, and an awkward romantic gaze follows. He finally starts complying, and she feeds him. he gets a call, and begins to attend to it, while she smiles to herself, at her latest interaction with him. the screen freezes on her face.

Location: Hotel room and ahil’s residence

Sanam is shocked to find the locket missing from her parents’ pic, which actually is with seher, who surprisingly looks at it. She gets a call, and the locket falls down revealing her childhood pic along with sanam’s. before she can look at it, it again snaps back, and she is conscious about it, unable to see the two pic inside.

While reehaan is in the study, tanveer comes saying that she wants to say something very urgent. She tells that the lawyer has gotten all the property papers ready. She doesnt realise that ahil is listening to all this. Tanveer is about yto speak more, when rehaan notices ahil coming, and warns tanveer that ahil has come and that they should talk about this with ahil. She is shocked but composes herself, and reprimands ahil for resting, as he has to get well soon, as the entire property work is still pending and that the papers are all ready, and the lawyer would come anyday to get the signatures, and that once that happens, the property shall go to its rightful owner and then everyone’s life shall mean something for existence. she places a reassuring hand on rehaan’s hand. He excuses himself and leaves. ahil and tanveer stand tensed.

In the study, ahil remembers sanam’s latest display of affection and care. He doses off. when he wakes up after a while, he begins to go to his room.

Sanam is searching for that pendant. Rehaan tells her that she had worn that pendant in the afternoon. sanam refuses saying that she never wore that pendant. She is confused, while rehaan says that he had seen her when she was very tensed. He asks if all’s okay with her and ahil. She says that all is fine. Sanam says that she was right as ahil isnt mean by the heart and till u dont know a person, he shouldnt be judged, and hence ahil is very innocent, irrespective of his hard outer exterior. she smiles and says that all is fine, and thanks him for his concrn as a friend. He is distraught. Then they get to finding it together, as she climbs up and falls, just in time for rehaan to catch her. ahil catches them in this compromising position and is furious. He doesnt alarm either rehaan or sanam. rehaan leaves. Ahil goes after him.

Scene 2:

Location: Faiz’s residence

faiz’s aunt and her daughter continue to bicker against haya, influenced by munisa’s hatred against munisa. The aunt is determined to have haya divorced from faiz. Her daughter asks how would that happen when faiz loves her so much. The aunt says that their marriage hasnt been consummated yet, and that is condition enough for divorce, and plans to catch them red handed tonight, when faiz and haya sleep in separate rooms. After haya finishes her work in the kitchen, the two ladies observe her stealthily. As she goes in her room, the aunt is sure of her doubts. they are shocked to see this, and the aunt says that she wont leave haya today. As she enters haya’s room, she finds her on the bed, and is about to reprimand haya, when she finds a bare torso faiz jump on haya on the bed, trying to be intimate with her, while his aunt is shocked, and closes the door, leaving hastily.

After she leaves, haya pushes Faiz off the bed. She is disgusted while haya clarifies that he heard his aunt talking about their relation and hence he didnt want her to get the wrong idea, and he believes that there arent any. Haya is distraught while he tries to continue asking her if she is troubled, for anything other than dilshad, and asks her to disclose it to him, as he’s her husband, as he has a nagging fear that she is avoiding him, and asks if he did any mistake, and asks her to speak up. she nods her head in denial, and he is relieved, as he adds that he wants to give her happiness in life, and always keeps smiling. he leaves, while she stands tensed, as she remembers her moments with rahat.

Scene 3:

Location: Ahil’s residence

Rehaan is out in the proch, when ahil too comes. rehaan asks him what happened. ahil says tht he knows him since childhood, and knows every feeling, pain and trouble of his, hence should know what he feels today. rehaan says that he looks angry and tensed and asks if there’s any problem. ahil turns around and says that there’s a big problem, describing about certain boundaries between an employee and servant, specially within the bedroom, when the boss’s wife is alone in the room. rehaan is outraged, and says that he very well knows and asks if he’s doubting him. Ahil says that he should consider himself lucky.

Ahil tells rehaan that he is like his younger brother, or else what he saw, had it been anyone else, he wouldnt have been able to stand here. ahil asks if he doesnt know what rehaan wants with sanam. rehaan says that its enough and that he should stop. Ahil says that it hasnt been enough still. Ahil says tghat its obvious on his face that he still loves sanam. Rehaan says that even if its true, why is he bothered as he hates her, and asks what differnece it makes to him, if he talks or spends time with her. ahil says that it affects him, as she’s his wife, and till the time that relation is, he wont let it. rehaan asks if its just that, or there’s a truth that he himself doesnt want to face. he leaves, while ahil stands shocked. The screen freezes on his enraged face, as he remembers his past moments of love and affection towards sanam.

