Most of the guys I’ve dated usually try to impress me by taking me to exotic and expensive places or showing off their possessions but Arthur was different.

Unlike my previous dates that like to brag and talk about themselves, Arthur was humble and down earth.

As we strolled through the park, We began to talk about a lot of things and most of the things we talked about was the activities school.

Arthur told me about the troubles he faced in his earlier days as a custodian, I laughed so hard when he told me how most students fell on the floor due to the excess wax he uses to polish the ground of the school halls. He went on and on telling me about his mishaps making me laugh like crazy, Never in my life have i laughed so hard, my jaw and cheeks was starting to hurt due to my excess laughter.

Gwen ➡ (laughs) HA! HA! HA! ?… Please Arthur, you’re killing me.. HA! HA… My goodness, I’ve never laughed this hard before.

Arthur ➡ You find all this amusing!?

Gwen ➡ Of course.. Anyone would laugh if you told them this..

In that moment, I spotted a Frisbee laying on the ground, I picked it up and asked Arthur to okay it with me.

Gwen ➡ Have you ever played a Frisbee?

Arthur ➡ No! Whats a Frisbee?

Gwen ➡ Go long and I’ll show you.

Arthur did as I told him to and we began to throw the Frisbee around, it was fun and exciting but the surprising thing was Arthur speed and throw, not many guys could move that fast or throw that good.. If he were a student, he’d make an excellent Athlete.

After a while, Arthur and I stopped throwing the Frisbee around trying to rest and laid on the soft grass , We laid close to each other staring at the full moon!

Gwen ➡ Isn’t it beautiful?

Arthur ➡ What?

Gwen ➡ The moon.. Isn’t she a beauty?

Arthur ➡ Yes it is..

Gwen ➡ Okay Arthur.. Tell me about yourself. Where does your family stay?

Arthur hesitated for a while before giving me an answer, His face looked disturbed and he sat up looking sideways.

Arthur ➡ I don’t have anyone.. My family are all dead, I’ll the only one left.

My heart felt heavy as I heard that, maybe bring up this question wasn’t a good idea, I sat up afterwards and leaned next to Arthur putting my arms around his shoulder.

Gwen ➡ I’m sorry.. I shouldn’t have brought this up..

Arthur ➡ No.. It’s okay. It’s been a very long time now.

Gwen ➡ So where do you live?

Arthur ➡ In somewhere in Queens.

Gwen ➡ Okay, well.. If you ever need anything.. Just let me know, I’ll see what I can do.

Arthur ➡ That’s very generous of you but I’m fine.

Gwen ➡ If you don’t mind me asking? What happened to your family?

Arthur turned around staring at me with his beautiful green eyes as I asked him that, He paused for a moment before giving me an answer.

Arthur ➡ They were killed.

Gwen ➡ I’m so sorry.. I bet you must be very close to them.

Arthur ➡ Yes.. What about you?

Gwen ➡ Well, the only one I’m close to is my mom, she gets me but my father.. Urgh!

Arthur ➡ So you don’t like him then?

Gwen ➡ It’s not like that.. He’s just a bore and a pain, He’s no fun and the only thing he holds in high regard is his stupid house rules.

Arthur ➡ Well, Dads are tough but still your father cares for you.. He’s only looking out for you. Rules are meant to be followed.

Gwen ➡ But not every rule makes sense!! I can’t live my life the way I want. I want to be free and independent. Not to be caged by rules.

Arthur ➡ So what do you want that the Rule doesn’t allow you to do or have?

Gwen ➡ I want to be with someone I truly love, and I want to go around the world and see new things. I want to live like a Queen. Life is short.

Arthur ➡ Indeed.

Gwen ➡ What about you Arthur? What do you want to do?

Arthur ➡ Peace! I want a comfortable life in a quiet place with no noise or distraction and I would love to sit beside someone very special to watch as the sun goes down.

My heart felt warm as I heard Arthur say that, living his kind of life wouldn’t be so bad, But I can’t help but wonder who he would like to be with while watching the sun set. But still, it wouldn’t hurt to find out.

Gwen ➡ So have you found this special person?

Arthur ➡ Yes.. and she’s so beautiful.

Gwen ➡ (jealous) What does she look like ??

Arthur ➡ She has a crimson Red hair just like yours, a set of beautiful blue eyes, pale white skin and the most remarkable white set of fangs. Her form is that of a goddess and her smile is as beautiful as the Yellow Sun.

Right after he said that, Arthur looked at me and then touched my cheek with his right hand rubbing it slowly, I didn’t need a Wizard to tell me who Arthur had chosen, but I still can’t believe I was his choice.

