So...About The Favour...

It was like a typical Harris Party -- packed to each corner, the lights are brought down low to cover all the people grinding on each other and dancing aimlessly on the dance floor. The bar was handled by Theo, one of Kai's friends. Just a few minutes in the club and the smell of beer already made me dizzy. 6

Instead of enjoying myself, I had to keep track of Tristen, tp ensure he doesn't get extremely drunk. I just had to give him 15 minutes till he got to that stage.

Though I kept a look out for Tristen, I didn't miss the bunch of girls dancing around Alexander, something tick within me at the sight of how the few girls were so eager to get their hands on him. 16

He seemed oblivious to the attention he was receiving by wearing that tight-fitting tshirt that displayed the outline of his well defined abs.

Leaning against the bar counter, I was glad Theo tried to make small talk that made me laugh. It took my mind off my lonely internal conversations. I took a sip of my martini, letting it slide down my throat slowly, trailing along a burning sensation.

I suddenly felt a familiar presence beside me. His intoxicating cologne assailed my senses, a weird calming effect flows its way within me.

" You still wanna call me the loner?" Alex stands beside me, his elbows resting on the bar counter.

I snickered, casting him a brief glance.

" I can get any girl in this room." I folded my arms across my chest.

" I'm not gonna deny that." His indirect compliment made my blood rush.

" W-what?"

" You're good looking Gab, it surprises me how girls haven't fallen to your feet yet," he chuckled, how could he possibly say that so casually? Especially when I, on the other hand, felt my legs go weak. 27

Biting my lip, I smiled at him in a shy manner, my eyes immediately averting away from his.

Something was different. I'm a complete mess when I'm around him each time.

Sure, I had crushes on various boys or girls but none could make my heart beat so fast, so fast that it could practically break my ribcage.

" So...about the favour..." I begin, " I think I need that right now."

"Sure, what can I do?" Though he answered, Alexander winked at the group of girls that passed by. Just like the player he is.

Come one Gabriel, you need to level up your game.

" So how do I get that girl in bed by tonight?" I discreetly pointed over to a girl in a red mini tube dress that had her blonde hair pinned up into a messy bun. 83

I felt Xander's eyes whip towards me, I didn't miss how I felt him tense up.

" Urm..." he coughs out, " Walk over to her and smoothly place your hands on her waist, then everything will go as it comes..."

His voice felt uncertain, very much different from the usual confidence he radiated.

"Wait, Gab aren't you afraid of dancing?" He piped in hastily. 2

" Half the people here are drunk and everyone's too busy to notice so I'm fine."

Giving one last smile, I hopped off the stool. 26

" Wish me luck Wilde!" I nudged him befire disappearing into the crowd.

There she was, swaying her hips to the rhythm. I slid my arms slowly around her waist causing the ends of her lips to tilt upwards. 14

She hooked her arms around my neck, leaning real close to me. I could feel a burning gaze on me, watching my every move. 23

As I twirled her swiftly, I took the opportunity to confirm my suspicion.

Indeed, Alexander had his eyes on us while he drank his beer.

"Damn, who's that hottie over there? The one in the white V-neck?" Her voice squeaked out. 83

My face fell, " Urm...that's my friend."

Why Alexander? Why him?

Her eyes lit up like the 4th of July as she pulled out a piece of paper.

" Great! Could you pass him my number?" She pulled away from me. 90

The moment she placed the note in my hand, I had to hold back the urge of tearing the paper into shreds.

I felt used -- the perfect definition of pathetic. I yearned for a black hole to appear from below and drag me down wholesome.

" You sure know how to bruise a guy's ego." I casted her the middle finger before pushing past the crowds of drunk people. 16

Life couldn't get any better when Alexander stopped me.

" Hey what happen back there?" His eyes were filled with genuine concern. 3

" Why not ask the fucking girl, possibly your one night stand for tonight!" I shoved the paper into his chest harshly, before pushing past him to head to the toliet.

I left him rooted to the ground, robbed off speech. I slammed the door shut behind me, glad that the toilet was empty.

" fuck you Alexander " i cursed beligerently as I stomped to the last cubicle. I heard his faint voice calling out for me but with the raging emotional state I was in, my mind was in a haze not to notice him burst into the toliet. Suddenly a hand grabbed my wrist and turned me swiftly around. 28

He grabbed me by the collar, pulling me to him before covering my lips in a hungry kiss, pushing me against the wall.

I was frozen. My mind was distorted, all over the place. Feeling his warm lips against mine, feeling way more softer than I imagined. The toliet atmosphere seemed to get hotter within the seconds, and it surprised me how quick I responded by pulling him closer.

I couldn't wrap what's happening around my head right now but I knew something for sure, I didn't want it to stop.

Not now. Not ever. Because...
