My Cheating Wife - S01 E04

I parked my car at the other side of the road and crossed over to the bar in Lekki.

I entered and could feel ladies around stealing glances at me. No doubt, i knew i’m one good looking dude but God instilled that virtues in me and i don’t flirt around like most guys. I am just thirty-two years old and well to do.

I saw Towobola seated. Man! You need see this lady , so beautiful but it is just that i had no feelings for her. She willingly asked me out when were both in Sweden doing our masters at the university of Lund but i politely turned her down. She felt bad but still sticks around me till i was done and left her there.

She smiled and adjusted herself on the chair. I pulled one of the chairs out and sat down.

Towobola (Smiling) I love your dressing.

Fikayo Ohh thanks..

I said looking around and gesturing at the bartender.

Towobola You’re welcome… But you can trim your beards a little, it looks rough.

Fikayo Towobola !!… Ahh (Laughed).

She laughed.

I remembered that’s how she does back then in Sweden whenever she comes over to my apartment there, she selects clothes for me, combs and style my hair. But i thought of nothing of her but just a friend.

Towobola I am sorry.. Just grooming you.

Soon the bartender brought us a list. I settled for a whiskey whilst she simply took Baileys.

We drank and talked on.

My eyes were growing misty, i scratched and sat upright, looking at her like a moron.

Towobola Fikayo.. Can you hear me?

Her voice was distant.

Fikayo (Drowsily) What?

Towobola Please marry me.

I shook my head and placed my head on the table, that was all i knew.

I slowly opened my eyes and rolled on the bed i slept . I jumped up and saw i was n-ude , i looked at my side , Towobola was sleeping and also nude.

What the f?

Fikayo (Anger) Towobola.

She yawned and rolled back to me. I banged her hands. She opened her eyes at once.

Towobola ( Soothing voice) Baby.. What?

Fikayo what the hell happened between us.

I asked with one of my brows raised up.

Towobola (In fear) Emm.. We had s*x.

Fikayo Ohh God.. How did that happen?

Towobola You were intoxicated by the whiskey you drank , i knew you couldn’t drive home that way. So i decided you take a nap in one of the rooms here.. Then on getting in, you grabbed and started kissing me, telling me you love me and I also love you. I allowed you to have s*x with me. You made me a woman.

As

she said that i looked at the bedsheet, it was full of blood.

Fikayo Shit!!… You’re a bitch.

I said, looking for my trouser.

Towobola Fikayo.. Please why don’t you just marry me.. I am madly in love with you.

She said in tears and made to touch me but i rebuked her.

Fikayo Touch touch me.. I hate you and can never love you.. I am married for God sake. ( Wearing my T shirt.)

Towobola ( Begged) Fikayo.. Please have mercy.

I looked at her for few minutes from head to toe, hissed and stormed out of the room. I could hear her burst into loud weeping.

I was feeling guilty i had s*x out of wedlock but does that mean i am paying Christianah for all she did to me. But I don’t believe in vengeance, i believe God will reward according to everyone’s handwork.

I soon got home and honked. My wife was home already and ran out to open the gate coz i forgot my remote. I drove in and she came to meet me, hugging me. She walked behind me as we walked in, i could see her from the glass panes i had installed on corridor, she flipped her nose ( Yinmu) behind me. I turned back and she smiled charmingly at me once more. I smiled and shook my head.. I entered the house.

Christianah Baby come and eat.

Fikayo I am sorry i won’t be able to eat for now. I need to rest.

I said going inside the room.

Christianah Wait Fikayo.. Come back here.

I waited.

Christianah What’s your problem?.. Why are you acting like a fool?.

I looked at her and walked away.

Christianah Come back here.. How dare you walk out on me?

She said, following me into the bedroom.

Fikayo I have nothing to say to you ( Undressing myself).

Christianah Then your mother must have given birth to a deaf and dumb child.

The words infuriated me. I gave her a resounding slap, she made to return hers. I held her hands and gave her two more resounding ones before pushing her on the bed. She wailed loudly. I walked out of the room angrily.

I sat down in the sitting room, watching Tv, i heard her weeping nearer and soon she surfaced in the sitting room. I looked at her and took my face away.

She rushed at me and locked my shirt. I made no move, she kept trying.

Fikayo Go and sit down.

Christianah No.. You must kill me.

Fikayo Why would I?.

Christianah I am your wife, my parents sold me to you, i am your slave.

I made her sit on my legs while i spoke sweet words in her ears. She was smiling and touching me. Deep down my mind, i was calling her a btch. She kissed me and soon things were spicing up. I politely excused myself. I have made up my mind not to have Sx with her any more. Who knows ?, some of her concubines might have laid thunderbolt on her.

is almost two and half years , she never got pregnant and test revealed we are medically okay. My mother had been disturbing me, saying she was the only one she gave birth to in my father’s polygamous marriage. Mum was the third out of 5 wives. You might be surprised, well my father was a Muslim and my mother was the one Christian lady. He threw my mother out because she refused to convert to Islam. Well , that is another story for another day.

After my leave, i returned to work. It must have been the third day of my return when Towobola called me. I frowned my face on seeing her call.

Fikayo Yes?

I said with no formality.

Towobola Sorry to disturb you.. I just want to tell you what we did the other day has resulted to pregnancy.. I am six weeks pregnant.

Fikayo (Shocked) What.. wait… i ar..

I said but she had disengaged the call.

I am in trouble, I exclaimed.