Hearing him define me like that made my heart beat with extreme excitement, None of the guys I’ve dated where as romantic as Arthur, It usually takes a while before I fall for a guy but this time around, I was madly in love with Arthur.

In that moment, I felt some of kind Jolt all around my body like a electric shock, It was the kind if reaction vampires get when they see their mates, this kind of feeling was called THE LINK

I was told only vampires could get this LINK but I can’t believe i’m feeling this connection with a werewolf.

THE LINK has one problem, once you get it it gives you a strong lustful desire that is really hard to control.

As soon as I felt that reaction, I threw myself on Arthur kissing him like there was no tomorrow, My weight pinned Arthur down and we both laid on the grass kissing.

Arthur turned me around pinning my back on the grass and mounted on top of me kissing, his hands soon grabbed and squeezed my bre-sts hard making me moan. Before things could get out of hand, We both stopped as we heard Emma’s Voice.

Emma ➡ By Merlin staff.. What is going on? Gwen!? What’s the meaning of this?

Gwen ➡ EMMA!? How did you find me?

Emma ➡ GPS ?! I can’t believe you..

Gwen ➡ Wait.. It’s not what it looks like.

Emma ➡ Oh.. It’s exactly what it looks like.. You’re trying to have s-x with the school custodian in the middle of nowhere.

Gwen ➡ Keep your voice down..

Emma ➡ You really are crazy and I’m disappointed in you.. Goodbye.

Gwen ➡ Emma.. wait!

Emma ignored me and walked away feeling very pissed off.. I can’t blame her reaction cause I was committing the biggest taboo in the history of the Vampire clan and that taboo was sleeping with a werewolf. I felt really confused and I had no idea what to do. Arthur came behind me and asked if I was alright.

Arthur ➡ Are you alright?

Gwen ➡ I’m fine Arthur.. We shouldn’t have done that.. I’m sorry… I… don’t know what came over me.

Arthur ➡ Me either.. Lets just..

Gwen ➡ Yeah.. I.. Oh f-ck this.

Despite the heat of the situation, Arthur and I kissed again, I clung onto himself wrapping my hands around his neck as I kissed him, Arthur too tightly held my waist, swapping tongues with me. Moments later, we stopped kissing staring at each other.

Gwen ➡ Arthur..

Arthur ➡ Gwen..

Gwen ➡ I.. I.

Arthur ➡ Yes?

Gwen ➡ I have to get going.

Arthur ➡ Oh sure.. I’ll walk you home.

Gwen ➡ No.. That would be a bad idea. Let’s just part ways here.

Arthur ➡ Alright then.. Good night.

Gwen ➡ You too.

Arthur and I separated from each other and went our separate ways, I still couldn’t believe I’ve fallen for a werewolf. I just hope Emma doesn’t rat me out.

After parting ways with Arthur, I began to walk slowly and absentmindedly around the park thinking about the kiss Arthur and I had. I’ve never kissed a guy with so much intensity before but what worried me what the LINK I had with him, I just have to control it, if not everyone will find out what’s going on and it’s going to cause a lot of problem especially for me.

Suddenly, I heard deafening scream echoing through out the park as if someone was in danger!

AIIEEEEEEE!!!

I froze with shock as I heard that, The scream was definitely Emma’s, I’ve time enough time with her to know what she sounds like. Within a flash, I ran over to the direction where her voice came from but before I could get there, I heard intimidating howl that made me freeze with fear and shock.

HOOOOWWWWLLLLL

I’ve heard werewolves howl before but this one was definitely terrifying and very deep, The intensity of the howl was intimidating enough to scare even the bravest and strongest Vampire. I wanted to retreat and call for help but Emma’s life is at stake and she’s my BFF.. She’s always got my back and has always been there when I needed her.. I can’t abandon her.

So I took a deep long breath and then headed to her direction; Seconds later, I arrived at the place and saw Emma lying helplessly on the ground, there was bruises on her face and blood on her clothes. I quickly rushed to her side to see if she was alive; In that moment , I realized there was three headless vampire bodies lying around, Whoever did this massacre was probably still around here.

Before I could even take a step, I felt a mean growl behind my back, At first, I didn’t want to move but I had to see who it was responsible for this. Immediately I turned around, I came face to face with a very big terrifying werewolf ; Werewolves don’t frighten me but this one definitely did, it was 4 times bigger than any of its kind, It stared at me viciously with its bright green eyes baring out it’s claws and in that moment, I had realized I had two options.. It was either I stay and die or fight my way out and escape with Emma.
