CALLA’S POV❤️

I spat out an ounce of blood as I walked into my room pouring a little bit of alcoholic water on my bruise…

I only did what I had to do so she won’t rat out my plans to her dear son…

‘Dear Diary,well things are going great according to plan…The King believed my pity story and now I’m in the castle,it’s not even up to a day and there are problems already,my father is still in jail and i am happy no doubt cause he might decide to expose my plans and that i told him to do so.Just few days Dear Diary,just few days and I’ll become the queen’…i said aloud and as soon as i dropped my pen i heard a gasp from behind me…

‘You witch!!! You terrible witch!!’..Queen mother Ariel screamed and the next thing i knew her nails bored into my skin scratching me..

‘Ahhhh let me go!!!’..i screamed and shoved her on the belly..

‘Javier is going to know about this!! My son must know about your terrible plans you’re an evil person’..she said running away but i was quick to run after her…

We got to her terrace and then the battle began…

She scratched my face and i bit her left hand….

We began struggling and then with the last amount of force in my bones i pushed her over the fence…

She shouldn’t have been next to me when i was reading my diary aloud..

She shouldn’t have toyed with me from the beginning and now she’s paralyzed…

ELENA’S POV❤️

I wiped my tears as I cleaned off the dirt residue on Queen Ariel’s naked body…

Javier was outside pacing forth and back in his own bubble of anger and i sighed hearing his scream…

Just when things were going great for the both of us this had to happen…

How on earth did mother even fall off that terrace??…

Even a very tall person can’t fall off unless with applied force..

‘Queen A..Ariel?? M..mo..mother?? Wh..what happened?’..i asked and she just kept nodding her head which was bent a little…

I sniffed and combed her hair and with the help of a maid I placed her on the wheelchair provided by the doctor…

‘How is she??’..Javier asked as i opened the door..

‘She’s okay,some sore bones,paralyzed but she’s okay and i don’t know how it would make you feel but she’s nodding to my questions’..i replied and he frowned…

‘I want my mother to talk Elena,i want my mother to tell me who pushed her down to the ground from that height!!! I want to kill the bastard that’s doing this and messing with my family! I’m pretty sure someone from the council of doom is responsible for it’..he said and the pain i saw in his eyes made me almost want to cry…

‘I think I should take her back inside we both need to talk’..i murmured and ordered the maid with my hands..

‘Talk about what?? How everything is going upside down!?’..he retorted and this time it was my turn to frown…

‘Get a grip of yourself Javier this also affecting me the same way as you’..I winced and he nodded…

‘Okay I’m sorry,I’m sorry!!’..

‘Good now can we talk now that we’re alone??’..i asked and he nodded as we walked towards his study..

He opened the door and i followed him inside and in a minute we were both sitting on the sofa…

‘You wanted to say something??’..He urged..

‘Yeah I think we should take her away you know,let’s leave Northridge for a while it’s clearly not safe anymore’…I said..

‘Leave?? I have a responsibility here Elena!! You have a responsibility here Elena!! You don’t just run away when your kingdom is in trouble??’..He yelled and i heaved a short sigh…

Ever since this incident he’s been so irritated and screams at everyone for no just reason—Even me!!…

Fine i get it he’s going through a lot but he isn’t the only one??…

‘Look Javier I’m not saying we should both run I’m just saying we could just leave for a while,maybe go to Rithfold or New York.Just you,your mother and i alone.My father can hook us up with the best doctors to treat your mother’s paralysis and she would be—

‘We aren’t going anywhere Elena and I’m not going to talk about this subject again’..He cut in rudely and walked out on me…

What is wrong with him??..

It’s like i have a plague or something that he just ignores me…

He just begged for my forgiveness and now he’s doing the same thing that’s hurting me in the first place…

I don’t think I can take it anymore…

JAVIER’S POV❤️

I clenched my fists lightly as I walked into my mother’s room and seeing her in the condition she was almost made me break down…

She’s the only one i have apart from Elena and Calla..

How am I supposed to protect the kingdom if I can protect my own mother??…

When father died he put me in charge of her..

He made me promise to protect her at all cost and now she’s paralytic…

What have I done??..