Tanveer makes an appointment with the lawyer for tomorrow, for the property papers. razia comes in with tea, and tanveer is amused, as she starts treating her like a real servant, by pulling all master stunts at her. razia is shocked in rage. tanveer says that she wanted to tell her that time has never betrayed her, and today too is with her. She says that she has wanted this so desperately and is finally getting it herself, when the haveli would be hers tomorrow, and not just that, if ahil and sanam sign the papers, then she would rule the whole of bhopal. She smiles in glee, while razia pouring out tea for her, says that destiny and time have always been with her,

but it doesnt take time to change the good times, and that this happiness is making her glow, but asks her to think, that the property shall only be saved from going to the trust, and what if ahil or sanam refuse to sign the papers. tanveer is tensed and says that ahil may die but wouldnt refuse her, and as for sanam, she owes so much to her, that she cant even breathe by her own wish. Razia reminds her that if they decide to stay together, what then, and what if, they dont want to call off the marriage, and mostly what if they fall in love. tanveer starts getting frustrated. But she starts laughing thinking that ahil cant fall in love, assuring the same to razi. tanveer tells her that she has brought up ahil like such, that he hates love, and even if he does fall in love, he would leave it himself. She says that her biggest threat right now is dilshad, and that she has already thought whats to be done with her. Razia is tensed, while tanveer is amused.

Tanveer senses ahil in the room, and asks whats the matter and why’s he here. Ahil says that she should send rehaan to another far site project, as he would be busy in his work there. tanveer is disturbed and asks if there are any issues. Ahil says that he doesnt want to let issues arise. tanveer says that anyone can do them, and if rehaan goes from here, who would takle care of the duties here. Ahil says that he would take care of everything here, and he wants rehaan to handle the kohinoor project, as rehaan knows what he likes and dislikes. Tanveer tries to object, but ahil says that it would be better if he goes, or else he himself shall go. tanveer is left speechless, while ahil leaves. she is frustrated. Rehaan comes with his bags pakced. tanveer says that she wanted to talk to him, and brings up ahil’s request, clarifying that ahil could have gone, but if he goes the property papersshall be left in the lurch. rehaan says that he knows what and why ahil wants what he does, and he was going to go, but it feels good that she too wants this. she says that she is doing this just for him.

rehaan says that she doesnt need to say more, as he knows what importance is this property for her, and agrees to go, but adds that this would be his last project and once its done, then he would have no relation with this company and this house. Tanveer asks whats he saying, and that in a couple of days everything would be okay. rehaan says that she neednt don anything, as she did and said what she could. Rehaan tells tanveer tearfully that he is leaving right now, and bids goodbye to her, while she stands shocked. she thinks that she broke his heart, for money and property, but is assured that she would get everything right for rehaan,

and once ahil signs the papers, then he would be thrown out, and after that the entire property shall be her son’s, rehaan’s. He goes out in the lobby, while ahil comes out of his room, and they accidentally confront each other, tensedly, as they remember their confrontation last night. Ahil tries to stop him, but composes himself just in time. Rehaan leaves. He casts a tearful glance back at the haveli, and eyes sanam, in the balcony overwhelmingly, as he remembers their past moments together. He leaves. sanam turns around but finds the doorway empty, as rehaan had already left.

Scene 2:

Location: Faiz’s residence

Faiz and haya lie in the same bed, with their backs turned on each other, both unable to sleep. faiz gets up restlessly, and then eyes haya, from her back. He comes close to her, and haya pretends to be asleep. He starts caressing her hairs, and she starts getting tensed and apalled, as tears fall down her eyes, as he stealthily takes off her dupatta, while she clutches at the bed terrified and apalled. She finally turns around and begins to kiss her at the nape of her neck, while she is shocked and visibly at discomfort, tears splotching her face. As faiz tries to get intimate with haya, kissing her on the lips, she shoves him away, while he asks her to relax as its normal between a normal married couple, and asks if he did anything wrong. haya in an outburst, takes off her dupatta,

and asks him to go ahead if that the only thing which marriage means. faiz asks if she is mad, and then drapes her dupatta around her, and tries to tell her that the marriage brings two souls together. he asks her whats wrong with her, as he feels she is physically here but not mentally. He asks her to speak up, if she isnt happy with this relation or there’s anything else. he assures her that he would stand by her, and would do anything for her. but she continues crying and breaks into inconsolable tears. He storms out of the house, while his aunt looks at him, shocked, from a distance and then finds haya crying. she wonders everything was okay when she last saw them, and concludes that they were pretending then, and is unable to believe that her own nephew betrayed her.

The next morning, while haya is laying out breakfast for them, their hands accidentally collide, and she instantly jerks it off. She leaves, and his aunt tries to pretnd that she forgot that haya is deaf. faiz is tensed. his aunt continues to instigate him about haya, whether she is being a good wife, and whether she would stand by him in his old times. faiz takes haya’s hand, and tries to prove to his aunt that they both love each other, and that they dont need to worry. His aunt thinks that if he can pretend, she can pretend it too, and knows very well how much they love each other, and is determined to expose them in front of everyone, and throw haya out of the house. The screen freezes on her tensed face.
