Melisa’s POV

I walked into Diana’s office and anger overwhelmed me because behind her seat was a picture or a drawing of her and Charles at their wedding. When she noticed it was me at the entrance to her office, she stood up and ran towards me and gave me a big hug and she asked so where have you been all these years? I said in my mind hating and trying to destroy you. But I voiced out travelling the world. She asked how are your mum and dad? I told her mum’s fine but that dad’s late. She said so sorry for the demise of your father. But she said you didn’t invite me to his funeral? I said so sorry but that it was a private ceremony and she said okay no problem. I asked her I see you are doing well for yourself you married Charles Anderson? In my mind I said my dream guy. She said well that’s how fate wanted it. Just then Charles opened the door and poked his head into the office and wanted to say something but when he saw me, he froze and said Diana can I talk to you for a minute? Diana stood up and walked towards him and he said hi Melisa through gritted teeth and they both walked out of the office. That was my opportunity to bug her office I put in place the miniature camera and the other things which Kenneth gave me to place in her office. When I was done with this, I went to take my seat and after about 15 minutes, Diana walked back into the office and she said we have a lot of catching up to do but that she had to head home now. Then we exchanged contacts before she walked me out of the building. On our way out of the building, I remembered Leona and I asked Diana do you have space for a maid in your house? She said I don’t usually do the hiring of maids in my house but for you I’ll make an exception and she asked so where is the maid? By then we were approaching my car and Leona was seated in the backseat of the vehicle. Then Leona stepped out of the car and respectfully greeted Diana with her head bowed. I went on to introduce them to each other by saying Diana meet Leona one of my trusted maids and Leona meet my friend Diana your new boss. Diana said it’s very nice to meet you Leona. Diana said Leona we better be on our way but I asked Diana for some seconds to talk with Leona. I said to her remember why you are going to their house, you are meant to spy on them and give us feedback and she was just nodding her head and I asked her where are the cameras and transmitters which Kenneth gave you to install in their house? She said they were in her bag. Then I bid her and Diana farewell before I got in my car and drove directly to Kenneth’s apartment. When I got there, I met Kenneth in the study in front of a big screen and what was showing on the screen was Diana’s office and I said oh good it looks like the camera’s I installed are working and he said yes they are and I said hopefully Leona would be able to do the rest of the job.

Diana’s POV

While I was discussing with Melisa, Charles poked his head into my office and said he wanted to talk with me and so I followed him to his office which was just across the hall from mine. Once we were in his office he asked me do you trust that friend of yours? I said well I don’t know and he said shall we check on what she is doing in your office right now? I was about to tell him not to invade her privacy when he turned on his laptop computer and what was showing was Melisa in my office trying to install some miniature cameras and listening devices and I had my hand over my mouth. I wanted to run back to my office and give her the beating of her life but Charles stopped me and said not to that we have to figure out what her endgame is. He told me to return to my office and not to act like I suspected anything and he added anything she asks you for you should say yes. He also said we should be heading home soon. I returned to my office and met Melisa seated in my office and I told her that I have to be heading home now and we walked out of the building together. On our way out of the building, she asked me if I needed a maid in my house I told her yes and she introduced the girl to me her name was Leona and she looked 17. After all the pleasantries, I and Charles took Leona home with us. Once at home, I introduced her to the rest of the maids in my house and that night we had dinner after which I and Charles went to his private office and we placed our thumbs on the pad and the computer voice said welcome Mr and Mrs Anderson and a giant blast door opened and we walked in. After which we headed to the elevator which took us to our secret bunker about a thousand feet beneath the house to watch what Leona would do. We had high resolution security cameras all over the house thanks to our company and tony and the security team who installed them. We headed to the large screen in the bunker and watched her carefully. She did nothing but discuss with the other maids until about 12 am when she thought everyone would have gone to sleep. She stood from her bed and went on to install camera’s and listening devices all around the house I was indeed shocked and surprised and Charles said not to be that his dad told him that there are many people who want to destroy us. I asked him so what are we going to do? But at the time, he was focusing on something else and he asked me about what? I said about that pointing to the screen and he said oh about that? He said we wouldn’t be discussing anything sensitive about the company in the house or in your office and I said I don’t think I can live like this. He said not to worry I’d get Elizabeth to trace where the feeds are going to. After watching where Leona placed all the cameras we retired to our bedroom to sleep.
