He leads me out and we stand there for a while just the sound of wind is heard in the utter silence and of course my own rapid heart beating from the lack of sight. My hands itch to remove this damn blindfold.

Strong arms wrap around my waist from behind as Xander hugs me to him. He puts his head on my shoulder before he kisses my exposed neck, his hairs tickling my skin as I squirm giggling slightly. I feel his lips turning into a smirk against my skin.

He trails kisses from my neck to the ear , placing a gentle kiss just below my ear, my heart starts accelerating at the touch of his lips on my skin. I place my hands on his arms to steady myself because I can feel my knees weaken.

"You can take it off, my love." He whispers in my ear before kissing it. I can feel the smile on his lips which makes me smile also. Removing my hands from his arms, I lift them up and slowly remove the blindfold . I blink my eyes to adjust to my surrounding before I open them.

As I look at the garden, my eyes widen every passing seconds then a gasp escapes my lips as I look at the beautiful scene around me. I hear him chuckle but I am too daze to turn toward him. My eyes never wavering from the scene.

Before my eyes, the garden is scattered and covered with fairy twinkle lights. Every tree, every branch is wrapped with lights hanging on them that lighten the whole dark area.

Oh my God." I breath out, fix on my spot. I break out of my daze when Xander pushes me forward so I can move from my freeze action.

I move around, my feet moving against the soft grass and my fingers lightly brushing against the lights as I look at them in awe. It's so beautiful.

"Do you like it?"

I look over my shoulder to find Xander standing a few feet away from me, with his hands tuck inside his pockets. He looks at me with a blank face but I can see nervousness twirling in his eyes. His gaze also moves around the place before settling on me. 19

He looks so handsome here, standing in the middle of the lights as they cast shadow on his face which brighten his eyes up. He never fails to take my breath away. He raises an eyebrow at me. 9

I blink my eyes frantically, realizing he is still waiting for my answer.

"It's so beautiful, Xander." I whisper gulping down, not trusting my voice. He has done all of this for me. I feel like an emotional mess right now. I take deep breath to keep myself calm and not break down right here and ruin this moment.

I watch as his lips split open in a bright smile as he looks at me with so much happiness and love that make my heart skip a beat. I run toward him as he opens his arms,engulfing me in a tight hug. I breath in his scent thinking what have I done to deserve him? God! 32

"I love you so much." I keep repeating it in his chest. He strokes my hair with his one hand before kissing the top of my head, lifting me off my feet slightly before putting me down again.

I look up at him, hoping my eyes can tell him how much I love him and adore him. He smiles at me softly before trailing a finger down my cheek to my chin before he lifts my face up to give him better access as he smashes his lips on mine and kisses me passionately. I bite his lips asking him to open his mouth but he pulls away, smirking at me.

"Calm your horses." He teases me with a smirk before he grabs my hand and moves us toward the same bench where it all has started where I had given him this chance where he had asked for forgiveness. As I think about it, I realize that I have forgiven him a long time ago. 38

I look at him as we make our way there, noticing the same emotion on his face. He is also remembering that day. Sensing my stare, he looks down at me but then nervousness clouds his eyes again making me look at him in confusion.

What is he nervous about? 18

Xander's POV:

Calm down, Xander.

Deep breath in. Deep breath out.

In my entire existence, I have never known that the only thing that can make me nervous and hyperventilate is this. 11

This is karma. For all the time ,I have made fun of others for being so nervous about this tiny little situation. I realize how wrong I have been. 6

This is not tiny little situation. It is life and death matter! 49

Yes. I am going to propose her. That's what I have been busy with since she has asked me to change her. I want to make her mine in every way. 152

What if she rejects me? No. Don't think like this, she loves me. She won't reject me, right? What if she doesn't want to marry now? I can wait for her, I guess. But what if she doesn't want to marry at all? Then it will be a problem. If I have to drag her down the aisle then so be it.

Oh Lord! I hope my men are not peaking from the windows of the house to see this. I can bet they are laughing their asses off at my sweating state of their King. 91

I look down at the love of my life when I feel her staring at me constantly. She looks at me in confusion by noticing my nervous state.

