My Atm Machine - S01 E02

Read Story: SEASON 1 EPISODE 2

“Hmm” she sighs

“My name is presh charles and am the second daughter of my parents,I had an elder sister which is rita and a younger brother uche,my parents are not that rich but they do anything possible for us to make our life better

I just graduated from the secondary school and planning towards my jamb examination,my friends in school advices me to start a tutorial in a centre near to my parents house

Being an Art student,I had no choice than to start attending tutorials..

I was done that fateful day and carried my handbag,a car keep trailing me,I started walking fast and faster,not until it double crossed me.

“Are you m..a.d?”

“Are you c.u.r.s.e.d” I rant out in anger as a man in his mid twenties alighted from the car

“Am sorry young lady,I was trailing you ever since but you are not giving me attention,I will like to know you dear” he said searching my eyes for an answer

“You know what! I don’t wished to know you” I said leaving him behind

He walked up to me, leaving his car behind

“Please just give me a chance” he pleaded

I hissed and went on my ways

I got home to meet pile of used plates waiting for me in the kitchen

“Presh,why don’t you wash these dishes before going to lesson?” Rita asked me pointing towards the kitchen

“Please sister just spare me as I dey here,you know that I always go for lesson,why can’t you wash it,must you wait till I come,what if I travel,is this how you will leave everything till am back? Sister! you are getting older every single day,stop pushing all those chores to me! I also have a life.

“You have a life?my friend before I leave this place,go into the kitchen now and wash all those damñ plates” she said

“You know what! I stand my ground today,am going nowhere” I said and ran up to my room, locking the door behind

“You won’t come out now shea! You won’t eat till mum is back” she said and left while I heaved out loudly and lie flat on my bed.

I don’t know when I slept off but was woken up by a loud bang on my door…..
