Finally! The D5 was no more and Life in Ibadan was back to its glorious self. People went on with their usual activities with smile on their faces, there was no more crisis or supernatural incidents.

Before long, Business organizations and Trading centers opened, the city itself was full of life and operational. There was no more curfews or lockdown.

It was nice seeing the sun shine after months of misty darkness and the Joy on people’s faces added more light to the city.

School activities too were fully active, classes were filled up and studies were taken more serious.

Here I was in class one Monday morning sitting idly as usual, I was busy jotting down the knowledge I had gained from TOK but I couldn’t concentrate thanks to the noise my classmates made.

Most of them weren’t around during the time of crisis but now that they’re back, they began to talk excitedly about what they went through during these past months. I wasn’t listening at first but then I began to hear some uncomfortable words from them, especially from the talkative of the group, Shola.

Shola is one of those girls that were lucky to be born with a silver spoon in their mouths, She loves to talk trash about people but the funny thing is, she’s not even much to look at. The only thing giving her a chance in life is her father’s wealth.

Like some of those students that didn’t come to school during this previous crisis, Shola was one of them and now that she has returned, she was now busy telling the other students stuffs about her own view of the crisis.

Shola I’m telling you.. This crisis that happened is the work of the devil.. Especially witches, they are everywhere in Ibadan.. My mom’s pastor says they’ll sure burn in hell… All of them.

At first, I had no intention of interfering but what this girl said next really pushed my buttons.

Male student Are you sure Shola? We all know witches don’t exist! But I believe thus is the work of the devil.

Shola Shut up.. Witches exist.. They might be living among us.. You never know.

Ebinoluwa Really? So you think they live among us?

Shola Who asked you?

Ebinoluwa I’m just asking a question. If what you’re saying is true, then tell us what they look like?

Shola I don’t know what they look like but they exist.

Ebinoluwa Well.. It seems you’ve been watching too many harry potter movies during this crisis that it must be affecting your brain.

Shola SHUT UP! Besides.. Speaking of witches.. You look very odd, besides we all know how you ended up here… We’ve heard weird stories about you causing problems. Perhaps you’re a witch.

Ebinoluwa (chuckles) Really? Well if I was a witch then you’ll be dead already.

Seeing that this little b-tch was getting out of hand, I decided to use Robin’s magic which was ORDER to make her forget about everything spell.

Ebinoluwa Now, if you don’t have anything else important to discuss, I’d like you all to shut and forget about everything you just discussed.

Shola and students (dazed) ?.. Alright,.. We.. Will.

After that, they all dispersed and went back to their seats and sat down, They all were busy thinking what happened seconds ago but nothing came into their minds.

Eventually, there was silence in the class and I was bow finally able to do my jotting in peace but that didn’t last long cause, Robin had to come and disturb me.

Robin Hey Ebi.

Ebinoluwa Robin.. Please leave me alone.

Robin By the Demon’s wrath, why are you being so cold towards me? Anyways. Sorry for loss, I just came here to show my condolences..

Ebinoluwa Thank you… Is that all?

Robin Not exactly.. Well, I was thinking if you and I could go out and have some fun. Just the two of us.

Ebinoluwa Look Robin.. I’m a child not a grown woman.. We can’t be going out on dates.. My father won’t like that.

Robin (silently) But you’re a very powerful witch. He can’t tell you what to do or not what to do.

Ebinoluwa Really? Maybe you do that to your father but not mine.. I respect and love and I will not do anything behind his back without his approval.

Robin You little… Okay,.. Tell me. Does he know that you sneak out of school?

Robin. Did he now you went to the dark forest?

Robin See.. You do stuff that he doesn’t even know about and it’s dangerous.. Come on now.. He won’t even know about this one.. Trust me, you’ll like the place I’m taking you too.. No funny business and we will be back on time.

