''Wat does that mad woman knows in taking care of a baby? I have a plan", Mrs Nancy said smiling ''wat plan Nancy? madam Rita asked confusedly ''am thinking of adopting the child instead of going to the orphanage", Mrs Nancy boldly said ''wat?? u want to steal the child of that woman simply because she is not in her right senses? no way am not in support of that ideal! do u know the suffering she went through in bringing that child to the world? pls Nancy don't do that, it will hurt her! just allow her be with her baby", madam Rita advised ''but am not stealing the child! I just want to adopt the baby and give him or her a better life that's all", Mrs Nancy said ''i said am not in support of that ideal! let's just keep going to the orphanage", madam Rita said ''rita pls I want u to give me ur full support on this! pls I beg u! I just want to feel like a mother even if it is for a short time", Mrs Nancy said ''ok ok! is alright! I understand how u feel! u can do it but just be careful and also remember that the baby belongs to someone", madam Rita said ''ok no prob! thank u for standing by my side", Mrs Nancy thanked ''lets go and say hi her", Mrs Nancy said as they both came down from the car heading towards ada who stood up immediately on seeing them ''leave my baby alone", ada shouted, lay the baby on the floor, pick a stick and start chasing Mrs Nancy and madam Rita with it, they ran for their dear life ''i told u is not that easy", madam Rita said ''dont worry! I will send some boys to come take the baby this night! that one is not a problem", Mrs Nancy said ''hmmm!! pls tell those boys not to hurt the woman o", madam Rita said in a concerned tone ''they won't try such",Mrs Nancy replied ''chai I really feel for the mad woman! anyway! is for her own good", madam Rita said as they both entered the car.

TWO MONTHS LATER

Tessy was seen eating on the dining when Caleb walked up to her ''my love seat down let's eat", Tessy said ''where is my wife ada? where is she? Caleb asked as Tessy opened her mouth in surprise ''answer me! where is my belove wife ada? because the last time I remember, she was pregnant! where is she? Caleb asked again ''errrrm! I I don't know where she is! beside why asking after her when u promise to love me and me alone", Tessy said still surprised ''oh shut up ur mouth! ada is the only woman I love with all my heart! am going out there to look for my wife", Caleb said and walked away, not too long when Caleb left, Tessy pushed the food she was eating away and stood up ''wat is happening? does it means the charm is no more working on him or wat? no! this can't happen! first thing tomorrow morning I shall go and see baba efe! this can't be happening to me", Tessy said and walked into her room.

The following day morning, Tessy travelled to see baba efe, on reaching there, she found out that the shrine was no more there, ''wat is happening? why is baba efe shrine no longer here? wat is really happening? let me asked the passerby", Tessy said and stopped a young guy who was passing by ''excuse me young man! pls I want to asked u something", Tessy said to the young guy who eyed her ''abeg I no get time to wait, I dey run late for work", the guy said and walked away ''bloody civilian", Tessy cursed and stopped another young guy who was passing by ''excuse me young man! pls don't be offended! I want to asked u something? Tessy said ''ok go ahead", the guy said ''pls wat about baba efe? it seems he is nomore staying here? Tessy asked ''baba efe? so u never hear the news? the guy asked ''wat news pls? Tessy asked confusedly ''baba efe don die since one months ago", the guy announced ''no! maybe u don't know whom am talking about! I mean the native doctor who is staying here", Tessy repeated ''him name na baba efe na! him don die! him die last month", the guy said and walked away ''baba efe is dead? no this can't be", Tessy said and fall on the ground almost in tears.
