Charles’s POV

We were about to take our lunch at the dining room, when Lillian’s call came through on Diana’s phone. After I had hung up I realised that my food was cold and that Diana had finished eating and left me at the dining. I asked the cook to help me warm the food while I went to search for my wife. I searched the whole house but I couldn’t find her until I went close to the ocean and I found her there sat down just staring into the sea. I sat beside her and asked what’s up? She made an angry face and asked me what were you discussing with her for over 45 minutes? I said was it that long? She said yes it was. I told her that Lillian wanted to know about Paul and she said Paul your friend who works with the FBI and she asked what did she want to know? I told her that Lillian’s friend liked Paul and she said you didn’t warn her to stay away? I said no that someone has to get close to Paul and melt his frozen heart and she asked why is he like that any way? I told her that Paul was always a fun loving person until his high school girlfriend was killed in a drive by shooting. I continued he loved her so much but when she died, I think he took his heart and locked it up in a box and threw away the key and I added that’s why he joined the police to make sure that never happens to anyone he loves ever again. Diana felt pity for Paul but then I realised that it was getting late and I told her that we needed to go into the house if she didn’t want to catch a cold. We stood up and retired into the house. Once in the house I went to take my lunch and Diana went to our room. After my meal I went to the room only to find Diana naked on the bed. I asked her what does this mean? She sat up and said that we were supposed to be on our honeymoon and making love all over the place and I chuckled and asked her are you sure you can handle it? She said to bring it on. Then I told her that I’d like to take a shower and she said to go ahead that once I was done she would be ready for me.