Do i even deserve to be king??..

‘Ja..Ja..Javi??’..i heard her stutter and ran beside her immediately…

‘Yes mother?? You can talk??’..i asked and she nodded with her head still bent…

‘Mother who pushed you over the rail mother,who pushed you please tell me and I would send the person to the gallows’..i asked again and all of a sudden she began crying…

‘Ja..Ja..Javi??’..

‘Mother??’..

‘I..i..w…wa…want Lena’..she said and i nipped at my bottom lip..

‘Lena would be with you shortly mother,you go call the queen’..i ordered the maid…

I can imagine the love she shares with Elena..

I’m right here but she still wants Elena..

‘Mother I’m here’..Elena said as she walked into the room…

‘Le..Lena..Lena??’..Mom stuttered again in reply and i shook my head resisting the urge to cry..

A man never cries…

‘She wants you to leave Javier’..Elena said after a minute in a tensed hoarse and i nodded as I walked away..

I waited outside not knowing what was going on and just my luck Calla appeared but with a bandage on her arm…

‘Oh my God Calla what happened to you??’..I asked..

‘It’s a long story but anyways I heard about your mother and i brought these spices to help,I’m really sorry Javier’..She replied holding up a basket and i smiled..

‘Thank you Calla,you’re a very good friend you can go give it to my mother inside’…i said and she nodded nervously..

‘Will she like it?? I mean your mother and Elena both don’t like me’..She asked..

‘Elena doesn’t hate you Calla so you can go right ahead at least she isn’t myopic and shallow to not help my mother’..i replied and nudged her towards the door a little with my elbow…

ELENA’S POV❤️

The door opened and i turned around sharply only to see Calla with a basket in her hands..

‘What are you doing here??’..i asked trying not to sound harsh but what can i do??..

She’s the reason my marriage is having problems….

‘I brought a basket of herbal spices for the queen’..She replied and then all of a sudden Queen mother Ariel began crying and making little noises..

‘Mother what’s wrong??’..i asked and she began vibrating and crying…

Calla walked out of the room and then all of a sudden she stopped..

Wait…

Does this mean?…

Does this mean Calla was the one who pushed her??.

Queen mother is obviously trying to tell me something…

Calla was the one who pushed her oh my God Javier has got to know about this..

That daughter of a nasty b*tch…

She must have done something and when the queen caught her she pushed her off the terrace…

Why didn’t i think of this earlier??…

I should have known judging from the bandage on Calla’s arm and the scratch bruise on Queen Ariel’s…

‘Mother did Calla push you??’..i asked and then she nodded..

JAVIER’S POV❤️

I dipped my feathered pen and just as I began writing Elena bursted through the door.

‘Calla did it!! Calla did it!!’..She screamed ..

‘Wait,wait hold up what are you saying?? What did Calla do??’..I asked..

‘Think about it Javier,for almost an hour when your mother fell from the terrace Calla wasn’t around!! She wasn’t and now she’s here with a bandage on her arm and a bruise on her head…your mother has a bite mark on her arm and a bruise Javier th—

‘Elena are you insinuating that Calla pushed my mother off the terrace??’..i cut in and she nodded…

‘Yes Javier think about it she—

‘Okay no more!! That’s the last straw Elena!! You can’t just accuse anybody just because of a simple dislike?? I thought you were better than this!!! I can’t believe you would accuse Calla of pushing my own mother off the stairs!!!’..i screamed and she just stared at me looking shocked with tears streaming down her cheeks..

‘Javier i can prove it to you just—

‘What if you’re the one who pushed my mother?!!’..The words just rolled out of my mouth and as soon as i realized what i said it was too late…

Elena bursted out the door and I went after her towards our bedroom..

‘Elena i didn’t…

‘I know what you mean Javier and you know what?? This is the last straw for the both of us!!! You clearly don’t love me anymore and you don’t listen to me!! There’s no hope for us anymore Javier i mean what’s the use of being in love if it’s only one sided?? This is also the last straw for me!!!’..She yelled and walked towards the closet…

‘Elena?? What are you doing??’..i asked..

‘I’m leaving you bastard!!! I’m leaving you for good!!!’…
