❝One angry phone call❞

Opening the bathroom door, I notice him lean against the wall, smirking. He walks over to me and helps me go on the bed once again. "Do you need anything, water? Food? Entertainment?" He asks me. I smile softly. "I think you're entertainment enough" I speak. I don't think he knows how much it means to me that he's here with me, that he's here when I need him the most. And even when I try to pull away from him, I feel myself only growing closer to him and I don't mind it.

Sebastian only chuckles at that. "In that case, you're not going to want my gift" He says as I notice his eyes travel somewhere and I follow them to see that on the nightstand is a black box with a silver bow on it. The tray that was there before is gone and the glasses too. "What is that?" I ask him. He shrugs and sits down on the chair beside the bed. "Open it to find out" He tells me and hands me the box. I put it on my lap in confusion. What could he possibly give me that would entertain me in here.

I lift the top of the box and I'm happy that it's not that heavy otherwise I would've needed help from Sebastian which is getting a bit strange now. Putting the lid on the side to see what is inside, I look down with even more confusion and the at Sebastian. Raising an eyebrow at him and giving him a puzzled look only makes him chuckle. Inside the box is a laptop. It's been a long time since I've seen one since he doesn't allow me to have a phone nor a laptop. All I had was a TV and a chess board for fun.

"What is this?" I ask him quietly when he doesn't understand the look that I gave him. "Since you are soon going to be the CEO of the company there, I thought you might as well learn how and what better time than the one that you're forced to be in bed" He says. Somehow I feel a pang in my chest when he says that but I don't show him how much this does hurt me. He only gave this to me to learn how to be someone that I don't want to be.

I realize something that I should've done a long time ago or this morning at least, he didn't come back to be with me for who I am but he came here to groom me into someone that he wanted me to me. Someone that could work for him and obey everything that he says. He wants to control me and that is why he's doing this. I don't want to be some CEO nor do I want this laptop if it's only for that. "I'm feeling a bit tired now. Could I get some rest?" I ask him.

Feeling ridiculously about asking him if I could rest but then again he wants to control everything in my life, why would he not want to control that. "Of course" He only answers. I put the lid back on the box and hand it to him and he puts it on the nightstand. I lie down and turn around so that my back is facing him. Looking at him will only bring my heart more pain. I thought that we were getting somewhere, that he was actually starting to care for me and take care for me b it he was only doing it to ease the information to me.

Sebastian wants this to happen as fast as possible for some reason. I don't try to fall asleep as my thoughts don't want to. Instead I just stare at the wall and pretend to be asleep. I'm glad that he doesn't check that but at the same time I want him out of the room. I hear him move around in the chair and I close my eyes, just in case. "King" He says harshly but his voice is low, yet not low enough so I can't hear him. After a couple of seconds I realize that he's talking into his phone to someone.

"Should I remind you what will happen if you don't?" He asks into the phone before he listens to what the other person is saying. I try to hear but I can't, I've no idea what he's talking about but he's angry at something. Then again, when is he not angry at something or someone? "This project is your top priority and if you can't do it then I will find someone who can, someone that is willing to do the things that are necessary" He speaks.

"The money will be transferred to your account when it's done, not sooner and not later" He says, the anger in his voice can be heard from miles away. I force myself to hold my body steady, to show him that I'm, asleep and not listening. "Get Jake on the phone" He then speaks. I'm more confused than I could ever be because of this. I've no clue what he's talking about but I know it has something to do with his company or building or the world, since he owns everything in the world and controls it, like he wants to do with me.

"Jake, tell your men that this needs to be finished tomorrow. We've worked hard on this project and I'm wasting more money on greedy idiots" He says. I roll my eyes, he's the greedy idiot who only cares about himself. "You'd be best to remember that because I don't tolerate mistakes" He speaks and his voice sends shivers running down my spine for some reason. "My wife deserves the best and the best she shall get" He then adds and I freeze as soon as he has said that.
