"You are kidding me!" Matt exclaims as he looks at me with wide eyes, disbelief written all over his face. I fiddle with my fingers on my lap, looking down. I shake my head. I squirm nervously when I am greeted with silence. I lift my head slightly to look at him.

He looks at me with open mouth in shock before his lips split open in a wide grin. I frown at him.

"Wicked!" He breathes out in wonder, excitement clear in his eyes.

"Uh?" I tilt my head in confusion. I glance at Harrison who is also looking at me but with disbelief.

So currently, we are sitting in the living room of the house and they are giving me 'company' according to them but I know better that they are guarding because Xander has to do some work so he has to go, I roll my eyes mentally. It's been days since we had 'the talk' and from that, he is being very busy. When I had asked him to take me with him, he brushed me off saying I have to rest.

"What's wicked about it?" Harrison asks him with a raised eyebrow, an unknown emotion swirling in his eyes. Matt looks at him like he can't believe he just asked him that. 1

"Really? She will be like us! We can have so much fun together." He then looks at me with some mischievous glint in his eyes. I raise my eyebrow at him. 17

"Like?" I ask him with cautions. 1

"Like hunting!" He yells, raising his fist in the air. Harrison, who is sitting beside him, smacks him on his head making him yelp as he glares at him. 2

"What's that for?" He mutters, rubbing the spot where he had been hit. Harriseon shakes his head,sighing before he looks at me with a serious look. I straight up in my seat across from their couch. 2

"Do you really want to become like us, Alex?" He asks me loud and clear, his eyes unwavering from mine. I look at him straight in the eyes.

"Yes."

"You do know, what you are asking for,right? There is no turning back. You will things which you are going to regret all your life. We won't be there always to stop you from...." He trails off, not completing his sentence. I know what he is telling me. Xander has warned me about it also that I can loose control easily and can hurt people. But I know as long as Xander and they are with me, they won't let it happen. 2

"I know. But I trust you guys. I know you won't let it happen." Matt smiles at me whereas Harrison keeps looking at me. He nods at me, touching his tongue with the inside of his cheek.

"When are you going to transform? I mean when the King will do it?" Matt interjects our staring competition. Our eyes snap towards him as he looks at me,expectantly.

"I don't know. " I sigh. Harrison looks at me with confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"I had asked Xander and he said, ' In the right place at the right time' so I don't know when the right time is." I shrug completing my sentence and looking behind them at nothing. I wonder when will be the right time. I hope it won't be years. Knowing Xander, we can't say anything. From my peripheral vision, I catch them sharing a look with a smug smirk. I narrow my eyes at them. 28

"Hey! What's that look is about?" I snap my fingers at them. Their heads turn towards me, immediately as they look at me with wide eyes. Busted!

"Uh. Nothing?" Matt replies with a raised hand. Harrison grimaces at his acting. 5

"You are bad at lying, you know that?" I ask him with narrowed eyes before they flick towards Harrison making him gulp.

"So, spill it out."

"We can't tell you!" They both say in unison and I smile at them smugly. So there is something that they are hiding. They realize their mistakes as they groan, hanging their heads.

"He will kill us." Matt mutters under his breath. I can guess who is he talking about. Harrison nods his head in agreement. I was about to open my mouth when Laila strolls toward us dumping herself beside me on the couch.

"My feet hurt." She moans in pain, leaning against me making me laugh at her. Matt takes this chance as an excuse to save himself.

"Here let me help, beautiful." He says with a wink, moving toward her with amused eyes. Indeed, Laila is beautiful in her own way. I bit my lips to control my laughter as she looks at him with horrified wide eyes. She is not used to these vampires talking to her unless Xander asks them to. And they sure as hell don't compliment her. 26

"I think maa is calling me, I should go." She stands up abruptly but halts when Matt stands infront of her. I watch the exchange with amusement as Matt looks down at her, smirking while she looks up at him with open mouth.

"But I didn't hear her calling." Matt whispers.

They both look cute as a couple, there is no doubt in it. I catch Harrison's eye as he winks at me also amused at them. I chuckle which brings her back to earth as she dashes away from him and makes a beeline towards the kitchen without sparing any of us second glance. 7

Matt hollers in laughter as his eyes twinkle looking at her retreating form.

"It was funny. She is cute. " He says, shaking his head. 12

" Little human girls." He murmurs and I roll my eyes at him. 7

"Enjoying yourself,Matt?" Our heads turn toward the voice and my heart does flips when my eyes lock with the owner of the voice.

Xander gives me a soft smile, eyes fill with adoration and love as he makes his way towards us. 4

"King." Matt and Harrison acknowledge him, bowing down slightly. He nods but keeps his eyes on me. I smile at him, biting my lip. His eyes flick towards my lips before they settle back at my eyes. 1

"We should get going now." Harrison says as I nod at them giving both of them smiles as they leave. When they pass Xander, Harrison stops for a second, patting his shoulder.

"Good luck." My eyebrows raised in confusion as I look at Xander in question. What's that good luck he gave him for? Instead of answering, he grins at me cheekily before holding his hand, palm up.

"Come with me." He tries to ask me but ends up ordering as always. I roll my eyes at him, playfully but smiling nonetheless as I give him my hand. His hand engulfs mine as warmth spread through my whole body making me sigh. Pulling me closer, he leans down, kissing my forehead. 6

"Where are we going?" I ask him as he leads me toward the door that leads us to the back garden. As we were passing, I find Jenny and Laila looking at us with wide happy grins. Jenny has unshed tears in her eyes, I look at her in confusion but before I can ask her, Xander yanks me forward. 35

"At the garden." He replies me with a duh tone. I slap his arm, lightly making him chuckle. We stop at the closed door and when I make a move to open the door , he stops me turning me around. 1

He smirks at me, lifting a red blindfold in his hand. I look at him suspiciously then at the blindfold. 21

"I am not-" He cuts me off by putting his finger on my lips, silencing me. I glare at him.

"Trust me." He whispers leaning down, pecking my lips lightly. I nod at him, hesitantly. He smiles brightly at me, putting the blindfold in my eyes then turning me around. 9

"Don't peak out." His breath fans my neck as he bites my earlobe making me yelp. He is such a cheeky thing but I am happy that he is all mine. I giggle in my head. 3

I take a deep breath as I hear the door opening, anticipation fills me to see what lay ahead and I have a feeling I am going to have a heart attack to see whatever it is.

Calm down, Alexandra. I scold myself as Xander moves me forward by putting a hand on my back.