Can I play the forward button, please? 58

I take a deep breath as we near the bench. Confidence fills me as I remember the time when she had given me this chance. I want to make it right. 1

Be done with it, already!

I halt when we are near the bench, licking my dry lips. I look around my surrounding, praising myself and my men for helping me in this. Indeed , it is so beautiful but not more than my love. The way her eyes are twinkling is so much more the words can ever describe. Her beauty is speechless.

"Xander..." I feel a soft hand on my face making my eyes snap at my love. She looks at me with so much love and adoration that I want to beat my chest and yell in delight. 36

"Thank you so much..." She whispers. I smile down at her which she returns. I take a deep breath before I kneel down in one knee. 14

At first, she follows my action with a frown but then she realizes what I am doing,her eyes widen again. I can hear her heart beating wildly which excites me.

I look up at her through my eyelashes giving her my best puppy look. 39

"Alexandra. I have fallen in love with you since the day I saw you at our college cafeteria, looking all beautiful with that beautiful smile and your eyes twinkling. I have fallen in love with you since your eyes made contact with mine and you gave me that beautiful smile. I have fallen in love with you since you called my name with that beautiful voice. And I can't help but keep falling in love with you at every passing seconds of my life. When we were apart, it didn't matter because I live only for you, if my heart ever beat it's only for you. Your love gives me strength, it gives me happiness." 83

Tears start falling down her eyes as she puts her fingers at her mouth. Her body shakes slightly with the silent sobs but she maintains the eye contact with me through her blurry eyes which gives me confidence to keep going on. 14

" I have done mistakes, I have hurt you with them which I will forever regret as long as I am alive. If I could go back in time, I would make things right. My head was messed up but you help me through it. And I will forever remain grateful for you and keep reminding you every single day how sorry i am and how much I love you. I don't... I can't imagine my life without you. I can't. " I emphasize and take deep breath, stuffing my hand in my pocket and taking out the small red velvet box and opening it. I look at the ring which belongs to my mother. It is passed to every Queen and now if she agrees, will be hers. I look at her to find her already gazing at the ring, i clear my throat wanting her eyes on me. She looks at me instantly and I shoot her a smile before saying the last words. 10

"So will you, Alexandra Shine Ronald, give me the honour and spend your life with me and.... Will you marry me?" I finish the sentence and hold my breath waiting for her response. 40

She just stands there, looking all beautiful and staring at me through tears fill eyes. A sob escapes her lips before she nods frantically as tears keep falling down her eyes. 3

"Yes... Yes... Yes..." She breaths out again and again and I feel like the most lucky man and indeed I am as I smile brightly at her. She gives me her hand and I take out the ring and put it on her ring finger. I am amazed how it fits on her finger perfectly and it looks so beautiful on her. 50

God she is so perfect. 13

As soon as I stand up she throws her arms around me and hugs me tightly. I hold her close to me and she sobs in my arms. I feel light headed. I can't be more happier than this. This is heaven. I clutch her tightly,kissing her head. 1

We both jump apart when we hear a loud roar which shakes the ground literally. 19

Our heads snap toward the house to find my- no - our men standing on the windows and cheering loudly. 192

I hear a soft giggle beside me and I smile softly knowing from who it belongs to. I wrap my arm around her pulling her against me. I see Laila ,Matt ,Jennifer and Harrison at the door smiling widely. Harrison gives me nod and Matt is making videos from his camera while Laila has her mother in her arms because she is crying .

Women. I shake my head , chuckling at all of this. 72

I look down at the only woman in my life that can bring me to my knees. She gazes in my eyes with tears and a smile , fixed on her lips.

"Can you see this, love? They are all yours. This is all yours. They love you and respect you as much as they respect me but I don't know about the love part though I am hard to love. " I wink at her making her laugh before she slams in my chest hugging me again.

This is happiness, having her in my arms. I want to capture this moment and cherish it every second.

"I love you so much,baby." I whisper, tightening my arms around her inhaling her scent.

"I love you too." She whispers and I close my eyes at these words.
