While the Robinson’s had a 24 year old beautiful daughter who stood at 5 foot 9 inches tall, was white in complexion, had long blond hair and had blue eyes. Charles was the heir to the Anderson’s wealth and estate. The Anderson’s had a net worth of about 6 billion dollars. Their company Anderson enterprises produced everything from electric appliances, to cars, cell phones and many others. While the Robinson’s had a net worth of about 5.5 billion dollars. Their company Robinson enterprises were into everything from construction, to finance, to vaccine production and many others. Their parents made sure that their kids I.E. Charles and Diana loved each other very much. In fact they were very close throughout their growing up years. Up to the fact that they attended the same elementary school and because they were both brilliant and talented kids they also attended the best high school in the state. Their class mates used to tease them that they would one day get married and they were even the home coming king and queen as well as the prom king and queen. They even spent time in each other’s houses and they enjoyed each other’s company very much I think this was because they were only children of their parents. The day they were to depart for the university, it was a teary goodbye as Charles got admitted to Harvard to study business administration in order for him to take over his father’s company while Diana got admitted into Yale to study law. On that faithful day, they were both sad as they were going to opposite ends of the country to get their university degrees. That day they promised to wait for each other as Charles gave Diana a promise ring while Diana gave Charles a necklace to use to remember her. All these gifts they exchanged were to signify their love. They also promised each other that they would after their first degrees reverse their degrees meaning that Charles would after studying business administration go and study law while Diana would after studying law go and study business administration. Throughout their days in the university, they kept in touch calling and texting each other and even sometimes video calling themselves. During the thanks giving holidays, the both of them spent that weekend at Diana’s parent’s mansion while during Christmas they spent that particular holiday at the Anderson mansion. This was a ritual which they never missed throughout their eight years in the university.

Charles’s POV

When it was 3 weeks to my graduation from Yale, I went to see Diana’s parents in order to ask for their daughters hand in marriage. I got into their house and met her father reading a newspaper. I told him that I would like to have a word with him. He closed the paper which he was reading, folded it and dropped it on the coffee table beside the couch he was sitting on and he said I’m all ears and I asked where’s mum? He called her and she came out of the kitchen and sat beside her husband and they both asked me what do you want to discuss with us? I said that I was here to ask for their daughter Diana’s hand in marriage. Her mother jumped up and started singing and her father said to go ahead that I had their blessing. Her mother asked so when do you intend to pop the question? I said that I’d like to do that on Diana’s graduation day. I said that she shouldn’t mention anything about it to Diana because I wanted to make it a surprise. I said that I needed her help in the planning of the party because in a previous life she was an event planner and she said okay. After that I left their house. On my graduation day, all my family members and some friends came to felicitate with me including Diana and her parents. During the party, I asked Diana for a dance and she accepted and we danced for minutes on end. After dancing, I took her outside the hall and asked are you enjoying the party? She said who wouldn’t and added you’ve got some nice dance moves there Mr and I said back at you. I said that I have something I’d like to ask her on the day she graduates from Harvard which was in a few days time. Just then a waiter passed us by and she picked two glasses filled with wine from the tray which the waiter was carrying and handed me one and we clicked our glasses together and she said until then and we drank the wine. Four days later at Diana’s graduation ceremony, I was there seated in the front role alongside my parents and hers just as she was during my own graduation ceremony. The announcer said the best graduating student Diana Robinson and the whole hall erupted into a loud round of applauds and I could see Diana’s mother shed a little tear. Later on Diana was given an opportunity to give a speech and it was one of the best I’ve ever heard. When she was coming down from the stage, I went to give her a hand and she asked me what are you doing here? This was due to the fact that I was supposed to be in London supervising the opening of a branch of my family’s company in that city. I said that I wouldn’t miss my girlfriend’s graduation ceremony for the world. We walked over to where our parents were seated outside the hall. On our way there, I said congratulations and she responded thank you. I asked Diana so what’s next? She said that she would try to get a job and I asked her what about your father’s company? She murmured we shall see. A few metres to where our parents were seated, I paused and turned to face her I looked into her eyes and said Diana we have known each other since we were kids and I love you so much and I know that you love me too. Then I went on a knee and pulled out a red velvet box from my suit pocket and I continued darling can we take this our relationship to the next level? I asked her Diana will you marry me?
