“Gbu! gbu!! gbu!!!” the floor shakes as Dad and his daughters feets match floor with a great force. They heard the noise and come to the sitting room to check what’s going on.

Getting there, Dad and Her daugh er saw him standing beside Mum their eyes and mouth were wide opened.

“John my beloved, Son!!!” Dad said as tear rolled down his cheeks. I run to him and give him a hug as we both wept.

Afterwards, the daughters hug john tightly with tears in their beautiful eyes.

“John, please forgive me…” Mrs. Akinyemi cries as she said.

“Mum you’re to forgive me for my rudeness” John said.

“John how did you manage to survive?” Dad asked.

The gateman peeps from the window, the daughters were looking at John without taking their sight off him.

“I suffer alot for my wrong deeds, i hardly once a day, so one day i was passing the street of Lagos, i saw some mechanics working in their workshop. So i begged to join them, their boss agreed. working with them, i was paid 50naira daily despite being puntual and hardworking. i always slept in shops where mosquitoes do bite me. But one day, a rich man came to repair his car in our shop, he saw how hardworking i am, he called me and asked some vital questions from. He was the one that sponsored my education” He narrated.

“What did you study in the university?” Dad asked.

“Mechanical engineering sir”

“Wow!”

“Ok, let’s pray for your mum she has been sick since you left” the pastor ordered.

Everyone bows down their heads to pray for mum.
