Nancy’s POV

I woke up that morning tired and was vomiting anyhow and Daniel suggested that we went to the hospital. We did and the doctor confirmed that I was two weeks pregnant. Daniel was so happy that he picked me up from the floor and spun me around in the doctor’s office and the doctor said be careful Mr Malcolm or do you want her to have a miscarriage? Daniel dropped me gently on the floor and said sorry I’m just excited that I’m going to be a father. I said I’m excited also and the doctor gave us all the rules that pertain to pregnancy and we left his office. On our way out of the hospital, we met Charles and Diana and Charles said Diana was pregnant also. I was indeed so happy because that meant I wouldn’t have to go through pregnancy alone. Charles invited us to his and Diana’s house to celebrate. When we got there he popped a bottle of wine and poured it into four wine glasses and handed us one each then he made a toast and we sipped our drink. While we were in their house, Daniel received a text message and he said we had to go and he gulped down the contents of his wine glass, dropped it on the table and stood. I stood also and we headed to our house which was just across the street. Once we were settled in the living room, Daniel said to me I love you and he added thanks for making me the happiest man on earth. I said I love you too and you’re welcome. He said I know you are wondering what was the content of the text I received? I said yes you seemed serious after reading it and he said congratulations you are the proud owner of and he said never mind let me show you. He grabbed one of his neck ties and used it to blindfold me and he said okay lets go. I asked him where are we going? He said no that’s a surprise. He led me by the hand to his car and made sure that I was seated properly and he helped me to put on my seatbelt and he got in the driver’s seat and he drove us for about 15 minutes. On the car ride, he saw that I was trying to see where it was that we were going and he said no peeking. I decided to calm down and I thought to myself I’m in a car with my husband he wouldn’t do anything to hurt me. After a 30 minute ride, he pulled the car over and stepped out of the vehicle and he walked over to the door on my side of the car and helped me out he led me by the hand and then he took off the blindfold and you wouldn’t believe what I saw. As standing in front of me was a big building with my name plastered across it. I asked my husband Daniel what it means and he said congratulations you have a cosmetic store in California. I asked him how long have you been planning this? He smiled and said ever since we got married and I asked I thought you wanted me to run our fathers companies together? He scratched the back of his neck and said well yes but I know what this means to you and he asked what would happen to all the workers you have working for you in all the other stores you own? I said to be honest, I was thinking of selling them all, in order to focus on running our fathers businesses. He said not to sell them and that I could find someone trustworthy to run the cosmetic stores while I helped him in running our fathers company. I bought his idea but I told him that he was going to help me to select the individual to run the cosmetic stores. He said there was no problem and he asked wouldn’t you like to go into the building? I nodded in the affirmative and we walked into the building hand in hand. When we got into the building, I was surprised as everything was in its place as it was in my other stores. I looked at Daniel and asked him so how did you know that this was the design in my other stores? He smiled and whispered into my ears trade secret my dear. We proceeded to walk the entire length and breadth of the store before heading home.

Nate’s POV

The past two weeks of dating Lillian have been the best of my life. That day after we were done with lectures I sent her a romantic text message. She didn’t reply me and so I sent her another one and she texted me back that she was trying to help Joan solve some chemistry problems. I texted her that she should let me know when she was done. While I was working on my laptop computer, I received an S O S text from her. I dropped everything I was doing and headed to her hostel. When I got there, I saw Joan and Paul outside and it looked like they were making up and someone came from behind me and used their two hands to cover my eyes. I said Lillian I know it’s you and she removed her hands from my eyes and asked me how? I said one is your perfume and I added it gives you away every single time. I said second aren’t you tired of this childish play? She asked what do you mean? I said I was the one who started it with you and its getting old. I asked her what’s going on between Paul and Joan? She said he didn’t call her for close to two weeks now and I said oh that’s brutal and she said tell me about it. I looked towards them again and I saw that they were kissing. Lillian said are you supposed to be looking at another couple kissing or you are supposed to focus on your beautiful girlfriend? I looked back at her and apologised and I said so why did you call me here? She said Lady Gaga is having a concert here in DC and it’s tonight and I asked and you want to go right? She said yes and added that’s why I love you. You always know what I’m thinking before I say it and I said don’t you flatter me. I asked her so are you ready to go like right now? She said let me freshen up a bit and she invited me into the room. I sat on the bed and waited patiently for her to be done with what she was doing. When she was done she came out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped round her slender body. I stood and wanted to leave her to dress up and she asked me where do you think you are going? I said I want to give you some privacy in order for you to get dressed and she said I should please sit that I don’t know what to wear and that once you are done helping me to pick out my clothes for the outing tonight you could leave. I sat back down and asked her so what have you got? Then she went to the closet and pulled out a blue and a red dress and she asked me to choose one. I pointed at the red dress and she said nice choice. Then she said I should please excuse her for her to get dressed. I did and went out of the room and after about 15 minutes she called me back into the room and asked me to zip her gown up I did and asked her are you ready to go now? She said yes and picked up her phone and purse and we were on our way to the Lady Gaga concert. The concert was the bomb by the way; as Lady Gaga performed her hit tracks which included Just Dance, Paparazzi, poker face, telephone and many others. When the concert was done, we headed home and Lillian fell asleep at the back seat of my car. I drove to my apartment and when we got there low and behold my ex-girlfriend Jenny was in my apartment half naked.
