His Wife Or His Maid - S01 E26

Yeeaah…I’m going home today..I’m getting discharged from this place!! The past three days was just awful and only medicines and injections…I’m so happy.

Arhaan didn’t came to see me once also from that day. May be he got caught up in work or something?? But Rehan came everyday and spent time with me…lately we had become good friends.

“Hey..so you’re ready to leave this place??” Rehan asked. +

“Very much” I said eagerly. “Umm..where is Arhaan???” I asked him, searching around. He might be paying the bills..I was now looking at Rehan “he didn’t came?? Didn’t he??” I said. It hurts!!

“Ahh..chalo lets get you out of this spider web??” Rehan asked. I nodded. I didn’t wanted to sit on the wheelchair, I decided to walk..I know I can barely walk without someone’s help but I had to get used to it because everytime Arhaan won’t be there for me in the house..so why not from now?? And if something happens now, I can always rush back to my doctor!!

Ahh..the pain was too much!! Wao..I just managed to stand up from the bed and this much was the pain?? What will happen when I’ll walk?? “Mahira please..sit on the wheelchair..stop being so stubborn” Rehan said. +

“I’m not being stubborn Rehan I’m just making myself use to this pain. Who’ll help me in the house Rehan??” I said. He sighed.

I took one more step and I closed my eyes tightly just to avoid the pain..I couldn’t even hold Rehan because I won’t like it. And he’s not a mehram also. I took one more step and yeah I lost my balance..before I could fall somebody caught me and my whole body was on fire..shiver ran down my spine.

I looked and yes it was Arhaan. God he was looking smoking hot in his casuals. He was wearing a light brown boat neck tee with a faded cream color cargo pants. Yes, he was looking hot. I just love his grey eyes..!! “If you’ve finished drooling over me can we go??” He said breaking my trance. I quickly looked down.

Geez…Mahira you literally don’t have any self control. I heard Rehan’s chuckling. I glared at him..he quickly surrendered his hands up. He hold me from the back with his one hand and from the other he held my other hand. I couldn’t stop blushing. +

“Will you stop blushing..it’s kinda annoying!!” He said.

“Do you even know how close we are??” I said. +

“Yes because some one was being stubborn!!” He rolled his eyes.

“And I never asked for someone’s help” I said.

“Yeah..and we saw that” he said sarcastically.

“Why are you even here?? Pretending Oh sweet husband!!” I said battling away my eyelashes.

“Ouch!! That hurts. And btw aren’t you happy that you’re husband is here with you?? You always wanted this??” He said sternly.

“But I never wanted this forcefully” I hissed.

“In this state also you need to fight??”

“I’m not fighting it’s just you’re being rude”

“Yeah yeah..every one can see that!!”

“Stop being sarcastic!!”

“No..I won’t”

“You’re annoying”

“Learned from you”

“Says who”

“Guys guys…stop bickering you two. If you two have forgot then let me remind you both that this is hospital and not home..so please carry this on in your home.” Rehan said in between our talking.

We both stared each other it was more like glaring!! We were almost halfway. Wao..and I didn’t even felt the pain…

“Arhaan you don’t have to do this we both know that you don’t wanna get see with me..so you can go. I’ll come.” I said.

“And who are you to decide?? If I didn’t wanted to be seen with you then I would’ve stop visiting you everyday” he said.

“But Arhaan”

“Shhh..not here..let’s go”

And the flashes began temporarily blinding me. I must say securities were doing their jobs very well in holding them away. Arhaan quickly started walking by holding me tightly and made me sit in the car. We both said our good bye to Rehan. After an hour and a half hour drive we reached home. My back practically hurts from sitting.

He came to my side and gave his hand to hold. But the pain was too much. I couldn’t even move my head also due to pain. He was looking at me and suddenly he was carrying me in a bridal style. My whole body was tingling. He carried me to my room and made me laid down on the bed covering me up with the blanket.

“Rest for sometime..it must’ve been a long day for you.” He smiled as he said. I nodded and closed my eyes quickly drifting off to sleep.

I didn’t knew how long I slept but when I woke up..the sun was already setting down and the lights were dim of my room. I saw Arhaan sitting by the window side and working away on his laptop. He was now wearing sweatshirt with his track pants.

“Hey you’re up..I was about to wake you” he said closing his Laptop.

“What’s the time now?” I asked

“It’s six thirty” he said as he helped me in making me sit.

“Woah I practically slept whole afternoon”

“You must be tired that’s why”

“You didn’t went to office today?? Why??”

“I wanted to annoy someone”. He said..I laughed. “I’ll get you something to eat” he said and went away.

Soon he came back with a bowl of chicken soup. I looked at him confused. “No..I didn’t made it..I don’t know how to use those kitchen stuff!!” He said rubbing the back of his head. This made me laugh.

“Okay stop laughing now, eat and then you need to take your medicines also” he ordered.

“Arhaan you did came to see me in the hospital everyday??”

“And what made you think that??” He asked typing away in his laptop.

“You did said back in the hospital that if you didn’t wanted to be seen with me then you wouldn’t have visited me”

“Aha..did I say that??” He said closing his laptop.

“Yes and it means that you did came to see me”

“No need to flatter yourself that much”

“Why are you being so tough?? Answer me!”

“Why are you asking questions..you shouldn’t be..you should take rest”. I stopped eating and crossed my arms and started looking elsewhere. He sighed.

“Yes I did came to visit you everyday” he said.

“But when?? I never saw you…it was always Rehan who came!!” I asked him confused.

“It’s because I came at night when you slept. Mahira on the day of your accident I signed a deal which has a lot of risk involved. If I didn’t work on it properly it’ll be a huge loss to me and my company. When I signed the deal I was given a condition that if it brings profit then I’ll be practically ruling the business world and the other company will get finance from us but if I loose it then all the loss will be ours..and I can’t even tell you that how much loss it will be”

“So yeah..I used to work in the morning and then after finishing my work I used to go to see you then around five in the morning I used to come back here get ready and then off to work.” He said.

“Arhaan you didn’t have to. You could have told me or could have text me…why harassing you so much!!”

“Nah..it’s okay.” He smiled and caressed my cheek.

“But why did no one told me in the hospital..nurse also didn’t told me” +

“Because you must not have asked them” he shrugged.

“Oh! I am so sorry to think that you aren’t visiting me. I’m so sorry” I said. I was feeling so bad to think of him like that.

“Hey hey…shhhh..calm down. It’s not your fault. You’ll think that only what you’ll see..so you didn’t do anything wrong.” He said as he cupped my cheeks. I hugged him. He froze for a second but then he also hugged me back. “And yeah you do snore” he said chuckling.

“Shut up..I don’t. Well you practically sleep with your mouth half open”

“What…no way. I’m not that ill-mannered”

“You do..and you always sleep diagonally half of your body lying outside the bed”

“Achha..and Oh who talks while sleeping”

“It’s only then when I’m dreaming”

“See you’re agreeing”

“What!! No!!” I scoffed.

“Haha..you did”

And like that we kept on insulting each other..while still hugging. This moment felt so right. Finally we both were being real to each other. In Sha Allah it stays this way only.