Ebinoluwa (sighs) Okay… When are we going to…

Before I could finish my statement, Mrs. Serene bursted into the class and stood in front of our white board staring at us with a serious look on her face, Robin rushed to his seat and sat down, everyone in the class adjusted themselves properly and stood up to greet her.

Class GOOD MORNING MA.

Mrs. Serene Morning students.. Take your seats.

.

We all sat down and watched her quietly waiting for her to talk, instead she took her time staring at us before she made an announcement.

Mrs. Serene Alright class.. As you all know how tough it has been for the past few months and now miraculously things are now back the way are.. The school is trying hard to continue from where it last left off during the emergence of this crisis but doing so has been quite hard.. So I’d like you all to tell your parents that there’s going to be a P.T.A meeting tomorrow afternoon. That will be all.. Have a good day.

After that, Mrs. Serene left the class and immediately she left the students began to mumble, In that moment, Robin then appeared again right next to me telling me when he wanted us to go out but then also Morenike came by my side and made an invitation that I just couldn’t refuse.

Morenike Hey….. Ebinoluwa.

.

Ebinoluwa Hey Morenike. What’s up?

.

Morenike I’m… fine…. Uh..there’s… a… all… girls…. Slumber… Party… I’m….. having… tomorrow.. night…. I’d… like… you… to… come.

Robin What about me?

Ebinoluwa It’s an all girl party. No boys allowed.

Morenike So…. are you.. coming?

.

Ebinoluwa Sure.. I’ll be there.

Robin What about our date? I was hoping to take you tomorrow night.

Ebinoluwa Just leave it till the next night.

HOURS LATER… School activities were over and after waiting for an hour for my dad to come and pick me up, I got tired and went home by myself.

Never in my life I have ever walked home for school but the experiencing it was quite fun. While walking through the streets of BODIJA, I noticed some Altros hovering over some men arguing heatedly between themselves, It was as if they were going to fight and if they did, it is going to be bloody.

I shook my head pitifully and continued walking away, If only those men knew that they were being watches by these dark hollows, They would have settled their quarrel.

I feel sorry for humans, Everything about them has limitations, and they brag that they’re the most dominant and powerful species in the world! They have no idea the horrors that blends with them, If only they could experience the elements of the supernatural, they wouldn’t be saying so. Even now in this very streets, Demons, Ghouls and Witches mix with them but they don’t know, In their eyes, all they see are normal people like them but they don’t know that their very eyes is deceiving them.

Minutes later, I arrived home and saw my father’s car parked, I began to wonder what he was doing in the house that he forgot to pick me up.

The door was unlocked ? as I pushed the door, so I got in and realized everywhere was quite, There was no sign of mom or dad but their foot-wears was on the carpet.

So after removing my shoes, I went upstairs heading to my room but Immediately I walked past my parent’s bedroom, I was surprised when I heard smooching sounds of kisses ? and moans.

Mom’s voice was pretty loud and she was squealing hard begging my dad to f-ck her hard, Shortly after that, there was loud smacking sounds that echoed their bedroom.

I didn’t wait long to listen, I just proceeded to my room covering my ears with my fingers.

Finally, I got to my bedroom and jumped on my bed stretching myself, Moments later, I began to think about what I just heard in my parent’s room.

I can’t believe they were so caught up having s-x that they forgot about me.. Sometimes, Those 2 behave like h-rny teenagers, they’re adults not kids, they should be acting like parents not lovers. They should understand that stuff like S-x is beneath their level, they should learn to control their primal urges.

An hour passed since I returned and my parents were still at it, I could even hear mom’s voice in my bedroom. So to avoid hearing their private activity, I covered my ears with a headset listening to a soft jazz music. Before long, my stomach began to rumble really hard, hunger was bothering me and I’m sure Mom hasn’t prepared any food.

So I got tired of waiting for her and left my room heading to the kitchen, Just as I was about to pass my parents room, Mom came out of the room covering herself with her robe, She was covered in sweat and her hair was rough ; immediately our eyes met, she was surprised to see me.
