Daniel’s POV

When I and Charles got into his hotel room, I lay on the bed facing down and I used my hand under my jaw to prop myself up on the bed and he asked me I see things are going well between you and Nancy? I said yes and added you know she’s shy but that I have a great date planned out for us today. We heard a knock on the door and Charles went to open up and the ladies walked into the room. Diana said that she ordered an extra bed for their room and that the hotel staffs are there right now fixing it that’s why we are here. Then Charles asked you didn’t order an extra bed for us? Diana said that she did but that when they are done with theirs they would come and fix ours. After 15 minutes, we heard a knock on the door and Charles went to answer and the hotel staff came in to the room with the bed and asked if we could excuse them so they could fix it. Diana asked them if they were done fixing the bed in her room and they said yes and so we all moved to Diana’s room. Once in Diana’s room I said oh what a nice room and Nancy said oh shut up it’s the same with yours and everyone started laughing. Diana went to her closet and brought out some chocolates and asked us if we cared for some? Charles and Nancy collected some from her but when she got to me I said no thanks I’m allergic. Diana said oh sorry and she asked me what can I offer you? I told her not to worry that I was okay. After a while, the hotel staff came to inform us that they were done fixing the bed in our room and Diana kicked me and Charles out of their room saying that ladies have things to discuss.

Diana’s POV

After I sent Charles and Daniel out of our room, I and Nancy started discussing. I asked her so how’s the cosmetic business going? She said it’s going well actually, that we just opened a store here in Paris. I said congratulations big girl I know you must have stores all over the world by now? She said I’m still a small girl and I have just 12 stores in the U.S. and the store in Paris is the first one I am opening outside America. I asked so your step mum is still refusing to give you your inheritance? She said what am I to do and I said you know I can help you out with that? She asked me how? I told her you do know I’m a trained lawyer right? She said no thank you. I tried to convince her but she was having none of it she said I don’t want a long drawn out court case and she added besides I’m getting married to a billionaire in a few months so I don’t need her money. I said this isn’t fair, this was money left to you by your father and she said please can we drop this topic? I said consider it dropped because I didn’t want to upset her. She asked me how are things going with Charles and I was about to answer her when her phone beeped signifying that she just received a text message. Then I asked her so who is it from? She said it’s from Daniel and I asked what does it say? She said he wants to take me out and I asked have you replied? She said no because I don’t know what to say. I told her to tell him yes but that he should give her two hours to get prepared and she did as I asked. I told her to go take a bath. She stood up, grabbed her towel from her suitcase and headed for the bathroom and in less than 15 minutes she was done and she came out of the bathroom. I was shocked and I asked her what did you do? She told me that she just took a shower and I asked her didn’t you see the bathtub in there? I added I seem to recall telling you to take a bath and not a shower. I continued you didn’t even wash your hair and she said I don’t know how to mix a bath and as for my hair I only wash it once a week. I led her back to the bathroom, helped her to wash her hair with the best hair products then drew her a warm bath by filling the bathtub with water and mixing in different bath salts and body shampoos. When I was done drawing her the bath, I told her to step into the bathtub I also said she should lay in the tub for at least 30 minutes for her skin to absorb the salts which I mixed in the bath water. I also gave her a razor to shave her armpits and I added careful with this do not cut yourself with it. Then I told her that after she had finished with the bath she should use the shower to rinse her body. I left her in the bathroom and went to find her a dress to wear. I went through all her clothes but couldn’t find anything that could be worn when going out on a date and I shouted from the room so what are you going to wear? Just then she walked out of the bathroom and said she was going to wear a shirt and jean trouser. I started laughing and fell on the bed and she asked why are you laughing? I said that it’s obvious that you haven’t gone on a romantic date before and she sat down with her towel wrapped around her body and looked down and shyly said yes. I stood up went to my closet and pulled out a beautiful armless sky blue gown which was made of silk with diamonds adorning the chest and stomach area. The gown was long with a long slit on the side and Nancy asked how much does this gown cost? I said over a million dollars and she said no thanks it’s too expensive. I said that if Daniel sees you wearing this referring to the gown he would be like wow you are looking beautiful tonight, but if he sees you wearing that referring to her shirt and jeans he would be disappointed but might not say anything. After a long conversation and convincing by me, she agreed to wear the gown.
