“Ken, I want to tell you a story, it’s a tragic story, are you listening? ” she turned to check if he was still alive, he was, he had slowed his breathing that way the poison won’t kill him quickly. But he was unable to move, she smiled and then stared again at the ceiling and began her story.

“once upon a time, there was a girl named shella she was 25 years old, beautiful, humble and always kept to herself. An introvert in summary she would go to work and come back home, never had any issues with anyone and along the line she met Ken.”

“Ken who was 30 years old, a very handsome guy, so vibrant, he was a great guy and everyone adored him” she laughed this time and then sighed before she went on with her story

“He would come to shella workplace everytime under the guise of coming to see his friend Ade, her boss but he wanted to see her and talk to her, shella never knew about this she was just too focused on her work, until one-day ken couldn’t hide his feelings anymore he walked up to shella and asked her out, she didn’t know how to feel about this or what to say she just stood there mute and then after a minute she walked away, after a lot of pestering from Ken she decided to give him a chance and along the line she fell for him.”

Shelia paused and looked at Ken, she saw that he was still breathing, though barely clinging on to the little life left in him. She continued and said,

“She had never felt the way he made her feel and then she got blinded by love she ignored every red flag, she felt love covered all things, she should have been smarter and know better.
