Mausi is awake.

Neza is in the room with her.

She asks where Sejiro is.

He tells her she's gone to eat.

She starts to get out of bed.

He orders her to lie back down.

She asks if he's her doctor.

He says so she can now talk?

He asks where Seyive is.

She ignores him.

He grabs her face and asks her where Seyive is.

She shrugs.

He says he saw her assistant witch by the river.

She says maybe that was where she kept Seyive.

Neza freezes and asks if Seyive is dead.

Mausi brings out her clothes.

He asks where she's going.

She says she has to leave otherwise Sejiro will kill her.

Neza says he promised Sejiro that he will make sure she doesn't leave.

She tries to leave and he holds her down saying she's mad if she thinks she can leave.

She says he's mad if he thinks there is any other choice.

He asks what she will do.

She says the moment Akweyon spills her blood, there is no going back.

Neza advises her to tell Sejiro another story like she sent Seyive to another village.

Mausi asks if he wants her to lie.

He says whatever she does, she shouldn't say Seyive is dead.

She asks why.

He asks if she wants to die.

She says she's already dead.

She writhes in pain.

He asks what innocent Seyive ever did to her

She says no one is innocent.

She cries out in pain and grips her stomach.

He tells her the pain is not enough.

She asks if he remembers she helped him once.

He laughs and says people died because of what she made him do.

He warns her again not to mention that Seyive is dead because there is no hope for her but there is hope for Sejiro and they shouldn't allow her to do what they will all regret.

She says Sejiro wouldn't believe her.

He tells her to make Sejiro believe her.

Elder Johnde is in the palace with Obi.

Daddy Love and Oviyon run in.

They narrate their ordeal.

Obi asks if Oviyon was injured.

Oviyon says he needs to get to the clinic to get checked out

He leaves.

Sejiro is in Senami's office.

Senami tells her to eat.

Sejiro says she's not hungry and wants to be in the room to see when Mausi wakes up.

Oviyon walks in and tells Senami he was attacked on his way to Jegba.

She takes him to the bed in a corner of the room to examine him.

Sejiro picks a sharp tool from the table and sneaks out of the room.

Peace enters the palace main room.

Obi is surprised to see her.

She tells him that she was with Folake.

He asks if she was around all along.

Peace tells him to confess.

He says he has confessed to her and the Mausi before her.

She says before he leaves, he must confess, otherwise, he will have very bad luck.

He says he's not leaving Aji.

Peace says the curse that will follow him and his family will be deadly.

He tells her that he's Otogan and she needs to respect him.

She says Otogan kneels before Mausi and if he doesn't confess, what he has suffered in the past will be nothing compared to what will befall him.

Sejiro enters the ward and lunges at Mausi with the tool.

Neza pulls her back.

He tells her to listen to Mausi because she already spoke to him.

Sejiro calms down.

Mausi says she sent Seyive to get something from another village.

Neza hides the tool by the window.

Sejiro asks for water.

Neza says he will get it but doesn't want her to do anything.

Sejiro says she has agreed that Seyive travelled.

Neza leaves the room.

Sejiro tells Mausi that she doesn't believe her and she either tells her where Seyive is, or she dies.

Oviyon returns home holding his stomach.

His mother asks what happened.

He laughs and says it was just some troublemakers.

Iya says she warned Fonton that the work is too dangerous for him Oviyon.

He tells her to call Daddy Love and check up on him too instead of stressing his (Oviyon) life.

She asks how she's stressing him.

He says she went to tell Senami to try and convince him to leave Aji.

She asks if he wants to die like Jonah.

He says he's not Jonah and she needs to relax.

She asks why he won't go to Lagos and think of how to better his life instead of staying in Aji to hold onto his mother's wrapper.

He asks if she has forgotten all the years she lied to him that she wasn't feeling fine and needed him in Aji.

She says she's okay now so he should go to Lagos.

He walks out.

Obi tells Folake that he doesn't know what to make of the new Peace

Folake says Peace scares her.

Obi says old Mausi told him to stay in Aji but Peace is telling him to confess.

An attendant rushes in, looking scared.

Obi tells Folake to go inside the room.

The messenger from Jegba Chief walks in singing their Chief's praises.

The Chief walks in.

He addresses Obi as 'Otogan Miyise' and asks if he came at a bad time.

Seyive has picked up the sharp objects again and she is standing in front of Mausi.

She asks her to say the truth.

Mausi says she already told her it was Dethin and she doesn't know what Dethin did.

Sejiro says she's lying and she will pay.

Mausi says Sejiro doesn't know the gravity of what she's about to do and since Sejiro left, terrible things have been happening.

Sejiro says Mausi will pay.

She lunges at her with the sharp object.

Mausi screams.

Senami rushes in and holds Sejiro but Sejiro throws her off and she lands on the other bed.

Sejiro grabs Mausi again and raises the sharp object to stab her.

Senami screams, No!

Matron Zansi walks in.

Sejiro freezes.

Mausi also freezes.

Matron looks at Senami.
